“They’re waiting for me to come out of seclusion…” Yu Zi Yu’s corners of his lips slowly rose, tracing a subtle, meaningful curve.

[Now that I thought about it, seclusion isn’t necessarily bad! At the very least, I’m not in a hurry, but the Myriad Races certainly are!]

“Haha…” Chuckling to himself, Yu Zi Yu began giving instructions, “Pass on the message that I’ve already emerged from seclusion. Oh, and remember to remind them, my retreat was to heal my injuries. My condition has improved quite well. Please thank everyone for their concern.”

“Yes, Master,” Ling Er readily accepted the task, a faint smile tugging the corner of her lips.

[Even now, Master hasn’t forgotten to cast his net of deception!

He was never injured to begin with; that entire display was nothing more than a smokescreen. And by the looks of it, his foresight is truly terrifying; he’s already using ‘recovery’ as the perfect pretext for his seclusion.]

“Is it just my imagination… or ever since encountering Myriad Races, Master has been constantly scheming…?” Ling Er couldn’t help but wonder, filled with doubt and surprise.

After she withdrew, Yu Zi Yu began carefully reviewing everything that had transpired over the past twenty-odd years.

Not long after, the faint smile returned to his lips.

[Thankfully, the universe has not slipped beyond my controls!]

Two decades might be a long period for mortals, half a lifetime perhaps, but for the Myriad Races of the cosmos, it was little more than the blink of an eye.

As such, nothing truly earth-shattering had occurred.

That said, there were still a few matters worth noting.

The Dragon Clan and the Phoenix Clan both seemed to have produced several new Half-Step Hegemons.

Meanwhile, within the Buddhist Sect, a Tier-6 Buddha had passed away.

It was said that he had suffered grievous injuries while resisting the Void invasion… injuries so severe that even after two decades of recuperation, he had failed to recover.

However, even that wasn’t what truly caught Yu Zi Yu’s attention.

What made his gaze flicker was…

“The King of Gods forcibly attempted to break through to theTier-7… and was annihilated under the Heavenly Tribulation, leaving behind only a single divine eye that wasn’t reduced to ashes…” murmuring softly, Yu Zi Yu’s eyes involuntarily shimmered.

He had met the King of Gods a few times.

The first time had been during the siege of the Heaven-Connecting Divine Tree, when Yu Zi Yu, wearing the mantle of the Demon Emperor, had crushed him so thoroughly he could barely breathe.

The second time was when Yu Zi Yu, wearing the mantle of Soaring Purple Dragon, launched a massive invasion of the Gods, forcing the King of Gods to deploy the Genesis Star Chart.

Given that, it was easy to imagine why that man had been desperate to break through to Tier-7.

He had no choice but to break through.

He had suffered humiliation back to back.

As the King of Gods, he might not have spoken of it openly, but his heart must have long been seething with rage.

So, he was anxious.

Of course, it was also possible that using the Genesis Star Chart had damaged his foundation. If he failed to break through now, he might never have another chance.

Regardless of the reason, one fact was now set in stone: He had perished.

The Gods were leaderless.

With a faint smile, Yu Zi Yu could already envision the chaos to come.

With a King of Gods present, the Gods could still be held in check.

Without one, internal strife was inevitable.

Especially the God of Light, Balthazar, whom Yu Zi Yu had encountered before; he was ambitious to the core.

Yu Zi Yu had no doubt that Balthazar would soon attempt to dominate the entire God Race, perhaps even suppressing the Godking Lineage outright.

And Yu Zi Yu had no intention of intervening in such developments. On the contrary, he was more than happy to watch the spectacle unfold. The chaos within the God Race would only benefit him.

Besides, affairs of other Races were not something he wished to meddle in.

“Looks like quite a few interesting things happened during my twenty-odd years of seclusion.”

With a light chuckle, Yu Zi Yu stopped turning the pages.

“Yes, Master,” Golden Ant at his side responded, adding, “During these twenty years, Sister Ling Er’s auction house has also been fully perfected. Now, a small auction is held every five years, and a large auction every ten. Everything is running smoothly and in perfect order…”

“Mhmm…” Satisfied, Yu Zi Yu nodded slightly.

When it came to Ling Er’s abilities, he had always been at ease.

That being the case, there no longer seemed to be much reason for him to remain on Planet Celestus.

As for the Myriad Races Alliance, which he cared about most…

*Heh heh…*

Yu Zi Yu couldn’t help but chuckle to himself; he felt completely at ease.

Because over these past twenty years, the framework of the Myriad Races Alliance had already truly taken shape. All that remained was for him to emerge.

And now he has!

The position of Leader of the Myriad Races Alliance was practically already in his hands.

However, he was in no rush.

At the very least, he could not afford to appear overly eager.

Ideally, it would be best if others invited him onto the throne of Alliance Leader themselves.

And about that, Yu Zi Yu had his own expectations.

“Even if it’s just to curry favor, that old fellow from the Buddhist Sect will take the initiative to invite me,” murmuring to himself, Yu Zi Yu turned his gaze toward Golden Ant not far away. “Do you still intend to stay here and guard this place?”

“What does Master mean?” Golden Ant asked, a hint of surprise crossing his face.

“I’m preparing to return to the Demon Court. If you’re willing, you can come back with me. As for Planet Celestus, I can assign Sarcosuchus or Slytherin to guard it…”

Planet Celestus was the heart of the cosmos; it could not be lost. Having a powerful guardian stationed here was indispensable. And that guardian had to be someone Yu Zi Yu trusted completely.

Sarcosuchus or Slytherin were both suitable choices.

“Master, please allow me to stay here. I’ve grown accustomed to this place. Just have Fourth Brother and the others come check on me from time to time.”

“You…”

Letting out a soft sigh, Yu Zi Yu understood Golden Ant’s meaning.

This little fellow might appear aloof on the surface, but deep down, he cared deeply for Sarcosuchus and the others. He did not wish to drag them into this whirlpool of intrigue.

As for why Planet Celestus was considered a land of trouble? The reason was obvious. Compared to the Demon Court, Planet Celestus was home to countless Races, a chaotic mix of all kinds.

More importantly, powerful figures emerged in droves here.

Who knew when some unknown powerhouse might suddenly rise from Planet Celestus?

So compared to the Demon Court, Planet Celestus truly was a place rife with conflict.

Shaking his head helplessly, Yu Zi Yu did not try to persuade him further.

Since Golden Ant was determined to stay, so be it.

After all, his strength was not weak.

With that thought, he bid a brief farewell and took a step toward outer space.

*Boooooom…* As he took a step, space and time distorted around him, and Yu Zi Yu transformed into a Heaven-piercing rainbow of light, disappearing into the horizon.

Leaving behind one powerhouse after another, standing there in a daze, staring into the stars.

…

“The Demon Emperor… has already left, hasn’t he?” A soft sigh drifted from within a pavilion, where a young woman sat idly, gazing blankly at the Starry Sky.

“Most likely. Only the Demon Emperor could produce such a terrifying display.”

Hearing the Elder’s reply beside her, Ni Shang could not help but purse her lips, a trace of regret appearing on her face.

“If that’s the case, then there’s no reason for me to remain on Planet Celestus either… Let’s go back to the Clan.”

As her words fell, Ni Shang transformed into a streak of brilliant light and shot off from Planet Celestus.

And she was not the only one.

*Whoosh, whoosh…*

One streak of light after another disappeared into the horizon as many powerhouses of Planet Celestus, seeing that the Demon Emperor had departed, chose to leave of their own accord.
