Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

”Tong Jie, what’s wrong?” The driver was driving smoothly, but suddenly asked him to stop and turn around, he hurriedly asked.

”You don’t worry about it. I told you to stop and turn around!” Luo Tong urgently repeated.

”There’s no way to stop here, if you want to turn around, you have to go to the intersection ahead.” The driver said.

”Then hurry up, don’t dawdle!”

”Okay, Tong Jie!”

By the time the car turned around and reached the intersection, Ning Chenguang and He Yue were already gone.

”Tong Jie, where are we going?”

”Keep going straight.” Luo Tong commanded.

”Alright.”

Ning Chenguang rode the bike forward with He Yue. An Hao had chosen a very good high school for He Yue in the city—School Nine.

However, the only downside is that it’s too far from the compound and taking a bus isn’t very convenient, so riding a bike is a bit easier.

Seeing that it was getting late, nearly time for school, Ning Chenguang pedaled fast.

Sitting on the back seat, He Yue gently wrapped her arms around Ning Chenguang’s waist. The morning breeze whistled past her ear, lifting her long hair and slipping into her collar, feeling quite pleasant.

She closed her eyes, enjoying the slightly intoxicating morning wind, her troubled mood over the past days momentarily relaxed and at peace.

Suddenly, the bike lurched to a stop, and He Yue’s body uncontrollably lunged forward, crashing heavily against Ning Chenguang’s body, her soft chest pressing tightly against his back.

”Can you even drive?” Ning Chenguang squeezed the brake lever, supported himself with his toes, and turned to look inside the car window.

His handsome brows furrowed tightly, his eyes filled with discontent.

They were riding on the pedestrian walkway smoothly, when suddenly this car came out of nowhere, rushing from the driving lane onto their pedestrian path.

What’s worse is that this black sedan kept pressing closer to them, and if they continued forward, they would definitely collide. Ning Chenguang decisively slammed on the brakes and stopped.

Unexpectedly, that car stopped too, right next to them.

”Sorry! I’m sorry!” The driver lowered the window and hurriedly apologized, ”It wasn’t intentional, please forgive me!”

”Who would believe what you say? Who are you trying to convince you didn’t do it on purpose?” Ning Chenguang didn’t believe him at all. Even a beginner driver would absolutely not do something like this.

”It’s not his fault.” A woman’s voice came from the back seat, and the window slowly lowered, revealing a woman’s exquisite face, her makeup was intricate, looking slightly heavy, even carrying a hint of a streetwise vibe, ”I told him to do it.”

”Do I have any grudge against you? Why did you do it?” Ning Chenguang squinted as he looked at Luo Tong, guessing her motives.

A trace of surprise flashed in Luo Tong’s eyes; he didn’t recognize her at all.

In his impression, she was completely erased.

”You forgot me?” Luo Tong felt a slight tightness in her chest. After all these years, she could still recognize him at a glance in the crowd.

But he was looking at her as if she were a complete stranger.

As if they had never known each other.

”Do I know you?” Ning Chenguang asked indifferently, with not even a hint of doubt in his tone.

Luo Tong’s red lips lifted slightly, her smile carrying a complex emotion, ”We know each other. Once!”
