Chapter 320: Chapter 320: Morning Wood

He stepped closer, crowding into her space until she was forced back against the stone washbasin, closing the gap until the head of his cock was knocking against her flat tummy.

“And why are you feeling so embarrassed now, Kira? Did you forget who was shouting for me to push deeper? Did you forget who was begging for me to keep going?”

Hearing this, she got even more embarrassed, the fierce Warchief’s daughter reduced to a stuttering mess for a fraction of a second. “Aaaaahhhhh! Stop!” Kira cried out, her other hand flying up to try and cover his mouth, her eyes squeezed shut in a desperate attempt to block out the memory. “Stop talking about last night! That was… that was the dark! The ghosts were talking! I was… I was emotionally compromised!”

But Sol was taller, his reach longer, and currently much more motivated. So he swiftly caught her wrists, his grip firm but gentle, pinning them together above her head with one hand, while the other gripped her waist, his fingers sinking into the soft flesh of her hip.

.”What is there to be embarrassed about?” Sol asked, his voice dropping to a low, intimate frequency that vibrated through her entire body. ” Isn’t it all nature? The predators hunt, the fire burns, and we… we do this.”

He pulled her in, his erecting cock knocking firmly against her tummy, the physical contact sending a jolt of pure lightning through her system. He kissed her again, this time more deeply, , his tongue exploring her mouth with a slow, possessive confidence that left her gasping.

Kira’s resolve, which was already thin, shattered completely. She stopped trying to pull her hands away, her fingers instead curling around his wrists as she leaned into the kiss, her body instinctively arching toward his warmth.

The feeling of his erecting cock knocking against her stomach was a rhythmic promise of the passion to come. He felt her resolve crumble, her body softening against his. They were two different souls, two different worlds, but in the heat of his embrace, the boundaries were starting to blur.

Sol didn’t give her a chance to overthink it. Without breaking the kiss, he swept his arm under her knees and picked her up, his strength making her lithe, athletic body feel as light as a bundle of dry kindling. He turned and moved back toward the bed, the massive pile of furs still warm from their shared heat.

Kira let out a sharp, startled yelp into his mouth as she was suddenly airborne. She wrapped her legs instinctively around his waist, her arms locking around his neck.

“Sol, wait!” she protested, her voice weak as he released her mouth. “I-i just washed up! And wasn’t last night enough for you? You’re like a starving beast, Sol! Don’t you ever get satiated?”

Sol smirked as he reached the edge of the bed and dropped her onto the white pelts, the feathers puffing up around her bruised, beautiful form and looked down at her. The morning light caught the fierce determination in his eyes and the soft, vulnerable flush on her face.

“Of course not,” Sol smirked, his voice laced with a raw, masculine satisfaction. “That was last night. Today is a different day, with its own hunger.

He hovered over her, his knees sinking into the furs on either side of her hips. “And don’t you know? Boys are always more energetic after waking up. It’s a biological imperative, Kira.”

He leaned down, his face inches from hers, his silver-crimson eyes scanning the beautiful mosaic of marks he had left on her throat and breasts. “And honestly, it’s your fault for being naked in front of me. It’s your fault for being so damn beautiful. You’re a Spirit Warrior… you should know better than to leave a predator with an open target. And honestly, you can’t blame a predator for reacting to the most enticing thing in the jungle.”

Kira was speechless, her mouth hanging open as she searched for a comeback that wouldn’t come. The fierce, tactical mind of the elite warrior had been entirely short-circuited by the raw, unchained carnal intent radiating from the man above her.

She looked at his serious profile, the way his silver-crimson eyes held her with such absolute devotion, and her heart skipped a beat.

“You’re infuriating,” she whispered, her hands tangling in his dark hair as she pulled his head down for another kiss. “Utterly infuriating.”

Sol didn’t reply. He jumped on her and pinned her into the furs, his hands sliding down to grip her thighs and pull them wide, and before the birds outside had even finished their morning chorus, he was diving headfirst into another round of absolute, unshielded sex.

…

The sunlight was stronger now, cutting through the gaps in the wood and painting long, golden stripes across the room. The air was growing warmer, and the sounds of the tribe below were increasing… the rhythmic clanging of wood chopping, the shouting of commands, and the distant hum of the forest.

But inside the room, time had stalled.

Sol moved with a slow, deliberate pace that was entirely different from the frantic, desperate hunger of the night before. Last night had been about survival… about burning out the fear and the guilt. This morning was about pure, deep indulgence.

He stayed in control, his strength allowing him to lift her, turn her, and guide her with an effortless grace that left Kira dazed. He worshipped the scars she had pointed out earlier, his mouth finding the jagged ridge on her shoulder and the starburst on her ribs, his tongue tracing the history of her pain with a reverence that made her eyes fill with fresh, happy tears.

Sol’s hands slid up to cup her face, his thumbs wiping away the tears of ecstasy tracking down her cheeks.

“Sol…” she gasped, her hands clutching the furs as he moved over her. “We… we really have to… stop soon.”

“Soon,” Sol promised, his voice a low, vibrating thread as he buried his face in the crook of her neck.
