All Beautiful Girls Want to Stick with Me

After Kotomi Izumi left Ayani Kika’s house, she did not head straight back to Harugamo Inn.

Rather, she had no intention of returning tonight.

After all, she had to soothe Megumi Kato first.

How would she do that? Kotomi Izumi had already figured it out. She took out her phone, opened her contacts, and scrolled to the number she had saved earlier for Aunt Matsusaka.

”I was thinking that since I came to Kyoto this time, I wouldn’t need to call Aunt Matsusaka... I didn’t expect I’d still have to.” Kotomi Izumi gave a helpless smile. After saying that, she dialed the number.

Although it was already close to eleven at night, the moment Aunt Matsusaka saw that the call was from Kotomi Izumi, she did not dare delay even slightly. She answered immediately and asked respectfully,

”Good evening, Miss. How may I be of service? Young Master Kaneyoshi called me earlier and told me that you are currently in Kyoto.”

”Aunt Matsusaka, is my family’s private jet parked at Kansai International Airport?”

”Yes, it is.”

Although Aunt Matsusaka did not know why Kotomi Izumi was calling so late to ask where the private jet was parked, she still answered without hesitation.

”Then I’ll send you my location. Could you come pick me up, drive me to Kansai International Airport, and notify the pilot in charge of the jet? I need to fly back to Chiba overnight.”

”No problem. However, although the aircraft is parked at Kansai International Airport, the pilot took leave a few days ago due to family matters and returned to his hometown.”

”What? The pilot isn’t there!?”

Kotomi Izumi inhaled sharply and forced herself to calm down and think of alternative solutions. The pilots responsible for the private jet were supposed to be on standby twenty-four hours a day, so she had not considered this possibility when she devised her plan.

The pilot was not at Kansai International Airport, but if she wanted to complete her envisioned ”Knife-Avoidance Plan 1.0,” she had to fly back to Chiba tonight.

Right now, she had to find someone who could fly a plane.

It was already close to midnight. Even if the private jet was parked at Kansai International Airport, she could not just wander into the airport and randomly find a pilot.

At that moment, Kotomi Izumi glanced at her system interface and thought to herself,

I wonder if the system has a piloting level? I’ve accumulated several million Fame Points recently without using them. Maybe I should gamble on it—unlock all the currently locked ability tiers and hope there’s one that lets me instantly learn how to fly a plane.

After thinking that through, she quickly dismissed the idea.

Too unreliable. Setting aside whether there was even an ability that would let her learn to pilot an aircraft...

Even if there was, the Fame Points she had accumulated might not be enough to fully unlock it.

Several million Fame Points sounded like a lot, but the cost to unlock abilities increased progressively.

The required Fame Points would add up little by little. If the piloting tier happened to be positioned relatively far back, it was entirely possible that she would exhaust all her accumulated Fame Points before even reaching it... assuming the system even had a piloting or similar ability tier in the first place.

Just as Kotomi Izumi’s mind was racing at full speed, Aunt Matsusaka spoke up.

”Miss, if you don’t mind, I can serve as the pilot and fly you back to Chiba myself.”

”Huh?”

Kotomi Izumi did not react immediately to what she had just heard. Then she hurriedly asked in surprise,

”Aunt Matsusaka, you can fly a plane?”

”To be honest, Miss, before I came to work for the Izumi family as a driver, my profession was that of a pilot. Whether it’s helicopters or large international passenger aircraft, I can handle them with ease. Even after becoming a driver, I maintained two international flights per year to ensure my skills would not deteriorate.”

Aunt Matsusaka spoke calmly, as if flying an aircraft were as ordinary to her as eating a meal.

Hearing this, Kotomi Izumi felt immense relief. She had been worried about how to return to Chiba City as quickly as possible with the private jet’s pilot absent. Now she no longer had to worry.

Because Aunt Matsusaka was a veteran driver—skilled not only at driving cars, but also at flying planes.

”That’s perfect. Then I’ll trouble you, Aunt Matsusaka. I’ll send you my location, and we’ll head to Kansai International Airport.”

After saying that, Kotomi Izumi sent her location.

”I’ve received it. No problem, Miss. I should arrive in about twenty minutes.”

”All right. Drive safely.”

With that, Kotomi Izumi ended the call.

She would fly back to Chiba overnight. After soothing Megumi Kato, she would take the private jet back to Kansai International Airport. If everything went smoothly, she should be able to return to Harugamo Inn by tomorrow morning.

She had only come up with ”Knife-Avoidance Plan 1.0” after suddenly remembering that the family had a private jet parked at Kansai International Airport.

Judging from her schedule, there was no way she would get a proper night’s sleep tonight.

Still, she felt that this was a night she had to stay awake—she had to complete ”Knife-Avoidance Plan 1.0,” even if it meant pulling an all-nighter.

If she did not stay up tonight, then once she returned to Chiba, she might very well end up sleeping forever under Megumi Kato’s knife.

As for how to explain things to Yui Yuigahama and Yukino Yukinoshita...

Kotomi Izumi had already thought that through as well. However, she planned to call Yui Yuigahama and Yukino Yukinoshita while on the way to Kansai International Airport.

Right now, she needed to make good use of her time. Before Aunt Matsusaka arrived by car, she would go buy a gift.

A gift that could make Megumi Kato happy.

”It would be best if it were the kind of gift that makes Megumi instantly delighted the moment she sees it. Generally speaking, when choosing a gift, you should pick the thing she likes the most. What Megumi likes most is...”

Kotomi Izumi knew Megumi Kato’s hobbies. She mulled over them in her mind for a long time, trying to choose the one thing Megumi loved most and buy it as a present.

As she thought, she strolled along the street.

Although it was already late, this was a bustling city. Many shops along the street were still open, and pedestrians came and went.

If she did not mind walking a bit farther west, she would reach a commercial street.

Nearly all the shops there operated twenty-four hours a day. In addition, many bars, KTV lounges, and other entertainment venues were clustered along that street. For Kyoto’s night owls and social butterflies, it was practically the perfect place to spend the night.

Kotomi Izumi glanced around at the surrounding shops. There were many that could serve as potential places to buy a gift. But precisely because there were too many choices, she could not decide what to buy for Megumi Kato.

After thinking it over, she first stepped into a milk tea shop and bought a cup of hot mint green milk tea.

Holding the steaming cup in her hands, Kotomi Izumi continued pondering which store to choose and what gift to buy for Megumi Kato.

Just as she was sipping the mint green milk tea and about to make her decision, a childish little girl’s voice suddenly rang out without warning:

”Big sister, would you like to buy a ring?”
