Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 805: Chapter 805: Chi Ya is in Big Trouble (3)

Outside, people’s conversations gradually shifted to gossip about Lin Anxin and her mysterious financer behind the scenes.

Inside the Makeup Room, Chi Ya still thought that people outside were discussing her with admiration; she sat in front of the Mirror, appreciating her own face.

Right at this moment, her stylist walked in. Politely, they addressed her, ”Miss Lina, you’re here. I’ve been waiting for you for a long time, let’s get started.”

”Mmm.”

Generally, female celebrities give makeup artists due respect, especially those who are newbies in the industry—they are usually very polite to makeup artists.

It was the first time for the makeup artist to meet such an arrogant, senseless newbie. They were taken aback for a moment, but then they remembered that Chi Ya’s backer was a famous director. Despite the unfavorable first impression of Chi Ya, the makeup artist just smiled and approached to begin her makeup application.

The makeup artist had just taken out their own makeup items, opening each one.

They were ready to dip the brush into some foundation to prime her skin.

But Chi Ya suddenly dodged away from the brush, looking disgusted, ”What brand are you using? Let me make this clear, I must use custom-made products from first-line luxury brands, otherwise my skin will have an allergic reaction.”

”This... I’m using hldueuye. It’s a first-line international brand as well, though not a custom-made one. It should be fine, right?”

Chi Ya swiftly moved far away, reacting as if the makeup artist’s brush was contaminated not with brand-name cosmetics, but with viruses, and retorted angrily, ”I told you, I need to use custom-made products from first-line brands, or I’ll have an allergic reaction! Is hldueuye considered A-list? Have you never seen a real first-line brand?”

Holding back their frustration, the makeup artist asked her, ”So, Miss Lina, what do you consider to be an A-list brand?”

”It has to be at least feverjioney,” Chi Ya arrogantly replied.

The makeup artist looked at her as if she were crazy. Of course, they were aware of feverjioney—a luxury name among first-line brands, the ”diamond level” of makeup items, not only exorbitantly priced but also sold in limited quantities. Usually, only socialites and top A-list celebrities could afford it. She was just a newbie, and even if she had some connection to the director, where did she get the nerve to request feverjioney?

”What is with that look?” Before the makeup artist could speak, Chi Ya had already glared at them, impatiently urging, ”I must use something on the level of feverjioney. Go get that type, otherwise I won’t do the makeup.”

”I apologize, but we don’t have feverjioney here, nor do I have the means to get it for you. If you do not wish to proceed with the makeup, then so be it. When Director Feng asks, I will only be able to tell the truth—that Miss Lina is not willing to cooperate with my work.”

No sooner had the makeup artist finished speaking,

Chi Ya furiously slapped them across the face, hitting the makeup artist hard and bellowing, ”Who do you think you are to talk to me like that?! I’m telling you, go ahead and snitch! I don’t need you anymore! Get out!”

”You... you said it yourself!”

”So what if I did?” She didn’t believe a mere makeup artist could upset her. She had already had enough for today. Just now, that slap allowed her to vent some of the anger she felt seeing Gu Qianci clinging to her Brother Chengyan.

”...” The makeup artist covered their face, glaring at her once before turning around to pick up their things and head outside.

Just as they reached the doorway, they ran into Feng San. Feng San was taken aback upon seeing the makeup artist covering their face, tears in their eyes, and was about to ask what happened.

Chi Ya had already pre-empted with her complaint, ”Director Feng, I don’t want her as my makeup artist anymore. She plainly doesn’t want to do my makeup. I told her that I’d be allergic to the brand of foundation she brought, but she refused to change it. Furthermore, she said she wouldn’t do my makeup and was going to complain to you about me, accusing me of being unwilling to cooperate with her.”
