THE GOD EATER

Chapter 1253: 65 Supreme Metacs.

Along the way to Loki, Muni was saying, ”Look at this weakling. I have never seen someone so lazy. I haven’t even mentioned how only 30% of you will survive, and he is already fainting.”

”Mark my words, this kind of person with a weak mind won’t go far. I am willing to bet my life on it.”

”This guy is always loud. How annoying!” Loki thought before activating the Devouring Ability.

A black force field erupted out of him and covered everything around him. It submerged Muni and tore him apart. Then it submerged everyone around him in the blink of an eye.

But the black force field didn’t stop there. It spread outwards, covering everything in the sect grounds. Then it spread further, covering everything within the city.

By now, the Dao Lords had become aware of the anomaly. And because the power they sensed from this anomaly was Rank 9, even their true bodies were alarmed.

In a second since the Devouring Ability was activated, the rifts had appeared in the sky of the Sea of Worlds, and pairs of colorful eyes were peering through to look at the Central Domain of the Blessed Heaven World.

Unfortunately, there was nothing they could do because the grand will of the universe had been summoned and had descended as a pillar of light onto Loki. So they could only watch while Loki advanced.

But things only got more chaotic as they watched because two more people becoming Dao Lords appeared in quick succession. One of them was even their enemy, Wandering Thief.

An hour later, in the upper realm, the guardian received a message from his true body. The message said, ”There is a source of temporal anomaly under your jurisdiction. Find and eliminate it if it is a threat.”

”Huh?” the guardian said in surprise. ”There is a second person on the pathway of time after that Time Traveler?”

”How many Dao Lords are in this world anyway? Yet, they have managed to produce two of them in the Time Pathway.”

”It seems the people of this world are really talented,” they said, chuckling wryly.

After joking about the matter, they became serious once more as they thought, ”Who could it be anyway?”

”Could it be the new Dao Lord who just ascended? He is the fourth brother of the great three, and he managed to upgrade a Grand Dao into a Cosmic Dao, so he should be talented enough to become the source of the temporal anomaly.”

But then they shook their heads, saying, ”I’ve already inspected him. He only has one Supreme Metac, and there was nothing related to time about him.”

”I’ve also checked Wandering Thief and that Harem King. Plus, I met all of the old Dao Lords one by one when I made them produce younglings. Yet, I didn’t meet anyone who met the criteria.”

”Who then is the source of the anomaly? Are they hiding somewhere in the lower realm and haven’t become a Dao Lord yet? Could it be that Time Traveler again?”

They asked many questions, trying to figure out the source of the temporal anomaly. When they failed to identify the source, the guardian gave up.

They said, ”Fortunately, I don’t have to rack my brains over it. There is a tried-and-tested method to find the source of the temporal anomaly. I’ll use it now.”

As the guardian went about their job, Loki was busy with his own life.

Loki was now in the upper realm. He had been forced to have a son, and he had escaped from Black Chain, who was hunting him. Now he was using the Power Identification Ability to check his state of existence.

There was no Rewind Metac anywhere in the Devouring Supreme Metac. He removed it as soon as he saw the rifts appear and Dao Lords looking at him.

Aside from that, he experienced many changes from his peak condition in the previous timeline. The biggest change was activating the 26th cube in the 4-D prototype.

He was able to activate the 26th cube after he gained the Life Supreme Metac from Green Fire, the Curse Supreme Metac from Black Chain, the Lust Supreme Metac from Harem King, the Sword Supreme Metac from Sword Maestro, the Archery Supreme Metac from Carefree Immortal, and the Boxer Supreme Metac from Immovable Mountain.

Therefore, he now possessed 8 Cosmic Daos, 19 Grand Daos, 22 Major Daos, and 16 Minor Daos. The 65 Supreme Metac provide a total of 1,089 commonality for the 4-D prototype, helping to activate the 26th cube.

The 26th cube needed 1,053 units of commonality to activate, so he now had 36 units of commonality left over. As for the 27th cube, it needed 1,134 units of commonality. So he needed 45 units of commonality to activate the 27th cube.

This was the best change he experienced so far. The second-best change was that he could devour more lifespan from the Central Domain. This was also because he now had more divinity from the 4-D prototype.

With more divinity from the 4-D prototype, he was able to devour more of the Central Domain in a shorter amount of time and anger Black Chain even more.
