Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 1428: Chapter 1428: Arrived at the Hotel

”Miss Chi, long time no see.”

”Long time no see. How have you been recently?” Chi Enen responded politely and warmly.

The old butler’s gaze softened a little, and he smiled slightly, ”I am in good health, thank you for your concern, Miss Chi.”

He didn’t waste time and made a gesture of invitation, ”Master Jue has been waiting inside for a long time. Please follow me, Miss Chi.”

”Alright.”

The Crown Holiday Hotel is owned by the Li family. Although Old Master Li didn’t want others to know his whereabouts, the waiters at the Crown Holiday Hotel were aware that a VIP had checked in.

When they saw the old butler leading Chi Enen inside, they couldn’t help but take a few more glances.

The old butler did not hurry to take her to see Old Master Li. He first took her to the hotel’s kitchen.

The hotel’s kitchen was the kind of modernized five-star hotel kitchen, spacious, tidy, and bright.

A line of big chefs was already waiting there.

As soon as she entered, the head chef, leading a few chefs, said, ”The old butler has told us you’re going to use the kitchen. We’ve cleaned the utensils and everything for you. If there’s anything you need help with, just let us know.”

She was just going to make tomato egg noodles and didn’t need such a big setup. Chi Enen awkwardly replied, ”I... don’t really need any help.”

Suddenly, as if she remembered something, she politely asked the head chef, ”By the way, could you please show me how to turn on the stove?”

It’s definitely not that she’s clumsy, but the hotel’s kitchen was entirely different from her home kitchen.

At home, you can just ignite the stove directly, but at the hotel, because they prepare many dishes with precise heat requirements, the stoves are custom-made with various buttons to adjust the flame. If someone who doesn’t know how to use them tries, they might accidentally set the kitchen on fire.

The head chef realized this point too and awkwardly apologized, ”I was too careless and forgot about that. Please wait a moment, I’ll help you light the stove.”

”Alright.”

After the head chef lit the stove, Chi Enen said, ”I also need a concave bottom pot. And could you tell me where the oil is stored, please?”

”Sure.” The head chef found a suitably sized pot, placed it on the stove, and then showed Chi Enen where the oil and seasonings were stored.

Once Chi Enen had figured out what she needed, she didn’t ask for any more help. Naturally, she rolled up her sleeves, washed her hands, and took out the tomatoes and started chopping.

The pot heated up quickly, and she put down the half-cut tomatoes, first pouring oil into the pot. Then she took out the eggs, cracked two of them, stirred them evenly, added a little salt, and continued stirring.

Once the oil in the pot was ready, she poured in the eggs, fried them till they were golden crispy, then poured in water from the side, covered it, and continued slicing her tomatoes.

The whole process was methodical, clearly something she did frequently.

The old butler, having seen many pampered rich young ladies, couldn’t help but smile at the corners of his mouth as he watched Chi Enen straightforwardly chop ingredients and pour oil. The more he watched, the more satisfied his gaze became.

No matter what Miss Chi’s previous identity was, now Miss Chi is already the daughter of the Habsden family. She had no obligation to cook personally for Old Master Jue, yet she agreed without hesitation. No wonder Old Master Jue’s attitude towards Miss Chi had softened so much. Indeed, aside from her status, Miss Chi is genuinely a very likable person.

At least very genuine.
