Investing In Overlooked Women: I Get Cashback On Every Glow-Up

I took the paperwork, tucked it into my jacket, and walked back out into the sun.

Just as I pulled open the door of my ride, a voice called out over the steady hum of idling V8s and V12s echoing down the strip.

”Now that is a serious piece of machinery,” the man said, stepping over with a casual, confident stride.

Around here, supercars were treated like daily drivers, parked bumper-to-bumper outside high-end cafes and private clubs. But this guy clearly had an eye for real craftsmanship.

”Appreciate it,” I replied, pausing with my hand on the door. ”Always good to meet someone who actually recognizes the engineering.”

We got to talking, and within two minutes it was obvious he was a true petrolhead. He wasn’t interested in straight-from-the-factory hype; his real passion lay in raw, rebuilt classics with massive modern horsepower tucked under the hood.

”I prefer the older beasts myself,” he smiled, pointing down the row toward a custom, late-80s widebody coupe. It looked like a restored classic on the outside, but the carbon-ceramic brakes, slammed stance, and twin-turbo setup peeking through the grille screamed absolute custom power. ”Restomodded from the ground up. Took three years to build.”

”That’s a masterpiece,” I said, eyeing the sleek retro lines. ”Takes real patience to pull off a build like that.”

”Patience and way too much capital,” he chuckled, extending a hand. ”I’m Peter. Peter Pear.”

The name hit instantly. Peter Pear was a titan in the industry—the founder and CEO of Apex Global, one of the biggest legacy sports brands on the planet. The man sitting across from me wasn’t just another millionaire in the district; he was a multi-billionaire powerhouse dominating the exact market Zenith was getting ready to disrupt tomorrow.

”Good to meet you, Peter,” I said, shaking his hand, keeping my tone entirely level.

He glanced back toward my car, then eyed me with a sharp, perceptive look. ”You’ve got good taste. And judging by how you move, you’re not just buying these toys for show. What line of work are you in?”

I leaned back against my door, a slow smirk playing on my lips.

”Let’s just say I invest,” I replied smoothly, keeping my hand casually on the car door. ”I find high-potential plays and put capital behind them.”

Peter leaned against his 80s restomod, crossing his arms with a sharp, calculating glint in his eyes.

”High-potential plays, huh?” Peter smiled, tilting his head. ”Like Zenith?”

I kept my face completely blank, but mentally took note. The man had top-tier market intel; word of our sudden board restructuring and capital injection had already leaked into billionaire circles.

”I’m surprised an investor with your eye is putting heavy backing into a brand like that,” he continued, watching my reaction closely. ”Why Zenith?”

”I believe in the company,” I said with a relaxed shrug, keeping it cool. ”They’ve got the right face, the right leadership, and the right product.”

Peter let out a soft laugh and shook his head, a patronizing curve on his lips. ”Are you sure about that?”

”100%,” I answered, my voice laced with unshakeable confidence.

Peter straightened up, adjusting his watch as his tone shifted from casual car guy to seasoned corporate predator.

”Well, since we’re talking shop... Apex is dropping our newest flagship gear and apparel line on the exact same date as Zenith’s launch,” Peter said smoothly. ”Huge marketing budget, global media takeover, elite athlete endorsements. We’re going to suck all the air out of the room.”

He stepped closer, giving me a friendly pat on the shoulder.

”Take a bit of advice from a veteran in this game: move your launch date back a couple of weeks. If you launch head-to-head with Apex, Zenith gets buried, and your investment goes up in smoke.”

I looked at his hand on my shoulder, then met his eyes with a cold, slow smirk. The thrill of real competition hit me right in the chest.

”I appreciate the advice, Peter,” I said, opening my car door. ”But we’re keeping our date. Let’s see who owns the crowd when the dust settles.”

Peter raised an eyebrow, clearly impressed by the nerve, before breaking into a wide, competitive grin. ”Fair enough. A friendly rivalry, then. May the best brand win.”

I gave him a nod, stepped into my ride, and pulled out onto the strip, heading straight back to the penthouse. Apex was a multi-billion-dollar titan, but Zenith had Tiana’s executive vision, May’s unstoppable world-record momentum, Chloe’s airtight legal backing, and my liquid millions ready to fuel the fire.

I walked through the private elevator doors into the penthouse, the quiet hum of the apartment greeting me.

