Chapter 646: A Sudden Change

Worried she might make a sound, Song Qingshu quickly pulled her into his arms and covered her m0uth with his hand.

“Mmm! Mmm!” Ren Yingying, terrified, struggled fiercely, but the difference in their martial arts skills was like night and day—how could she possibly escape his grip?

However, her struggles put Song Qingshu in an awkward position. Holding a soft, fragrant beauty in his arms was already testing his willpower. With her twisting and turning, her alluring b0dy made it nearly impossible for him to remain composed.

Sensing the change in Song Qingshu’s body, Ren Yingying froze in shock before realizing what was happening. Her face flushed crimson, and she struggled even more vigorously.

“Don’t move. Someone’s coming,” Song Qingshu whispered into her ear. When she continued to resist, he growled softly, “It’s not like we haven’t been this close before. Why are you so nervous?”

Ren Yingying was momentarily stunned. That’s right—during the fight in the forest, they had embraced each other, and when she was recovering from her cold toxin, they had been even more intimate. She hadn’t thought much of it back then. Why was her reaction so strong now?

She quickly realized the difference: before, she had regarded him as a venerable senior and felt no fear. But now that they were officially married, she was wary of him crossing the line, so any of his movements set off alarm bells.

Voices could be heard not far away. Ren Yingying realized she had misunderstood him and glared at him reproachfully, thinking, ‘Why didn’t you just tell me directly? Did you have to make it seem like you had ill intentions?’

Moments later, Xia Qingqing, Ah Jiu, and Zhang Sanfeng appeared at the corridor’s corner. Recognizing them, Ren Yingying dared not make a sound. A newlywed couple not in their bridal chamber but instead lingering in a secluded spot would certainly raise questions.

To annul this marriage, Ren Yingying had sacrificed far too much. She couldn’t afford to fail at the final step.
Song Qingshu, as if reading her thoughts, smirked mischievously and leaned closer to her neck.

Feeling his warm breath on her skin, Ren Yingying froze in shock. ‘How could he be so bold?’

Having deliberated for some time on how to conquer Ren Yingying, Song Qingshu seemed to have made up his mind. This time, his actions showed no hesitation.

When Song Qingshu’s lips touched her neck, Ren Yingying’s mind went blank. She hadn’t expected him to take advantage of her in such a situation and was too stunned to react.

Feeling her soft body stiffen in his arms, Song Qingshu didn’t hold back. His lips moved gently from her neck to her cheek, occasionally nibbling her earlobe.

Ren Yingying was on the verge of breaking down, ready to explode when she suddenly heard him whisper through transmitted sound, “Scream if you like. After all, we’re a legitimate married couple. If they discover us, they’ll think we’re just being playful, not suspecting anything else. Even if you explain, I have nothing to lose, but all your efforts to annul this marriage will be in vain.”

Ren Yingying’s expression shifted. She knew he had struck her Achilles’ heel. As much as she wanted to call for help, losing her chastity was a far greater price to pay than failing to annul the marriage.

As if anticipating her thoughts, Song Qingshu added, “You needn’t worry. I’m only stealing a few kisses. Did you really think I’d dare do anything more with such top-tier experts nearby?”

Seeing her hesitation, Song Qingshu pressed his advantage. “If you behave, I get to enjoy a little, you lose nothing fundamental, and your secret remains safe. Isn’t that a win-win? Rest assured, I won’t take your chastity.”

Ren Yingying felt lost. His words carried a strange power, and she couldn’t help but think, ‘It’s not the first time we’ve embraced. He did save my life. If letting him kiss me can preserve my secret, it might be worth it. Once I return to the Blackwood Cliff tomorrow, I won’t have to deal with him anymore.’

Song Qingshu understood her nature well. As a clever woman, she often weighed her options. As long as he didn’t cross her bottom line, she would likely endure for the sake of her goals.

When Ren Yingying remained silent, Song Qingshu smiled triumphantly, confident she had acquiesced. Growing bolder, his hands began to slide inside her robes.

Tears streamed silently down Ren Yingying’s cheeks. Her heart was filled with sorrow. ‘Brother Chong, do you know how much I’ve sacrificed for you…?’

Suddenly, an idea struck her. Compared to this hypocrite, Song Qingshu’s blatant wickedness seemed far more tolerable. If someone were to take advantage of her, it might as well be Song Qingshu.

With this thought, Ren Yingying’s resolve hardened. She grabbed Song Qingshu’s wandering hand and said coldly, “Let me go!”

Song Qingshu raised an eyebrow. “Aren’t you afraid of ruining everything?”

Ren Yingying retorted icily, “I’ve made up my mind. Compared to you, marrying Song Qingshu isn’t so unbearable.”

Song Qingshu chuckled softly. “Too late.”

Startled, Ren Yingying opened her mouth to scream, but her body suddenly went numb. She collapsed weakly into his arms.

“You promised not to take my chastity!” Ren Yingying cried in panic.

“You were the one who broke the rules first,” Song Qingshu replied with a smirk, wagging his finger before leaning in for a k!ss.

“Mmm!” Ren Yingying’s eyes widened in shock as her lips were forcefully taken. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted Xia Qingqing in the distance and screamed internally, ‘Song Qingshu, you b*stard! Your fiancée is being bullied right in front of you. Why aren’t you saving me?’

Oddly enough, in this moment of crisis, the first person who came to her mind wasn’t Linghu Chong but the Song Qingshu she had once despised.

Perhaps her prayers were answered. The man suddenly released her lips and turned to Xia Qingqing and the others, his posture tense as if he were listening intently to their conversation.

Though immobilized, Ren Yingying still retained her martial arts skills and managed to overhear parts of their discussion.

“What brings you here, Grandmaster?” Xia Qingqing asked cautiously.

Zhang Sanfeng remained silent, his gaze steady.

Just as Xia Qingqing began to feel uneasy, Zhang Sanfeng suddenly struck with a palm aimed directly at her face.
