Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 908: Chapter 908: The Plot on Television Simply Won’t Happen

The butler faintly conjured a thought, but as soon as it emerged, he dismissed it.

”Forget it, I’ll speak to her later, tell her not to fuss over nothing.”

”Mm.”

...

Nuonuo had woken up from her nap after an hour, and Xi Zelie was holding her as they went downstairs, getting ready to have the financial report he wanted to read brought over.

He then saw an unfamiliar maid carrying a bowl of steaming hot porridge coming over.

His peach blossom eyes suddenly narrowed.

He didn’t recall ordering anyone to make porridge.

Whether it was out of nervousness or clumsiness, just as she approached the sofa, she stumbled, the bowl in her hand tilted, and some of the porridge poured out onto her hand. Perhaps scalded, she let out a cry of ’ah’, and flung the bowl from her hand—

The scalding hot bowl of porridge spilled towards the little girl playing on the sofa.

”Be careful!” Xi Zelie reacted quickly, abruptly stood up, sheltering with his back and simultaneously lifting up the oblivious little girl in his arms.

Only a ’bang’ was heard.

The scorching hot porridge splashed on the man’s back, and the man holding the little girl grunted with a suppressed groan. The bowl hit the ground with a sharp crack!

A succession of noises drew everyone else over, and upon seeing the chaos in the living room, they were all startled.

”Young Master Lie, I’m sorry... I’m sorry... I didn’t mean to...” The clumsy maid who had spilled the porridge was the first to cry out, while she pulled out a tissue and went straight to help the man wipe the traces of porridge from his clothes.

Her audacity stunned everyone else, who forgot to stop her.

”I’m sorry... Young Master Lie...” She frantically wiped on the man’s back.

The closer she got, the more she could smell the faint fragrance of orchids on the man, stirring her heart, and though her eyes were still crying, her cheeks began to slowly redden.

The next second, her wrist was seized!

Lost in the sensation of her wrist being grasped, suddenly, a drilling pain transmitted from the bones of her wrist.

Her flushed cheeks turned abruptly pale with a scream, ”Ah—”

The man released his hand, and her left hand clutching the tissue was already limply broken.

”If you can’t do a good job, then those hands are of no use anyway!”

She, sweating with cold sweat, was panic-stricken, and all the scattered thoughts in her mind disappeared.

Xi Zelie’s peach blossom eyes swept over the spilled hot porridge on the ground, and upon seeing shrimp meat inside the porridge, his gaze grew even colder, ”Throw her out, and I don’t want to see her again.”

”Yes, Young Master Lie.”

The butler didn’t dare delay for a second, and quickly dragged the troublemaking maid outside.

He finally realized that he hadn’t thought too much; You Qing really did have eyes for Young Master Lie. And like someone brain-damaged, she also wished to emulate the plots from a dramatic TV series, hoping to play out a story where a cold and unapproachable young master falls for a clumsy maid.

She’s truly gone mad!

In a normal situation, which brainless Eldest Young Master would take a liking to a maid who can’t even do her job properly?

Moreover, as Miss’s maid, didn’t she remember the doctor’s advice? The Miss had just recovered from a high fever and shouldn’t eat greasy foods, better to avoid seafood. Yet she added shrimp to the porridge, no wonder Young Master Lie was so furious.

Not wanting to see her again, it means, she should probably leave Country Y and Country T as well.

The daydreaming maid was pulled away, while the others hurriedly said, ”Young Master Lie, you’ve been burned on the back, shall we call the doctor for you?”
