Lust System: Harem Of Beautiful Women

Chapter 91: Looking For A Job, Not To Be A Prostitute

”Wh... where then?”

Nancy already felt her vision darkening.

Luis showed her a webpage on his iPad. ”Just this year, Nova Media has filed at least fifty lawsuits.”

”It’s all the same old trick. They come in, paint this grand, lavish picture to get you to sign, then hand over a pitifully small signing bonus. If they sign a hundred people, just one of them gaining traction would cover their costs. The real profit comes from suing the other ninety-nine for breach of contract.”

Seeing her on the verge of a complete emotional breakdown, Luis put on an act of ignorance and said with a laugh, ”It’s just the same old story, really. You’re not a fool, Big Sister; you definitely wouldn’t be tricked by something like that.”

”But, Brother-in-law,” Nancy asked, her voice trembling, on the brink of collapse, ”if you’re the defendant, the worst that should happen is you pay money. How does it become paying with your body?”

”If you can’t pay the compensation, it’s either forced enforcement or you sign a new contract under their terms for a... different kind of settlement.”

Luis said it all very casually. ”By that point, they’ll tell you to sleep with whoever they want. What does being an ’internet celebrity’ matter then? It’s just a fancy price tag for a prostitute.”

”The moment you sign, those clauses become active.”

Nancy felt her breathing grow uneven, coming in short, panicked gasps. ”You said yourself they’re predatory clauses,” she pressed urgently, ”so they must be illegal, right? There has to be a way to fight them.”

”There is!”

Luis said cheerfully. ”If your family situation is decent and you can scrape together the cash, the two of us could just dig in and fight a drawn-out, messy legal battle. Spending tens of thousands on lawyer fees would make it meaningless for them.”

”With lawsuits, if they run into a stubborn defendant who’s willing to drag it out, even with their in-house legal team, they can’t afford the drain on resources. At most, they’d settle for another mediation.”

”I’m going to go lie down for a bit!”

He knew exactly what was happening, yet pretending to be clueless was deeply immoral, but it was also incredibly, perversely thrilling.

Luis smiled and said, ”Big Sister, don’t overthink it. It’s your friend who got scammed; she’ll find her own way out. Given Nova Media’s reputation, she’ll probably be selling herself soon enough anyway.”

”The important thing is that you didn’t get tricked. Just remember to stay far away from all this.”

With that, Luis went upstairs first, leaving Nancy standing there, her face pale and unsettled, her mind racing with chaotic, fearful thoughts.

----

The next day, Nancy arrived at Nova Media early in the morning as agreed. Anglo’s secretary led her to a secluded room.

Anglo and two other executives, a man and a woman, sat across from her. The woman looked over the documents and spoke first. ”You’re Nancy, correct? The measurements you provided should be accurate, yes?”

”They are!”

Nancy sat there, her heart pounding with anxiety.

Though Anglo and the male executive tried to maintain serious, professional demeanors, the lecherous hunger in their eyes was poorly hidden. They stared at her as if they wanted to devour her whole.

”Alright then, go behind the curtain and remove your clothing. We need to verify your proportions.”

The woman said it lightly, as if it were the most normal request in the world.

Nancy’s delicate brows furrowed. ”You... want me to what??”

”This is simply part of the procedure.”

Anglo also adopted a stern, official tone. ”Doctors examine patients’ bodies every day. Which patients get shy about it?”

The other man chimed in impatiently, ”Hurry up. Our time is limited. This is all stipulated in the contract, you know.”

Hearing that, Nancy hesitated, but finally walked behind the curtain. She took a deep, shaky breath and took off her dress.

She was wearing a set of black lace lingerie today. The style wasn’t overly revealing, but on her, it was exquisitely sexy, perfectly highlighting her devilishly proportioned, breathtaking curves while still tactfully concealing the most intimate areas.

Summoning her courage, Nancy walked out in her underwear. Before the woman could even speak,

Anglo frowned first, tapping his pen on the table. ”Why are you still wearing underwear? How are we supposed to know if you’re wearing padding or something?”

