Flower Stealing Master

Chapter 690: Lust Leads to Trouble

“Your humble concubine… greets Your Highness.” Though terrified, Madame Tang still stood up and saluted.

“What a beauty.” As the most powerful king of the Jin Empire, second only to the emperor, Wanyan Liang had played with many w0men, yet he had to admit—Madame Tang was the most charming and feminine of them all.

Seeing Madame Tang’s graceful, v0luptuous figure and her delicate, rosy face, Wanyan Liang let out a surprised hum. “Madame, you look even more radiant than before—your beauty has grown even more enchanting.”

Outside the door, Murong Bo frowned. Sometimes, being too skilled in martial arts was a burden. Even through the wall, he could hear everything inside with perfect clarity. Eavesdropping was not one of his interests.

Thinking about the absurd sounds that might soon follow, Murong Bo furrowed his brows slightly. He had no desire to make himself uncomfortable, so he walked a few dozen steps away, estimating a distance where he would no longer hear any intimate conversation before stopping.

He was not concerned about Wanyan Liang’s safety. After all, there were plenty of highly skilled guards stationed around, and from his current vantage point, he could oversee the entire courtyard. If an assassin appeared, he could respond immediately.

Inside the room, Wanyan Liang was unaware that Murong Bo had left the doorway. Not that he would have cared. Right now, his full attention was on the captivating woman before him.

Hearing his words, Madame Tang’s face flushed slightly. She couldn’t help but recall how Song Qingshu had tirelessly “plowed” and “nourished” her over the past few days. A wicked thought crossed her mind—if she told Wanyan Liang that her newfound radiance was thanks to another man’s care, would that be enough to make him impotent out of sheer humiliation?

In the end, Madame Tang dismissed the tempting notion. After all, Song Qingshu was still in the residence, and she didn’t want to bring trouble upon him. Forcing a smile, she replied, “Your Highness flatters me.”

Wanyan Liang casually reached out to wrap his arm around her waist. “Madame, there’s no need for such formalities between us. Come, give me a k!ss~”
Unexpectedly, Madame Tang instinctively twisted her waist, narrowly evading his grasp.

Wanyan Liang’s expression darkened instantly, and his voice turned cold. “What’s this? Has Madame found a new lover and already forgotten about me?”

Madame Tang’s face paled, and she hastily explained, “Your Highness, you’ve misunderstood. I have been feeling unwell these past two days.”

Wanyan Liang let out a heavy snort. “What exactly is wrong? Tell me.”

Panic flickered through Madame Tang’s eyes, but she was, after all, a woman skilled in navigating the treacherous world of men. She quickly regained her composure. “I… I am on my monthly cycle.”

“D*mned bad luck!” Wanyan Liang cursed in frustration. He didn’t doubt her words—after all, in his mind, Madame Tang wouldn’t dare lie to him. “Even if you’re indisposed, your mouth should still be fine, right? Come, serve me.”

With that, he spread his legs apart and began undoing his belt.

Madame Tang’s face turned deathly pale. Before meeting Song Qingshu, such a request wouldn’t have troubled her in the slightest. But just half a day ago, she had sworn to Song Qingshu that she would never let another man t0uch her again. If she really complied with Wanyan Liang now… she wouldn’t be able to forgive herself!

“What’s wrong? Do you need me to beg you?” Wanyan Liang’s patience wore thin when she failed to act.

Madame Tang bit her lip. She was truly at a loss. She didn’t want anything to do with Wanyan Liang anymore, but she also couldn’t defy his power.

‘Is this the inescapable fate of a woman?’ She let out a sorrowful sigh before finally taking a step forward.

Seeing Madame Tang slowly approach, Wanyan Liang smiled in satisfaction. He wasn’t angered by her hesitation. On the contrary, he thoroughly enjoyed watching w0men struggle internally before submitting—it gave him an unparalleled sense of conquest. 𝙧ΆNò𐌱Ёʂ

‘What a seductive little enchantress,’ he thought, assuming her hesitation was part of an act to tantalize him. He admired her even more.

A truly mature woman knew how to wield every inch of her b0dy’s allure, and such w0men were far more enticing than mere pretty faces. Madame Tang was one such woman.

Wanyan Liang’s excitement grew uncontrollably. He had already made up his mind—whether her cycle had come or not, he would press her down beneath him and take his pleasure.

However, his wicked wish was doomed to fail.

Just as he was staring eagerly at the approaching Madame Tang, a shadow suddenly appeared between them.

Wanyan Liang’s instincts were sharp. He was about to call for his guards when he locked eyes with a pair of deep, pitch-black pupils. The cry for help caught in his throat and slowly faded away.

“Look into my eyes,” Song Qingshu said calmly, staring straight into Wanyan Liang’s gaze.

Though Wanyan Liang struggled for a moment, the disparity in their mental strength was too great. Before long, his pupils lost focus, becoming vacant and unfocused.

Song Qingshu exhaled in relief. The reason he had been able to bypass Murong Bo and the other elite guards to appear in this room was not due to superior stealth skills—it was because he had hidden here from the start.

The moment Song Qingshu realized Wanyan Liang was heading toward Madame Tang’s quarters, he had used his Qinggong technique, Traceless Sand Treading Steps, to reach her room first and lie in wait.

Wanyan Liang, meticulous in his external defenses, had overlooked the need to search the room itself.

Even Madame Tang had been unaware of his presence. Since she lacked martial arts skills, it was easy for Song Qingshu to sneak in without alerting her. He had even kept her in the dark deliberately, fearing that Wanyan Liang, ever cunning, might notice something amiss in her expression.

At last, his patience had paid off. His move had struck true.

Now that Wanyan Liang was fully entranced, Song Qingshu hesitated for a moment before deciding not to kill him. A mature man understood the balance between personal grudges and strategic benefits. A living Wanyan Liang was far more useful than a dead one.

He had briefly considered eliminating Wanyan Liang and taking his place. After all, his previous impersonation of Kangxi had succeeded because he knew Kangxi inside and out. The time he spent in Shengjing had allowed him to gradually replace Kangxi’s closest confidants, ensuring a seamless transition.

But with Wanyan Liang, there were too many unknowns. His entourage consisted of top-tier martial artists and shrewd individuals who would immediately notice any flaws. A single mistake would expose his identity.

Song Qingshu wasn’t willing to take such a reckless risk. Worse, it could even lead to the exposure of his impersonation of Kangxi.

After careful thought, he chose to spare Wanyan Liang—for now.
