Chapter 486: Chapter 220: A Small Plan! You Have to Take Responsibility for Me!_2

”I also understand that this matter may seem quite sudden, so if Patriarch Su has any doubts now, you can bring them up directly. If the issue can be resolved, I still hope we can resolve it quickly.”

”I truly believe that our cooperation will be very pleasant, no matter if it’s me personally or your family, this will lead to excellent development prospects.”

To solve a problem, first solve the one who raises it... no, it’s to first understand what the specific issue is. In the current situation, Yuchi needs Su Ruyi to directly express her thoughts. These matters should be addressed thoughtfully and gradually, as arrogance won’t solve problems.

And Su Qifang, standing behind Su Ruyi, upon hearing Yuchi’s words, could hardly hold back her laughter: Our Patriarch has already asked in such a manner, and you’re still saying things like this? What do you want? Young man, are you playing for real? Sorry, sisters are just having a bit of fun, young man, don’t take it seriously.

Su Ruyi felt compelled, as she looked carefully at the young man in front of her, holding her gaze for one or two breaths.

She could simply walk away, but if she really does that, it would be too hasty. After all, from the beginning till now, the performance of the other side has been without issue, and there hasn’t been any oppression. If she were to turn hostile just because of a few words, she wouldn’t be much of a Patriarch.

Alright then.

She could only speak properly, hoping the other party would back down and not make things ugly, else it’d be bad.

To the point.

Su Ruyi began to speak: ”Let’s address things step by step. I personally feel it is difficult for us to cooperate with you. Please don’t take offense; we also have our perspectives. It’s not personal, just purely from a business standpoint.”

Yuchi nodded: ”Please go on, Patriarch Su.”

”Hmm, what our Su Family produces is not ordinary cloth. Now, regardless of the quality of this cloth, purely from a price point of view, this cloth is extremely expensive, so there’s no way to supply it in large quantities; ordinary people cannot afford it.”

”And the chamber of commerce deals in the volume of clothing sales, and the profits aren’t exceedingly high. So, if you take our family’s cloth hoping to push it through the influence of the chamber, even if some might think the clothing quality is excellent, the sales quantity is fundamentally too low.”

”Without quantity, there’s no foundation for cooperation. Initially, you might not see it as a problem, maybe just a bit of inventory, but over time, as we provide more stock, it becomes detrimental to both of us.”

Su Ruyi finished speaking, and after speaking, she carefully observed Yuchi’s facial expression. She thought Yuchi might have some reaction, maybe not ranting or pondering deeply, but at least some basic resistance, right?

Although she hadn’t spoken bluntly, the message was clear: the chamber of commerce doesn’t match our family standards. It’s almost as if it’s written in black and white; can’t you understand that? If not, then your role as president, climbing up by selling flowers, is really lamentable.

”So, does Patriarch Su mean the chamber of commerce isn’t worthy of your Su Family’s cloth?” Yuchi said with a smile.

Su Ruyi: Shocked!

What does this young president mean? I only thought it to myself; I didn’t explicitly say it. And is it really necessary to state such words so plainly on the table? Shouldn’t you be going around in circles with my side, offering all kinds of sophistry? You directly open the skylight and speak the truth?

Su Qifang was even more at a loss about what Yuchi meant. She glanced at the woman in front of her, who turned to look at her as well, both showing a bit of confusion.

What exactly is the other party trying to convey? To say such words, are they just beginning to find fault?

If indeed so, then it’s no concern to us.

Su Ruyi calmed herself, with an apologetic tone: ”Although it’s not that we look down on the chamber, if President Yuchi truly feels this way, we really have no way.”

Isn’t it so? I just said we’re not suitable, and you claim you’re undeserving of me, what am I supposed to do? It’s your own doing, embarrassing yourself.

”Hmm, I understood what you meant, Patriarch Su, but there’s a misunderstanding.” Yuchi said with a smile.

”A misunderstanding?” Su Ruyi was puzzled.

”It’s like this.”

Yuchi stood up and walked over to Su Ruyi’s side, while pouring tea with the other hand, he said with a smile: ”First, I acknowledge that the chamber of commerce’s business is incompatible with yours; you have your business model, and we have ours, with entirely different target audiences.”

”There’s no high or low status involved, but precisely because of this, we cannot integrate.”

”All these are understandable, and I, Mr. Yuchi, have no anger over such apparent things. Business for business, discussing matters as they stand.”
