Chapter 99: Drunken man Part-1

”E-Ether?!!” Seleneʼs whisper was barely audible, her cheeks flushed a deeper shade of red.

Selene found herself leaning back against the wall as Aether executed.... a Kabedon!

”Hmm~” Aetherʼs head swayed slightly as he hazily gazed at the trembling girl before him, his words slurring slightly as if intoxicated by something.

”Hehe... You looookkk cuteee~” ” Aether drawled, his eyes fixated on her mesmerizing blue orbs.

”!!!” Seleneʼs face turned even redder, her gaze dropping shyly as she struggled to withstand Aetherʼs overwhelming charm and straightforwardness.

”Hey~” Aetherʼs voice was teasing as he caught her chin and lifted her head.

Selene clenched her fist, attempting to push him away, yet her resolve weakened... Her true strength drained under the spell of his captivating eyes.

”Haha... Not going to resist?” Aether teased, a mischievous glint dancing in his eyes.

”.... L-let me go...” Seleneʼs voice wavered, barely audible as tears threatened to spill from her eyes.

Undeterred, Aether placed her hand on his abdomen, with his voice low and seductive as he whispered, ”I wonʼt release you until you grant me a kiss at the spot where you once struck me~” His words sent a shiver down her spine, weakening her resolve even further.

”... p...lease, every... everyone... is... here...” Seleneʼs voice trailed off, barely audible as if she were speaking to herself.

”Hehe...” Aether chuckled softly, his expression turning wicked as he observed the blush spreading across her cheeks. Just as he reached out to caress her hair, a voice interrupted their intimate moment.

”What do you think youʼre doing?” Velcʼs voice rang out with menace as he grabbed Aetherʼs shoulder with a vice-like grip.

”Hmm? Velc?” Aether turned back, his expression now a mix of annoyance and defiance as he met Velcʼs intense gaze.

”I already told you, Master. He is harassing the Young Lady!” Timmy chimed in again, his tone condescending.

”You dare to call my name, you bastard!” Velcʼs anger surged, his grip on Aetherʼs shoulder tightening further, his knuckles turning white with rage... if not for the party, Velc would have already beaten Aether to a pulp!!

”Ha! Then what am I supposed to call you... An asshole?” Aether retorted sharply, his annoyance evident as he confronted Velcʼs aggression, ”Also take your hands off me... Youʼre hurting me.”

”!!!!” Velcʼs eyes widened in fury, his veins pulsating on his forehead.

ʼCrack, Crackʼ

Aether winced as Velcʼs grip caused his shoulder to audibly crack.

Gritting his teeth, Aether moved away from Selene, fixing Velc with an indifferent stare, ”I said you. are. hurting. me!” His tone was firm as he gripped Velcʼs forearms in return.

The commotion drew everyoneʼs attention, all eyes turning towards Aether and Velc.

Feeling everyoneʼs gaze, As much as Velc wanted to beat the shit out of this ungrateful slave... but Velc suppressed his rage, mindful of not spoiling his sonʼs celebratory occasion. Releasing his hold on Aetherʼs shoulder, Velc approached Selene with concern evident in his voice, ”Did he do anything to you, my dear?”

Selene who was finally coming out from her dreamland, said with a blushing face, ”N-No Father....”

Seeing her daughter in a weakened state, Velc couldnʼt help glaring at Aether, however,

”Where is he now?” Velc demanded.

”H-He went to see the Princess...” Timmy stammered, casting a worried glance at Aether, who was walking unsteadily.

”Stop him, before he causes any more commotion” Velc said with a sweating face.

If slave acted disrespectfully then it totally falls on their Master... That was Kai!

”F-Father, what did you give him?” Timmyʼs concern was palpable, but Alfred remained silent, focusing on assisting Selene and Velc.

Alfred approached Timmy, his voice barely a whisper as he imparted a directive to his son. ”Wait a little bit and....Go and intervene only after he behaves rudely towards the princess... This is your chance to get into Princessʼs good side” With a nod of understanding, Timmy prepared to carry out his fatherʼs instructions.

”Hmm?” The Princessʼs brows furrowed as she noticed Aether standing before her, obstructing her view.

”What? Did you get the sweats?” The Princess asked, her tone dismissive as she waved her hand in annoyance.

”... Yes~” Aether replied with a small smile, his cheeks flushing as he gazed hazily at the Princess.

”....” The Princess frowned at his peculiar expression, then inquired, ”Where?”

”.... Here...” Aether extended his arms as if pointing towards himself.

”What in the...? tsk... Are you drunk?” The Princessʼs annoyance deepened, and she gestured for the stationed soldiers.

”Throw this useless out” The Princess ordered as the soldiers nodded and moved forward.

”Come with us, you disgraceful dog!” One soldier barked, gripping Aetherʼs collar to drag him away.

”Hmm... Did you just call me a dog?” Aether tilted his head slightly but remained rooted in place.

”YOU---!!” The soldierʼs frustration peaked, raising his hand to strike Aether when suddenly,

”Thud”

The soldier collapsed unconscious as something struck his neck.

”How dare you call me a dog... You dog!!” Aetherʼs annoyance was palpable as he stood over the fallen soldier.

The other soldiers were taken aback by the unexpected turn of events.... Aether knocked out the soldier with just his hands!

”What the hell are you waiting for? Throw this slav--Hfffffff!!” The Princess, about to issue another command, was abruptly silenced as Aether firmly cupped her mouth.

”What are you bitching about, bitch?” Aetherʼs tone was sharp, reflecting his irritation.

”!!!” The Princessʼs face flushed red with a mixture of shame and anger. Never in her life had she imagined a slave would dare to act against her authority. Her gaze shifted to her Mother, to her surprise, her mother, who watched the scene with an indifferent yet amused expression.

The entire room was filled with shocked and horrified expressions as everyone stared at Aether, expecting imminent retribution. However, the Empress remained calm, her amusement evident in her eyes as she observed Aetherʼs boldness.

Even though it was her daughter, the Empress remained calm as if... She was planning something.

Everyone glanced at Velc with pitiful eyes as if they predicted somewhat a certain outcome.

Even the battlefield seemed to freeze, with Kai wearing a horrified expression as he witnessed Aetherʼs audacity in touching his woman.

”Tsk, tsk, tsk... Despite your beautiful face.... You reek of annoying bitch!!!” Aether remarked with disdain, withdrawing his hand from the Princessʼs face as if he had touched something repulsive. He glanced towards the Empress, who had been staring at him with a dead glare.

”Hah...” Aetherʼs smile softened, his tone affectionate as he addressed the Empress, ”You are far more beautiful than your bitchy daughter~”

”!!!!” The gathered audience gasped collectively, shocked by Aetherʼs boldness.

The Archpriestess, who had been observing the situation, sighed inwardly. She knew the Empress enjoyed playful banter, but there were moments when her patience could wear thin, potentially leading to a serious conflict.

Aether was extremely drunk now... so better stop this before anything got out of her hands.

”Ae- Young man---” Yet,

Before the Archpriestess could intervene, Aether spoke again, his tone filled with accusation,

”You, How dare you kiss me?!!!”

”WHAT?!!!” The collective gasp that echoed through the room betrayed the shock and disbelief at Aetherʼs revelation.

ʼCrack, Crackʼ

The armrest of the Empressʼs seat suddenly splintered...
