All the teams were ready, and Pierce was leisurely waiting for news of the eighth invasion.

His expression was indifferent, and there was no sign of panic. Beside him, the others were the same. They were all calmly waiting for the eighth invasion, waiting to see what the monster would be like this time.

At this moment, a voice suddenly sounded in the ears of all the contestants. It was simply a sound of terror to the other contestants.

It was like the sound of the bell from hell. Once it sounded, their souls might dissipate.

[The eighth invasion has begun. All contestants, please prepare for the battle!]

[The rules of this invasion are the same as the previous invasions. Please work hard to survive this invasion!]

Pierce suddenly felt the surroundings begin to turn dark, but strangely, there was no sign of darkness in the sky.

He quickly walked to the city wall and looked down at the clouds. As expected, the clouds below had already begun to turn black, but there was no change in the sky.

Pierce scratched his head. After all, he did not know what this scene meant.

At this moment, he suddenly thought of something and quickly looked into the distance.

There was no sign of fog in the distant clouds. Instead, it was silent.

How were those monsters going to appear?

The surroundings were only so big. There was no way the monsters could be generated here. If they were born here, they would probably fall to the ground.

Moreover, the area ahead had already been transformed into a lake, and more than half of the lake had been cut off, causing the possible battlefield to be too small.

Pierce was not sure. He could only wait silently, waiting for the invasion of the monsters to begin!

After about three minutes, Pierce’s gaze froze. He suddenly felt something squirming in the clouds.

Were those monsters going to be born from the clouds?

The thought occurred to Pierce, but he was in no hurry to deny it. There was a chance it could be true.

What were the rules of the Tower Defense world? No one knew. All they knew was that this was a fantasy world. Nothing could be viewed logically here. For example, this floating city was completely unaffected by gravity.

Therefore, it was not too strange to create monsters in the clouds.

A roar suddenly spread out from the clouds, making one’s hair stand on end. That roar even seemed to contain cries from hell.

Did some powerful monsters appear?

Pierce looked at the constantly surging clouds, but before he could come to a decision, the monsters hiding in the clouds began to appear. Their sharp claws broke through the clouds. From afar, they looked like a group of devils from hell, waving at him.

Pierce was used to such strange scenes, and was not afraid. His main goal was to eliminate all these monsters.

However, according to the hint system, the strength of these monsters was only ordinary, less than level 4. This was no challenge at all.

Pierce was bored while looking at these monsters that looked like hungry ghosts from hell. He yawned and watched expressionlessly as the monsters gradually appeared in the distance.

They were a group of malicious ghosts with wings. They looked no different from ordinary monsters. After all, they were all ugly and weak.

Pierce waited for the group of monsters to gradually fly towards him before he activated the elemental arrow towers he had not used in a long time.

As the elemental arrow towers attacked, the arrows were like flames that illuminated the sky. They charged towards the group of monsters at an extremely fast speed.

The weak monsters were unable to block the attack from the arrow towers and were struck down to the ground from the clouds.

Every time the arrow towers attacked, a large group of creatures would be knocked down.

Pierce looked at this one-sided situation with a melancholic expression. The recent invasions were too weak.

These monsters could not even resist the simplest arrow towers. Pierce could only sigh helplessly..
