Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 792: Chapter 792: If You Don’t Agree, I’ll Impose a Hidden Rule on You!

Si Chen had intended to have a serious talk with her, but her infuriating behavior threw his initial purpose out the window. ”You named that dumb dog of yours ’Financer’?”

Lin Anxin furrowed her brows and gave him a disdainful look. ”What’s so dumb about Financer? You can’t just bully someone because they’re a Husky. It’s so cute, loves to show off, bites people, and most importantly, whenever it sees a pretty female dog while out and about, it wags its tail and goes up to chat them up. It’s got a real knack for flirting, don’t you think?”

Si Chen’s expression seemed as if he had swallowed a fly, contorted as if he were constipated. ”Are you talking about me?”

”I’m talking about the dog.”

Even if he lacked IQ, he could tell that this woman was using the dog as a metaphor for him. This was the first time a woman had treated him like this, but, over the past year or two, he had already experienced many firsts with this woman, including being dumped twice, so another first like this hardly mattered. He felt like a string stretched to the breaking point, but suddenly he relaxed. A resigned look flickered in his eyes as he eased up and said, ”Lin Anxin, you know very well who you’re talking about. I came here today to let you know that I’ve taken care of that assistant director who harassed you and spread rumors when he couldn’t succeed. You don’t need to worry about him, and I’ve spoken to the others, too. No one else will cross you, just focus on your filming.”

His confrontational attitude was expected, but Lin Anxin felt oddly uneasy with his gentle demeanor, and turning her head away, she retorted, ”I don’t need you to handle things for me. I can resolve them myself without your help.”

”But I don’t want you to resolve them your way. You are my girlfriend, and I don’t like you being in touch with other men.”

Lin Anxin snapped back, ”Let me make it clear one more time, not girlfriend, but ex-girlfriend! And what’s with your double standards? You can be in contact with other women, but I can’t be in contact with other men? You think we’re living in feudal times?”

”I won’t be in contact with other women!” Si Chen gripped her wrist tighter and repeated, ”If I don’t interact with other women, won’t you stop avoiding me?”

He won’t interact with other women?

As if a notorious playboy like him could manage that!

Although Lin Anxin didn’t believe it, the burning sensation from her wrist made her feel uncomfortable. She twisted her wrist, trying to break free, and responded noncommittally, ”Let’s talk about it when you’ve managed to do it...”

She was just fobbing him off, but Si Chen took her seriously and immediately declared, ”Fine. Remember what you said today. Starting now, I won’t have any contact with women other than you. You’ll feel secure being with me and won’t have to keep guessing.”

”Hey, wait! I just said, talk about it if you can manage. I didn’t say I’d be with you...”

Was his Chinese taught by a Sport Teacher?

When did she ever say she wanted to be with him from the start?

”If not with me, then who do you want to be with? Beijue? You can stop thinking about it. Beijue is paranoid; he has been set on Chi Enen for so many years without change.”

”...” Of course, she knew Young Master Li was set on Enen. Moreover, she was not a cheap person who would stoop so low as to go after her good friend’s boyfriend. She was just joking on the phone, was this man seriously ill?

Si Chen was no longer willing to waste his time with her, especially after inadvertently hearing her admire Beijue’s domineering type. He made a unilateral decision, ”We’ll agree on three months, within three months, if I don’t do anything to displease you, we’ll be together. If I do, you can keep avoiding me.”

”I don’t...” before she could finish declining.

Si Chen narrowed his eyes and cut her off, ”If you don’t agree, I’ll make use of the hidden rule on you!”

Damn it! This man was indeed a pervert.

Lin Anxin’s eyes widened, knowing that with his power, if he really forced a scandal on her, it would happen. She thought it over quickly and made a decision, ”Okay.”

After all, she didn’t believe Si Chen could go three months without being linked to any rumors with other women. As soon as there was a scandal, she would be free!
