Chapter 1119: Ouf Of Seclusion

As Anthony was lost in thought about Immortality, Butler Patrick continued speaking, ”I also can’t be near the Patriarch and Matriarch as I have to take care of the house, although there are different maids and butlers, a lot of restrictions exist within the building, and only a few can access these places,” he answered calmly.

Anthony nodded his head, saying nothing more, he couldn’t understand how people stayed year in, year out within the Null Estate. Of course, he understood that was their duty, but still...

Maybe if he were in their shoes, he would send a clone out and perhaps explore the outside world through those clones, but again, people that were strong enough to protect the Null Estate were obviously Planetary-level beings, so there wasn’t any form of interest in exploring for them, as they had probably seen a lot of things throughout their long existence.

”Is there a specific reason you returned, Young Master?” Butler Patrick asked as he poured Anthony a glass of wine with practiced motion.

”Nothing in particular, Uncle Patrick, I was just here to rest after looking around,” Anthony replied, his eyes focused on the plate before him as he continued eating without haste.

Butler Patrick nodded and said nothing else, maintaining his composed silence.

Anthony’s eyes turned towards Patrick as he asked, ”You seem chatty today, is anything the problem?” Anthony couldn’t help but ask, as the man had spoken more words today than he ever did at once in Anthony’s presence.

Patrick smiled as he spoke, ”Nothing is wrong, Young Master, it’s just rare to have someone to converse with, that is all,” his tone calm and composed, carrying no hint of discomfort.

Anthony arched an eyebrow as he spoke, ”Aren’t the maids and butlers around to chat with?” he asked, genuinely curious.

But Patrick simply shook his head, and though he appeared unwilling to elaborate further, it was evident that he couldn’t freely converse with the other maids and butlers within the estate due to unseen boundaries.

Anthony, noticing this, just nodded and didn’t bother to delve deeply into matters that had nothing to do with him.

”Are the Patriarch and Matriarch well? I haven’t seen them in a long time,” Patrick asked as he continued to speak a bit more freely than usual.

”Well, everyone is fine, but everyone is also busy, I’m sure you’ve heard about the Angel invasion situation, although you are stationed here, I’m sure you receive news once in a while,” Anthony explained, his words earning a nod from Patrick.

”So everyone is in seclusion as though they are preparing for one final, decisive battle,” Anthony continued, his tone thoughtful.

Patrick stayed silent for a moment, then spoke, ”But you aren’t in seclusion, Young Master.”

Anthony paused for a moment, then shook his head as he spoke, ”I’m already done with mine, Uncle Patrick,” his voice calm and steady.

”I thought you said you were looking around,” Patrick asked, his tone neutral yet inquisitive.

”Yes, after my own seclusion,” Anthony replied without missing a beat, but as he was about to speak again, he suddenly paused, his head snapping to the side and then slightly upward toward the sky, his senses flaring as he gazed far beyond the Blue Planet and toward the Military Alpha Base with pinpoint precision.

”Uncle Patrick, it seems you are in luck, my parents and grandparents are out of seclusion,” Anthony stated without turning to Patrick, his tone carrying a faint hint of satisfaction.

”It seems they’ve grown stronger yet again,” Butler Patrick spoke with a calm smile, as though this was something he had expected all along.

”Indeed,” Anthony replied, a subtle smile spreading across his face.

Patrick stayed silent for a moment before he finally asked, ”Leaving already, Young Master?”

Anthony rose to his feet, his chair sliding backward with a faint squeak, ”I am, I have something to discuss, it’s best to do it now while they are all together and in high spirits due to their surge in combat prowess,” Anthony explained, his tone composed and decisive.

”Greet the Patriarch and Matriarch for me, Young Master,” Butler Patrick spoke with a gentle smile, his posture still respectful.

”I will, besides, I will suggest they visit, so you can stop feeling lonely and have more work to do,” Anthony replied as he shook his head lightly.

”Well, that would be best,” Butler Patrick stated.

”Goodbye, Uncle Patrick,” Anthony stated calmly.

”Goodbye, Young Master,” Patrick bowed as he spoke.

Anthony didn’t speak anymore and simply vanished from where he stood, as he teleported directly toward the Military Base with effortless ease, crossing light-years as though they were mere meters beneath his will.

Light-years away from the Blue Planet, within a Military Alpha Base, the entire Null family could be seen, they had all just emerged from seclusion, well, aside from Irene who was never in seclusion, or Anthony who wasn’t visibly present, yet was undoubtedly there.

”It seems we all came out at the same time,” Mitchelle spoke calmly, her soul-bound book floating before her as its pages flipped continuously, as though it were cataloging the affinities she had awakened after entering seclusion.

”Sigh... only if I could find another opponent like the Sword Origin,” Michael sighed as he shook his head, as he currently had no one capable of properly testing his newfound power.

After a moment of thought, his mind shifted, and he realized there was indeed someone he could spar with, his father.

”Hey Dad, what do you say about sparring to test our new strength and get used to it?” Michael suggested, a wide smile appearing across his face at the thought.

Collins’ eyes turned toward his son, and he simply shook his head as he declined, ”Go and find Klaus, I don’t have time to entertain you,” he spoke flatly, his tone uninterested.

”Sigh... you only have time for your wife and not your son,” Michael replied with a mock sorrowful expression, exaggerating his tone slightly.

”Well, the son of mine is over a thousand years old,” Collins retorted as he simply held Irene’s hands within his own, casting Michael aside like a pebble without a second thought.

”It seems everyone is happy about their breakthrough,” a voice came from an indeterminate direction, calm yet familiar. No one moved into an attacking position, as they all recognized the owner of the voice instantly.

Their child, their grandchild, Null Anthony.
