”Sex,” Sol whispered, leaning closer until his lips grazed the sensitive skin of her neck ”is when a man puts this... his cock... inside a woman’s pussy.”

With his left hand, Sol reached lower, slipping his fingers between her parted thighs. He brushed lightly through the soft, soaked curls of hair at her mound, tracing the slick, swollen outer lips of her core.

As he spoke, his other hand slid down the wet plane of her stomach, over the soft dark curls, and cupped her fully between the legs.

He pressed his palm against the plump, slightly bushy outer lips of her pussy, letting her feel exactly what he was naming.

The heat of her pussy against his hand was already noticeable despite the cold water.

”Here,” he continued, rubbing slowly, deliberately, so there could be no misunderstanding. Of course it was mostly because he couldn’t resist it. ”This is a woman’s pussy. When a man puts his cock inside it and moves... that is fucking. That is sex.”

Veylara’s breath hitched in her throat. Her eyes went completely wide, her mouth falling open in utter shock. For a while, she sat frozen on his lap.

Her breathing had gone shallow.

The hand still wrapped around his cock had not pulled away, but it was no longer moving... just holding, as if her mind had not yet caught up with the new information her body was receiving. When she finally spoke, the word came out thin with disbelief.

”W-What?” she stammered, turning around to see his face, fearing that he was joking. There was no performance in her reaction. No coyness. No lingering attempt to maintain superiority.

Only genuine, stunned incomprehension. She truly had not known and her voice trembling in a way he had never heard before. ”Inside? All of that... inside of me?”

Seeing her genuine, deer-in-the-headlights shock, Sol knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that she wasn’t playing coy.

The now supreme ruler of the northern territories was utterly, completely ignorant of how intercourse actually worked.

”Yes, inside,” Sol said, unable to hide the wry amusement in his tone.

”B-But... why would anyone do it like that?!” Veylara asked, her tone laced with frantic bewilderment. ”It looks... impossible! It would tear right through!”

Sol chuckled dryly against her shoulder, shrugging his shoulders, even as his hand continued its slow, instructive pressure between her legs, fingers stroking through the soft dark curls and along the plump outer lips.

”How should I know why? That’s just the way we were made. If you want to lodge a complaint about the design, go find whatever god or ancestral spirit carved our bodies and ask them. But that’s how it’s done.”

Veylara sat frozen on his lap, her mind visibly spinning as she tried to reconcile this wild, anatomical revelation with everything she thought she knew.

While the shock of the explanation was still settling through her, Sol asked the question that had been burning at the back of his mind since the realization first hit.

He couldn’t hold it in any longer.

”Veylara,” Sol murmured, his tone shifting into genuine curiosity. ”If you didn’t even know what sex was... how did you have Kira? Conception requires a man and a woman. You had to have done it at least once.”

Veylara hesitated for several long heartbeats. The water swam around their legs gently as she looked down at the surface, her expression clouding with distant, complicated memories.

”It was after the war of succession,” she began softly, the shame slowly giving way to the cold, pragmatic truth of her past. ”I had fought my way to the top of the clan. I even killed my half-brothers. But the elders at that time were traditionalists.

Of course, they didn’t had guts to oppose me, but they refused to acknowledge me, unless I secured the next generation. They demanded an heir to prove the line wouldn’t die with me.”

”So what did you do?” Sol asked, even though he already knew the answer.

”I refused to take a mate,” Veylara stated, a hint of her fierce, untouchable pride resurfacing. ”I was stronger than every man in the tribe.

Even though I didn’t know what Sex was, I saw that it was always men dominating the women. The thought of submitting to one of them, of letting some arrogant warrior claim authority over my dwelling, disgusted me.

And a friend had told me that to create a child only required the white seed of a strong man placed here.”

She glanced down, then lifted the hand that was not wrapped around his cock and pointed... somewhat stiffly... toward the place where Sol’s other hand still cupped her pussy.

”So, I simply selected the strongest Layer 3 warrior in our tribe at the time. I summoned him to my private quarters, ordered him to produce his seed into a stone bowl.”

Sol’s eyebrows shot up beneath his bangs. He had to suppress the urge to laugh out loud at the mental image.

”And he just did it?” Sol asked.

” Of course, at that time I was already a Layer 3, and he was terrified of me,” Veylara replied matter-of-factly. ”I had just butchered several Layer 3 warriors. If I ordered him to bleed into a bowl, he would have done that too. He came back later and placed the bowl with his seeds on the pedestal, and fled my quarters without looking back.”

She let out a soft, self-conscious breath. ”Once he was gone... I took the bowl. I used my own fingers to push the seed deep inside myself. Within three moons, my belly began to swell with Kira. I assumed... that was how conception was always handled and how everyone did it.”

”What happened to the warrior?” Sol asked, genuinely fascinated by the sheer absurdity of the tale.

Veylara gave a careless, dismissive shrug. ”He died in the Great Orrath a few days later due to a failed hunting raid.”

Sol was completely speechless.

The poor bastard had almost certainly been so intimidated by her status, her Layer 3 strength, and the sheer force of her personality that he had simply done exactly as ordered... produced what was required, handed it over, and never once attempted to cross the line she had not invited him across.

Then the jungle had taken him before any further complications could arise.

”Didn’t your parents ever teach you anything about this?” Sol asked gently after a moment.
