What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?

I looked up at the giant building that looked like a castle in front of us.

By castle I was, of course, referring to the eastern type of castle instead of the western medieval type of castle.

I would have assumed this was the actual castle belonging to the ruler of the Nekinumi Kingdom if it wasn’t for the fact that there was an even bigger castle further down the street that towered over everything else.

No, the building I was currently staring up at is an inn that Emilia has built and it’s massive…

“How did you… Why… You know what, I won’t even question it,” I sighed.

Emilia giggled, “Ehehehe~ Seeing your reaction makes everything worth it~”

She’s really doing this just for that huh…

Well… As long as she’s happy I guess.

Emilia gestured at the entrance of the inn, “Shall we, Boss?”

I nodded and let Emilia guide us through the entrance, my Nekomata merchant looking especially proud of herself.

When we stepped past the door curtains and into the inn proper, I realised not only did it look high class from the outside, the place looked also especially high class inside as well.

In fact, it looked like those really high class luxury ryokans that I have visited in the past. I had even used a few of them as a model for some of the locations in my stories too.

Wait… I just realised… Did Emilia make use of that to consider the designs? I really think she did…

“Welcome, dear guests,” A staff member greeted, bowing deeply while I was still distracted by the interior. “May I know if you have a reservation?”

I snapped out of my thoughts and turned to look at the staff, only to realise it was a female Nekomata dressed in what was undoubtedly a kimono. I then turned to Emilia, wondering whether she actually made a reservation considering we actually didn’t know when we would even reach this city until recently.

Emilia smiled at the staff, “Please call your manager here. Tell her that the white dragon has arrived.”

I heard the staff suck in a breath before she caught herself and remained bowed. Follow current novels on novel⸺fire.net

“I will do so right away. Please make use of the indoor slippers we have provided, honoured guests.”

I looked down to see the aforementioned slippers all arranged neatly on the step that separated the outdoor section from the indoor section of the inn.

It wasn’t our first time doing this so we took off our shoes without complaint and switched to the slippers they provided.

Stepping into the indoor section of the inn proper, I marvelled at the quality of the lobby.

It was wide and spacious with polished wooden floors, fine paper lanterns scattered around the ceiling and planters arranged strategically to give off a natural atmosphere.

Soon enough, another female Nekomata that was wearing an even more intricate kimono approached us and bowed deeply.

“Lady Aster. It is our honour to finally be able to serve you. I welcome you to the White Dragon’s Castle.”

Ah… Haha, very funny, Emilia… You named it after our party didn’t you?

The manager then straightened again before gesturing towards the interior of the inn, “Please, we already have your room prepared for you and your party. Right this way.”

I blinked, “Don’t we need to check in or something?”

She shook her head, “There is no need, Lady Aster. There is one room that is set aside for your exclusive use here and we always keep it prepared for your visit.”

Err… That doesn’t sound economical? Doesn’t that mean that this inn would have one less room to rent out and it’s just a waste of resources if I don’t use it?

Then again… Emilia is the one in charge of all this business stuff and if she thinks this is fine… Who am I to say that it’s not?

She guided us through the lobby and past the reception area to what looks like a really cozy sitting area.

“Would Lady Aster and your companions like to take a rest first and enjoy a drink or two? Or would you like to head directly to the room?”

“Err… Since we’re here… Might as well take advantage of all you have to offer right?” I shrugged.

The manager smiled at me, “Of course, Lady Aster. In that case, please make yourself comfortable here and I will have staff come and assist you.”

“How fancy~” Lisa giggled, skipping over to one of the couches to plop herself down on it.

I joined her as well while the others also spread out around the seating area to make themselves comfortable.

Incidentally, we seemed to be the only guest right now so there was no one else in the seating area but us.

We didn’t have to wait long before a mix of Nekomata and Inugami staff members returned with trays of drinks and snacks that they presented to each of us.

When I received my tray, I realised that there was a cup of tea and a plate of five round squishy balls that seemed to have some powdered sugar scattered on them with each ball being of a different colour.

Oh… Are these… Mochi sweets?!

I immediately took one and popped it in my mouth, biting into the sticky and soft sweet which confirmed it was definitely a mochi sweet!

Waaaah! I didn’t think that I would be able to taste this here as well! And it tastes just like the mochi sweets that I’ve eaten back in my old World too!

These seemed to be filled with ice cream too! And the different colours seem to correspond to the flavour of ice cream that each contained!

Ahhh!! It’s so good!! I can’t have enough of it! I need to have more!

In an instant, the plate was empty and I felt a sense of emptiness wash over me.

No… This can’t be all right?

I looked up at the staff members who seemed to be staring at me for some reason which I currently don’t care about, “Could… Could I have more?”

They didn’t even get to answer before a cart was suddenly rolled out with a giant plate that was stacked high with mochi sweets.

The combined height was even tall enough that I couldn’t see the person who was pushing the cart behind it.

And there were even more colours too!!

Waaaahhh!! I want it! I want it!

As I was already salivating and thinking about whether that cart was actually for me, a familiar face stepped out from behind the mochi mountain.

“Lady Aster! It seems like you really enjoyed the sweets I made!”

I blinked, “Eldoria?”

That’s right. This was the Off-Worlder who previously worked at Laruule Patisserie before Mother bought it over and she joined our Family to learn how to make even better sweets.

I still remember that though her sweets were good, Tracey’s and Mary’s sweets still tasted better and she basically dedicated all her time to learning how to improve her craft.

It’s been so long since I last saw her and I’m pretty sure she should still be back at Crown Capital City so why is she here?

No wait, I can think of all that later! The first thing I need to know is…

“Are those for me?” I asked, pointing a shaky finger at the mountain of mochi sweets.

Eldoria puffed her chest up proudly, “Of course, Lady Aster! I made all of this specifically for you! To know that I finally managed to reach the level where I could get to see that happy sweet face of yours… All my efforts have not been in vain!”

I have no idea what she’s talking about since all I heard was the confirmation that the mountain of sweets belonged to me so I immediately went forward and started picking them up one by one to start munching on them.

Ahhhh!! They’re all so good!! There’s so many flavours and each filling is different so every time I pick one up, I get a different surprise of what is inside the mochi!

They’re all so good!! I can’t stop my hands!

Om nom nom nom!

I wasn’t sure how long it took but the moment I swallowed the last mochi and licked my fingers clean of the powdered sugar, I felt completely and utterly satisfied.

Which meant that I finally had the mental capacity to question something else.

“What are you doing here, Eldoria?”

She grinned at me, “Emilia asked me if I would like to have the opportunity to make sweets for you again and I accepted it so now I’m also working as a patissier for your company! Don’t worry Lady Aster! I’m not going to slack off now! I’ll continue to work hard and improve myself until I can finally get you to show the perfect sweets face!”

Err… I still have no idea what she’s talking about but… I guess this means that she’s going to make better sweets from now on?

In that case… I have absolutely no complaints~

More sweets!
