Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 2005: Chapter 2015: I’ll Pay!

”What do you mean, three million? Didn’t you find a replacement? You need three million for liquidated damages for just one scene?” Lin Anxin stopped.

”Of course,” Lisa said smugly, crossing her arms. ”Your agent signed the contract, and it’s clearly written in black and white. If you don’t finish this scene, you’ll have to pay the brand three million. You need to think it through. If I were you, I’d just finish the scene. You cleared your schedule for the past six months for that movie, and now the movie isn’t being filmed. You haven’t worked for six months, right? Three million isn’t a small amount, hehe, you are a famous celebrity, so maybe it doesn’t matter to you. Otherwise, you could pay for your agent.”

Lin Anxin clenched her fist, wishing she could bury Lisa’s smug face in the ice bucket from earlier.

But she couldn’t!

She knew that Lisa dared to act so brazenly because Shanni had really signed the contract.

Because of the statement incident, her image was damaged, and Shanni was more anxious than anyone. She knew that Shanni had been helping her find all sorts of connections during this time.

This time, it was definitely a trap, and Shanni signed without reading the contract carefully.

Now she remembered, it had been rumored in the circle that the brand boss of this chocolate brand had an unusual relationship with Lisa, being one of her financers.

Looking at the situation now, there’s no smoke without fire—the boss of this chocolate brand probably does have an extraordinary relationship with this woman.

If things really blew up, the other party might indeed sue for money to stand up for this woman.

Three million...

Her bank card, holding half of her wealth, was still with Si Chen, and she had given Baby Chi five million to help with an investment. What’s left is around three million.

If she paid, she’d be completely out of cash. She didn’t know how long this controversy would last or how long before she could start work again.

But if she didn’t pay, Shanni would have to.

Shanni had made a few million over the years following her. She just got married and had children to support at home. If Shanni had to pay this money, she wouldn’t be able to handle it more than Lin Anxin could.

”So, have you figured it out? Are you going to continue filming or pay up? If you pay, is it you or your agent?” Lisa looked at the woman in the center of the set, who was in a mess, feeling especially delighted as the corner of her mouth almost curled up to the sky.

Lin Anxin had outshone Lisa in the industry for years.

Even though Lisa paid much more effort than Lin Anxin, the best resources were always leftovers after Lin Anxin had her pick.

Lisa had endured for so long, but finally, Lin Anxin’s financer got tired of her.

Now everyone in the circle knew that Young Master Si had dumped Lin Anxin. If she didn’t take this opportunity, when would she?

She had endured enough!

”Have you made up your mind? Who pays?” She knew Lin Anxin’s situation and knew Lin Anxin didn’t have much money.

Whether Lin Anxin decided to keep filming or pay up, Lisa had achieved her goal.

Lin Anxin bit her lip, looking at her, about to say that she’d pay it herself.

Suddenly, a childish yet imposing voice broke in, ”I’ll pay!”

Lisa and everyone on the set looked over, only to see a noble eight or nine-year-old boy walking over with Lin Anxin’s agent. Though there was still some childishness on his face, from his features and aura, one could already see how charming he would become in the future.