The other man glanced at her file, his tone dripping with impatience. ”According to your file, you’re married. You’re not some blushing virgin anymore, so why the prudish act?”

”Exactly. If it weren’t for your exceptional potential and raw material, the fact that you’re married would have been enough to disqualify you immediately,” Anglo said bluntly, his voice harsh.

”Do you think milf is some trending niche? Have you been watching too much porn? The traffic algorithms favor youth, innocence, and slender figures these days.”

They expressed their displeasure without any pretense of courtesy. The female executive joined in, saying, ”Stop wasting our time. If you don’t take everything off, how are we supposed to take your measurements properly?”

A hint of menace flickered across Anglo’s face. ”Nancy, once you become a streamer, the outfits we provide will be custom-tailored. This initial fitting is a critically important step.”

Nancy gritted her teeth. ”But you didn’t explain this clearly yesterday.”

Anglo looked utterly unconcerned, a picture of arrogant confidence. ”What a joke. Do they give you a detailed breakdown of undressing for a physical exam?”

At this point, the female executive adopted a tone of utter exasperation. ”Director Anglo, if she’s going to be this uncooperative, I have other matters to attend to. Nobody has time to coddle her with a mountain of work waiting.”

Anglo’s eyes glinted with a threatening light. ”Nancy, you signed the contract.”

Nancy lowered her head and walked back behind the curtain. The three of them exchanged smug, silent smirks, believing they had won. But suddenly, the curtain swished open again—and Nancy hadn’t taken off her underwear. Instead, she had put her dress back on.

”Nancy! What is the meaning of this?!” Anglo’s face instantly darkened.

Nancy walked over, took eight hundred dollars from her bag, and slammed it down on the table, her expression cold and furious. ”I came here looking for a job, not to prostitute myself. You offer peanuts, expect me to work, and then demand to see my body? What kind of fools do you take me for?”

Anglo glanced at the money on the table and let out a cold, derisive laugh. ”Nancy, are you an idiot? The contract you signed is legally binding, in black and white. You think just returning the money settles this?”

”What else do you plan to do? I haven’t officially started working for you yet!”

Nancy spat the words out with contempt, turned on her heel, and strode out of the conference room.

”What do we do now?!”

”Damn it! She seemed so gullible yesterday. How did she suddenly get so shrewd?”

”Boss, Young Master Dener said he’s tired of little girls and wanted to try a married woman. It’s such a waste to let a premium piece like her get away!”

”Tell that punk Dener to get lost. He barely spends any money and yet makes so many demands. I had plans for that woman; I was going to get my hands on her and sell her for a high price!”

”What a pity. We’ve been running this operation for so long, and I think she’s the most beautiful one we’ve seen. Great body, and those legs... impossibly long. Just looking at them gets me going.”

”Absolutely. She’d make one hell of a ride.”

Anglo’s eyes were bloodshot, filled with furious resentment. The more he thought about it, the angrier he got. ”Goddamn it! The contract is signed! Does she think I’m stupid?! Contact the lawyer, now! Spend whatever it takes, pull strings, get the case filed and before a judge immediately!”

”If she doesn’t pay me a hefty sum, I will make sure her life is a living hell!”

Nancy, her mind reeling and her expression dazed, had just stepped out of the elevator when someone suddenly grabbed her arm. She jumped in fright, thinking Anglo had sent someone after her. A scream was just rising in her throat when a strong, familiar hand clamped over her mouth.

An arm wrapped around her waist, pulling her swiftly into the fire escape stairwell. A familiar voice sounded in her ear, low and urgent, ”Big Sister, don’t scream. It’s me.”

Feeling the tall, devilish curves of his sister-in-law pressed against him, Luis couldn’t control the immediate, hardening reaction it provoked. But worried about ruining his image, he deliberately maintained a slight distance, not taking any further advantage.

As he spoke, he loosened his grip. Nancy let out a long, shuddering breath, then swatted at his arm. ”What are you doing here? You scared me to death!”

”Big Sister, I was worried about you!” Luis explained. ”I got my iPad back last night, and it was full of search history about this stuff. I immediately knew something must have happened to you.”

”This... Ugh!”

”Let’s talk about it at home.”
