Chapter 1277: Visiting A Peculiar Someone-1

After watching Vega for a while, Anthony couldn’t help but sigh and shake his head. He had been watching her for hours, and during the entire time, Anthony had barely stopped himself from interfering. He knew he didn’t have to worry too much, as the ever-protective Klaus and Amara were always hovering around her, and he was sure Vega knew this.

But still, the fact that some men and women within the Upper Galaxy were already sending flirtatious glances and had lust in their eyes as they looked at her only made Anthony want to kill them all the more. Vega was simply too beautiful even by the standards of the Upper Galaxy, so it was only natural that she drew lustful intentions from both genders.

’I should visit her when she is free,’ Anthony thought to himself, already making his decision.

At this moment, Vega wasn’t alone as she was surrounded by the race and group or organisation that had turned her into their slave, so he could only wait.

With a thought, the rectangular heads-up display changed again as it flickered between each of his friends and subordinates. After a moment, the rectangular heads-up display vanished entirely as Anthony sighed and stopped spying on his friends.

He suddenly remembered something... or rather, a peculiar someone; the Second Supreme Monarch.

With a thought, the rectangular heads-up display appeared again, this time with the view changing to the Abyssal Realm. Although Anthony had wiped out millions upon millions of Demon Monarchs, he hadn’t wiped out all the Demons in order to leave a common enemy, thus maintaining some form of balance.

Hence, the Abyssal Realm still existed.

The Second Supreme Monarch was sitting within an underground cavern as he seemed to be trying to nurse his injuries. He had clearly just come out of some sort of battle. His black eyes remained cold as he sat against the dark wall with bandages wrapped around his body.

’Should I mess with him a bit?’ Anthony thought to himself.

Since he had nothing to do, Anthony was somewhat bored. All he could do now was wait for four days or so until The Sleeping Hollow expedition began.

He was sure that the Second Supreme Monarch hated him to the core, and the man undoubtedly had revenge burning within his mind. But alas, although people praised determination and hard work, unfortunately, the Second Supreme Monarch’s determination and hard work couldn’t help him here.

Even at this moment, the man was still at the S- Mana Rank. He hadn’t progressed a single minor rank due to the curses Anthony had placed upon him.

’If I appear before him, he might really die of anger,’ Anthony mused to himself as a smile appeared on his face.

The Second Supreme Monarch had been a Demon for over a year now. Surely, a man of his former status who had been cunning and intelligent in the past would already know every basic and above-average piece of information related to the Abyssal Realm. Anthony couldn’t help but wonder if the Second Supreme Monarch knew that he, Anthony, had wiped out almost every Demon Monarch, including the Demon King, and most of the Abyssal Realm’s forces.

Would the Second Supreme Monarch still dare to dream of revenge in the face of such overwhelming power?

Anthony’s eyes shifted to the side as his gaze left the rectangular heads-up display, his attention fixed on the ten mountain peaks before him and the hills surrounding them. Due to his battle with the disciples, the Above Disciples seemed to have intensified their training as they had all left for various Law Lands while carrying various Law Notes.

The Above District of the Null Sect was basically empty, as only he and Jarod remained there now.

With nothing else to do, Anthony simply activated Authority Of Severance, and instantly various threads appeared. Without wasting a moment, he severed the space separating him from the Second Supreme Monarch.

Anthony’s figure vanished from where he sat, reappearing within the same dark cavern where the Second Supreme Monarch was seated. The place was utterly dark, and Chaos Energy hung heavily in the air with no sign of any other energy.

Anthony stared at the Second Supreme Monarch, who gazed into empty space with a flat expression on his face.

With a smile, Anthony then spoke, ”It’s been a while, Second Supreme Monarch. How has the Abyssal Realm been treating you?” His tone was amused and playful.

Hearing the voice, the Second Supreme Monarch’s entire body trembled with a primal fear that seemed engraved into both his body and soul. He immediately shot to his feet as he vanished from his position, his body skidding to a stop a few metres away.

His eyes widened as he stared at the figure before him. He didn’t even need to look to know. He would recognise that voice anywhere.

”NULL ANTHONY!!!!” he shouted in rage, his aura and killing intent immediately expanding outwards as the entire underground cavern trembled, threatening to collapse.

Anthony remained silent for a moment, with only a smile on his face as the killing intent struck him, but it simply brushed past him like a gentle breeze. Although the Second Supreme Monarch possessed immense killing intent due to having been a Monarch in the past, it was still nothing compared to Anthony’s.

”It seems you’ve missed me,” Anthony spoke with a smile as he crossed his arms over his chest. ”Who knew you were such a fan?” he added.

Hearing Anthony’s words, the Second Supreme Monarch’s fingernails extended into claws as he stared at Anthony with pure malice. Although he stood ready to attack, he couldn’t move. How could he? He had heard Anthony’s tales even as a Demon at the bottom of society. Anthony was simply that famous.

Of course, after becoming a Demon and integrating into society, he had been stunned to learn that someone on the level of the Demon King existed. But then the Demon King, who had stood above all of them who were Monarchs, had still died. How could he, a mere S- Rank Demon... no, Vampire, possibly land an attack?
