Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 1766: Chapter 1756: Must Stay for Another Week Before Resigning

”I’m here with Miss Chi to handle her resignation procedures. You’re not busy right now, are you?” Assistant Xu shook his hand and introduced Chi Enen.

The Human Resources Manager then openly looked at Chi Enen, smiled, nodded at her, and greeted, ”Miss Chi.”

Then he turned his head towards Assistant Xu and said, ”Not busy. You came over, so even if I were busy, I’d have to not be.”

Assistant Xu laughed and declined, ”Haha, don’t say that. If you have something to attend to, Miss Chi and I can wait for a while.”

The Human Resources Manager walked towards the office desk and casually said, ”I was just joking with the assistant earlier. I have a meeting in ten minutes, but right now, nothing important.”

After sitting back at his position, he seemed very approachable, and said to Chi Enen, ”Miss Chi, could you show me your Resignation Report?”

”Okay.”

Chi Enen handed the report to him.

After taking it, he seriously and diligently read it for a while before looking up, ready to speak, ”Hmm... The Resignation Report seems fine. It’s just... there might be some issues with the process.”

”Miss Chi, you haven’t submitted a resignation application to the Human Resources Department before, have you?”

”No.” She decided to resign on impulse and hadn’t thought that far ahead.

The Human Resources Manager said with difficulty, ”Then I might not be able to help you with the procedures. Because the company policy requires that you submit an application to our Human Resources Department through the company’s online system, complete the work handover within five business days, and then seek leadership approval. Only then can you proceed with the formal departure process at the Human Resources Department.”

Chi Enen furrowed her eyebrows, her first reaction was that the Human Resources Department was doing it on purpose, instinctively doubting Assistant Xu. But she had been handling Ryan for over one year, and generally, the company had such regulations. What the Human Resources Manager said was reasonable and logical, and she couldn’t tell if they were strictly following business policy or if it was pre-arranged. As she speculated internally, Assistant Xu standing beside her also appeared tense, desperately pretending not to know anything.

Why isn’t Miss Chi saying anything?

She hasn’t figured it out, has she?

Please don’t.

Miss Chi, please don’t discover anything. This was the best method he could think of to retain her, in case Miss Chi truly insisted on leaving, the Human Resources Department would be helpless.

But if Miss Chi left.

Both he and the Human Resources Manager would be rolling up their bedding and getting out!

Relating to their affluent salaried jobs, both maintained impeccable acting skills, steadfastly not revealing any ’muzzle’., watching her.

Assistant Xu thoughtfully helped voice her concerns, ”Old You, can’t we use the back door? Doesn’t it happen sometimes when people don’t follow the process?”

The Human Resources Manager put on an extremely troubled look, hesitatingly said, ”That was when President Li wasn’t around, occasionally encountering special cases for special handling. Ever since President Li returned to headquarters, it hasn’t happened. And you very well know President Li’s recent mood hasn’t been good, how dare I collide with the muzzle. I don’t want to lose my job either, I still have my wifey and child to take care of. Several mouths waiting to be fed, ah. Assistant Xu, please don’t make it difficult for me. If I could help, considering our relationship, how could I not?”

He finished speaking and apologized to Chi Enen, ”Miss Chi, really sorry. If you could go through the process, complete the work handover and then leave?”
