After reading carefully, the Elven Queen translated the few parts she understood to Pierce.

The contents on those few parts mentioned spending souls to maintain the existence of the deal which was used to call for the help of the undead army.

If this was a battlefield, these undead army would be a perpetual machine. After all, there would always be dead souls on the battlefield.

Coincidentally, large-scale battles often happened on Pierce’s side. There were basically thousands and even tens of thousands of creatures.

It seemed like this condition was quite fitting for him.

Pierce checked the use of the scroll with the hint system. Immediately after, a series of golden words appeared in his vision.

[A contract for a powerful undead legion. As you have always been fighting, I suggest that you sign the contract and summon them.]

These short words immediately dispelled Pierce’s doubts about the scroll. He signed his name on it without hesitation.

The signed name emitted a strange red light. Then, in a flash, the entire scroll flew into the air and slowly burned.

This contract took effect!

Pierce looked around, but saw no signs of the undead army.

However, the few most sensitive people raised their heads and looked at the forest in the distance.

With their powerful perception, they felt that there were legions forming out of thin air in the forest, and the uncomfortable undead aura was coming from them.

As the number of undead increased, the thick miasma gradually filled the air. Even Pierce felt it.

He turned his gaze to the forest not far away. In the forest, a huge black teleportation gate had appeared.

It emitted black starlight, as if it was an endless black hole.

Pierce finally realized that he was still not strong enough. He felt a deep sense of powerlessness towards this inexplicable situation.

He slowly walked outside the city wall and looked at the portal.

There were rotting soldiers in armor constantly appearing there. The aura they emitted was at least that of a level 3 creature.

The best among them even had the aura of a level 5 creature. It seemed like signing this contract was not a loss.

After about half an hour, the portal closed again, and Pierce received the information about the undead.

[A total of 13,600 undead have been summoned this time. Please nurture them with souls in the battlefield.]

[The strength of these undead will increase with the increase of the surrounding souls!]

Pierce gasped when he saw the number of summoned creatures.

He had never thought that he could summon so many undead creatures.

13,600. This was more than the number of monsters in the Tower Defense invasions!

Not to mention, these undead creatures would not die. As long as there were souls, they could be resurrected indefinitely.

Wasn’t this the best army in the world?

They would not fear death, they would not fear pain, and they could even resurrect indefinitely!

This was the army Pierce needed the most!

His strength had increased greatly. There were 30 elven archers, a patrolling lightning sura, a similarly patrolling Undead Archangel, and an army of 13,600 undead!

With such strength, he would not even need to make a move to deal with the invading monsters.

Pierce temporarily arranged the undead army to stay in the back of the city and wait for the invasion to begin before letting them attack.

He could let them sleep in the back to reduce the energy activity of their souls.

After all, he did not have many souls now. The previous souls were all used to upgrade the Sea of the Dead.

Meanwhile, in the real world, the audience watching the live-stream were stunned to see Pierce appearing outside.

They did not even see how Pierce passed through the Grand Duke Bat!

After all, the other teams were still fighting bitterly against the Grand Duke Bat.

More than half of them had already fallen, or rather, sucked dry.

The Grand Duke Bat seemed to be at ease.

They were very puzzled. How did Pierce pass?

But there was no one to answer their question.

“As expected of Boss Pierce. He actually passed the dungeon without us noticing.”

“That scroll to summon the undead was the reward obtained in the dungeon world, right?!”

“Good lord, good lord, good lord!”

“The contestants from other countries are still fighting, but Boss Pierce obtained the reward directly!”

“…”

The complaints in the live-stream increased. Many people began to talk about the next Tower Defense invasion.

After all, the previous reward was too high!

After obtaining the superpower enhancement, everyone realized that their superpowers had increased by more than two times.

The powerful feeling made many people addicted to it.

Of course, they could not use their superpowers casually and had to follow the country’s laws.

For those who used superpowers to break the law, their country had a special team or organization to deal with them.

Time passed quickly. In an instant, the bright sun in the morning shifted to the afterglow of the setting sun.

Pierce, who was eating, suddenly received a message from the Tower Defense world.

[The dungeon round is over!]
