Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 874: Chapter 874: The Strange Nurse

”Nurse, thank goodness, finally found someone. My stomach hurts, which department should I register? Which doctor is good? Which floor are they on?” A woman suddenly reached out, grabbed the ’nurse’ who was pushing the trolley and walking briskly, and anxiously asked.

The ’nurse’, looking impatient and tense, rolled her eyes, pulled her hand away, and deliberately lowered her voice, ”How should I know? Can’t you find out yourself?”

After saying that, she pushed the trolley and walked outside.

The action momentarily stunned the woman, who then realized what had happened and yelled towards the direction the ’nurse’ left in, ”What kind of person are you! You’re a nurse, what’s wrong with asking you? I’m not asking about your height, age, or whether you have a boyfriend. I just asked about which department to go to for stomach pain! Why can’t I ask?”

Her voice wasn’t soft, and nurses who heard the commotion came over quickly. Seeing her arguing, they quickly tried to calm her down, ”Ma’am, please keep it down, you can’t make noise in the hospital!”

”I will make noise! I just asked for directions, and your nurses are so arrogant, and now you say I am making noise.” The woman grabbed the innocent nurse’s sleeve, furiously questioned, ”Am I not allowed to ask for directions? We come here for medical treatment, can’t we ask nurses if we are lost?”

”No, of course, you can ask.”

”Then what about that nurse just now? Why was she rude to me? What was her attitude! I want to see your head nurse; I want to complain!”

Lin Anxin, supported by Si Chen, limped inside.

She heard the argument ahead, paused, turned her head, and asked Si Chen, ”What are they arguing about up front?”

”I don’t know, I came with you. How would I know if you don’t?” Si Chen replied irritably.

Lin Anxin rolled her eyes at him, listened intently for a few moments, then strangely turned back, nudging Si Chen with her elbow, her beautiful eyes serious, ”Did you hear what they were arguing about? Something feels off to me.”

”What’s odd?” Si Chen’s full attention was on her, not paying attention to the quarreling women.

Lin Anxin listened carefully, ”It seems like this, the grandma has a stomach ache but couldn’t find the emergency department and ended up wandering into the VIP ward. She realized she was lost and just then, encountered a nurse pushing a trolley coming out from inside. She went up to the nurse and asked for directions. But the nurse’s attitude was bad, not only did she not tell her the way but also retorted that she should find it herself. That’s why she got very angry.”

”What’s so strange about that? There are many people in the hospital; it’s inevitable to encounter medical staff in a bad mood.”

”No, what I find strange is what that female nurse said. She kept explaining that during this time, no one in the VIP ward needed medication, so there shouldn’t be a nurse with a trolley. She insisted that the grandma got it wrong and mistook a caregiver for a nurse. But the grandma insists that she did meet a nurse.” Lin Anxin looked at him, her expression grave, ”Don’t you think that’s odd? If the nurse insists no one needed a trolley at that time, then why would someone else insist she saw one?”

”Could one of them be lying?”

Lin Anxin shook her head, ”No, neither is lying...” After all, she was a professional actor if someone was lying, she would have noticed instantly.

If neither were lying, it meant something was off about that nurse!

”Nuonuo!”

Her expression suddenly changed, and she pulled Si Chen and ran towards the ward...
