Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 1071: Chapter 1071: He Chose a Horror Film?

”I...” Chi Enen just opened her mouth.

Her left hand was already forcefully grabbed by him. Holding her hand, his thin lips touched lightly, ”Never mind, it doesn’t matter if you don’t understand. You just need to know that we’re on a date now!”

Li Beijue’s falcon-like eyes squinted, his domineering gaze fell on her, asking, ”Chi Enen, where to next?”

”Next... isn’t it your arrangement?” Chi Enen was used to him making decisions. She was a bit taken aback when he suddenly asked her.

Rule number one of online dating is that the gentleman should fully respect the lady’s opinions!

Li Beijue pressed his thin lips tightly, saying irritably, ”I’m letting you plan now. Where do you want to go next?”

Where to next?

Chi Enen really didn’t know where to go next?

Especially when asked so suddenly.

This was her first time going on a date with Li Beijue like an ordinary couple. She was a novice too, not knowing what to do next.

But, during school, she had heard about others going on dates. It seemed like it usually involved strolling around and then watching a movie...

Oh right!

A movie!

Chi Enen’s eyes lit up, and she said, ”Li Beijue, how about we go watch a movie?”

”A movie?” Li Beijue raised his eyebrows.

In his view, watching a movie was something done at home, considering he had a state-of-the-art private cinema at home. The Li family was also involved in the entertainment industry, owning quite a few internationally renowned film companies. He had backups of all blockbusters, released or unreleased, and could watch anything he wanted.

Although he frowned slightly, he still held Chi Enen’s hand tightly, compromised, and stretched his long legs, leading Chi Enen by the hand, saying, ”Let’s go, we’ll do as you say and watch a movie!”

...

There was a cinema inside a shopping center not far from the City Center Pedestrian Street, and it was Chi Enen’s first time going on a date with him alone. She couldn’t describe how happy she felt.

As soon as they reached the 4th floor, she excitedly pulled him towards the movie advertisement area, ”Li Beijue, look! So many films are out, which one should we watch?”

Apart from them, there were other couples looking at movie introductions.

Chi Enen seriously scanned the movie synopsis on the page, pondering whether to choose a romance film or the recent popular blockbuster.

Unexpectedly, a strong, fair hand reached over, bypassing the two movies she was choosing between, and picked a film from the corner, ”This one!”

”What?” Chi Enen looked over curiously. Her lips twitched seeing the horror image on the cover.

He actually picked a horror film!

Who goes on a date to the cinema and chooses to watch a horror film?!

Li Beijue didn’t give her a chance to protest, taking the horror film’s trailer, he dominantly decided, ”Chi Enen, we’ll watch this one!”

”Where to buy tickets?”

”Over there.” Chi Enen pointed.

There was already a long queue.

Li Beijue’s eyebrows knitted tightly, his thin lips pressed into a line, exasperated!

Had he known Chi Enen wanted to watch a movie, he should have arranged for a private screening in advance!

Seeing his expression, Chi Enen twisted her wrist and offered, ”I’ll line up, you wait here for me.”

The grip on her wrist didn’t loosen; instead, he pulled her back forcefully. Although the arrogant man wore a face full of impatience, he still dominantly said, ”What man lets a woman buy tickets! You stand here obediently, don’t run off! I’ll go!”

After saying this, he released her wrist and walked toward the queue for tickets...