May was lounging stretched out on the main sofa, her thumb flying across her phone screen as she giggled at whatever group chat she was roasting. Over in the open-concept kitchen, Chloe was standing over the marble counter with a apron tied awkwardly around her waist. She had a cookbook propped up against a bottle of olive oil and was carefully measuring ingredients like she was preparing a delicate court evidence exhibit.

It was literally the first time I’d ever seen the top-of-her-class legal counsel anywhere near a stove.

”Look who decided to grace us with his presence,” May called out without looking up from her phone, a playful smirk on her face.

”Welcome back,” Chloe said, turning around with a wooden spoon in hand, looking remarkably proud of herself. ”I decided to experiment. Don’t worry, the kitchen is still intact.”

”Smells surprisingly good, counselor,” I chuckled, walking past the island and leaning back against the counter. But as both of their eyes locked onto me, they instantly picked up on the shift in my energy.

”Okay, spill,” May said, dropping her phone onto the cushion and sitting up straight. ”You’ve got that look on your face. What happened while you were out?”

”I ran into Peter Pear,” I said, dropping the bomb right there.

Chloe froze mid-stir, her legal instincts immediately kicking in. ”Peter Pear? CEO of Apex Global? The multi-billion-dollar athletic titan?”

”The very same,” I nodded. ”Word leaked about our board purge and capital injection. He tried to play the friendly veteran, giving me ’advice’ to push Zenith’s launch date back.”

May’s eyes narrowed, all the playfulness instantly vanishing. ”Why would he care when we drop?”

”Because Apex is shadow-dropping their newest flagship gear line on the exact same day,” I explained, leaning in. ”They’re planning a massive media takeover to drown out our release and crush Zenith before we even get off the ground. He thought he could intimidate us into backing off.”

May let out a sharp, cold laugh, tossing her hair back. ”He thinks his legacy brand can out-hype a world-record moment? He’s out of his mind.”

Chloe set her spoon down, her jaw set with absolute focus. ”They have deep pockets, but their structure is slow and bureaucratic. Zenith is lean, aggressive, and fully backed by your capital. If Peter wants a war on launch day, we give him one.”

I called Tiana immediately, telling her to get over to the penthouse. Within twenty minutes, she walked through the door, her tablet already open with global launch metrics and supply chain numbers glowing on the screen.

When I laid out Peter Pear’s plan for Apex to shadow-drop their flagship line on our exact launch date, Tiana’s expression went dead serious.

”Apex has massive legacy media connections,” Tiana said, pacing near the kitchen island as Chloe and May listened closely. ”If they run a full-scale global ad blitz on the same morning, we risk getting drowned out in the headlines. My immediate recommendation is to take a hefty cut from our recent $10 million operational funding and pivot it straight into emergency marketing channels.”

”Hold on,” I stopped her right there, raising a hand. ”That $10 million was earmarked specifically for factory upgrades, mass production scaling, and securing our exclusive international supply lines. If we strip production capital right now to fight an ad war, what happens when order volumes explode and we can’t fulfill them?”

Tiana hesitated, looking at her financial charts. ”We’d risk running into stock shortages...”

”Exactly. We don’t compromise production to play defense,” I said, pulling out my device and authorizing a direct capital transfer right in front of them. ”Production stays at 100%. As for marketing?”

I tapped the authorization screen, sending a staggering $15,000,000 straight into Zenith’s promotional vault.

[ Capital Injected into Zenith (Marketing Stack): -$15,000,000 ]

[ Remaining Liquid Balance: $11,823,000 ]

Tiana stared down at her tablet, her jaw practically dropping as the massive $15M credit notification flashed green across her dashboard. Chloe let out a low whistle, and May broke into a lethal, confident grin.

”We don’t shift funds around, Tiana,” I said, leaning back against the counter with complete composure. ”We out-fund them. Take that $15 million and buy out every major digital billboard in Tokyo, New York, London, and Paris. Lock up the front page of every major athletic platform before Apex even gets out of bed.”

Tiana’s eyes burned with newfound executive excitement. The 9.5 management potential in her kicked into overdrive—she didn’t just see a defensive response anymore; she saw total market dominance.

”With a $15 million dedicated war chest on top of our production infrastructure,” Tiana said, her voice dripping with sharp authority, ”Apex won’t just fail to drown us out. We’re going to completely hijack their launch window.”

”That’s what I like to hear,” I smirked. ”Let’s give Peter his money’s worth.”
