The Sword God of the Universe

Chapter 2084: Guiding Immortal Spirit

This is a vast purple sea of thunder, exuding a tremendous aura of power!

It stretches endlessly, and as one goes deeper, the rolling thunder becomes denser. In this realm of chaos, this place is known as the Purple Thunder Forbidden Zone.

Even title holders dare not tread lightly.

The thunder in the Purple Thunder Forbidden Zone is no ordinary manifestation. Within chaos, ordinary beings can comprehend the Dao of Thunder and Lightning, and many can directly manipulate thunder. Yet, the power of thunder in chaos pales in comparison to the thunder light of the Purple Thunder Forbidden Zone by a significant margin.

This place poses a mortal danger even to title holders equipped with top-notch chaotic level defensive treasures.

Jing Yan, accompanying Yihua Palace Master, flew slowly within the thunder light. The thunder resounded powerfully, but when approaching the two of them, it automatically avoided them.

Numerous dangers lie hidden within the Purple Thunder Forbidden Zone, but to Jing Yan, these dangers do not exist. After all, the Purple Thunder Forbidden Zone is still a place within chaos, where the supreme rule can nearly alter everything. If Jing Yan desired, he could even make this sea of thunder vanish.

Having personally descended here, the purple thunder cannot attack him.

The Purple Thunder Forbidden Zone is vast; the two continued flying deeper.

Half a month later.

Jing Yan stopped, eyes fixed forward. A mountain loomed ahead. This mountain was peculiar as well, typically mountains are narrow at the top and wide at the bottom, but this one is the opposite.

The peak is so high that even Jing Yan couldn’t determine its exact height. Jing Yan’s divine thought, once probing upwards to a certain extent, could no longer penetrate.

The entire mountain was surrounded by purple thunder.

”Yihua Palace Master, are you ready?” Jing Yan turned to look at Yihua Palace Master and asked.

”Ready!” the Yihua Palace Master responded.

”Then, let’s climb,” Jing Yan nodded.

Even Jing Yan didn’t know what lay above the mountain, so ascending might involve unknown dangers.

Their silhouettes climbed swiftly. Despite the mountain’s strange shape, neither Jing Yan nor Yihua Palace Master found it difficult to scale.

The mountain’s surface also exerted a strong gravity.

”The main body of this mountain isn’t of ordinary rock, but feels incredibly resilient, almost like a single entity,” Yihua Palace Master remarked with furrowed brows.

”Indeed, it is a single entity. Upon arriving here, I’ve realized it’s not a mountain at all, but rather a secret treasure that has been refined,” Jing Yan said.

”A secret treasure? Is this... a treasure?” Yihua Palace Master’s beautiful eyes widened in disbelief.

”If I’m not mistaken, it truly is a refined treasure. Clearly, its power is incredibly formidable, unmatched by any other treasures within chaos,” Jing Yan squinted.

Jing Yan was also excited. Before arriving at the Purple Thunder Forbidden Zone, even he couldn’t discern that the deepest mountain would be a refined artifact.

He wondered what kind of existence could wield such a treasure, and why it was left here, unattended?

Some old legends suggest that since this chaos was born, the Purple Thunder Forbidden Zone existed. Now, it seems, all the thunder within is generated by this treasure. from chaos’ birth, this treasure was placed here.

Jing Yan couldn’t fathom what kind of existence its owner could be.

Three days later, the duo reached the summit. On the top was an enormous platform.

Looking ahead, they saw a grey region. There were no chaos barriers. Divine power or divine thought directed upwards vanished without a trace. The grey region seemed like a void, capable of devouring everything.

”Boom!”

As Jing Yan and Yihua Palace Master surveyed the surroundings, a formidable pressure suddenly descended.

A luminous shadow emerged.

”Two young ones, are you headed for the Mixed Element Immortal Domain?” a voice emerged from the shadow.

Jing Yan and Yihua Palace Master stared at the shadow in astonishment.

Mixed Element Immortal Domain? Going to the Mixed Element Immortal Domain?

This was the first time Jing Yan had heard the name, and certainly, Yihua Palace Master hadn’t either.

”Who are you?” Jing Yan asked, instead of answering the question.

”Me? I am the Guiding Immortal Spirit!” the shadow responded.

”Are you two young ones going to the Mixed Element Immortal Domain?” the shadow, calling itself the Guiding Immortal Spirit, asked again.

”What is the Mixed Element Immortal Domain? Otherworldly chaos?” Jing Yan inquired.

”I can see that explanation is needed!” the Guiding Immortal Spirit shook its head, seemingly reluctant to elaborate but feeling obliged to explain to those arriving there.

”Your chaos is simply a chaos world. This chaos world was created by the Thunder Emperor. When you mention otherworldly chaos, you probably refer to other chaos worlds. The Mixed Element Immortal Domain is a primordial chaos world. The chaos world cannot birth an Immortal Emperor, but the primordial chaos world can.”

”An Immortal Emperor, supreme and unparalleled!”

”An Immortal Emperor transcends Dao skill!”

”Ascend to Immortal Emperor, and one’s name is inscribed on the Chaotic Primordial Golden List!”

”Young one, do you understand?” the Guiding Immortal Spirit asked slowly.

Jing Yan still felt confused.

Yihua Palace Master was utterly baffled. However, her purpose there was not the Mixed Element Immortal Domain, but to find out why the East Emperor God disappeared.

Seeing Yihua Palace Master’s gaze, Jing Yan understood her thinking.

”We are here to find a life form who arrived two hundred billion years ago named the East Emperor God,” Jing Yan said.

”You’re not going to the Mixed Element Immortal Domain? Heh, reaching here signifies you have some capability. But if you are not going there, be quick to depart! As for the East Emperor God you mentioned, two hundred billion years ago? Let me think...”

”Hmm, indeed, a young one did reach here. He wanted to go to the Mixed Element Immortal Domain but ultimately failed and died here,” the Guiding Immortal Spirit responded casually.

Then, as if waving lightly.

The scene before Jing Yan and Yihua Palace Master transformed instantly, as if a world opened up before them. They could see inside that world. Inside, there was a giant statue, and before it sat a figure cross-legged. On closer inspection, one could see that the figure had been dead for a long time, with no signs of life.

”East Emperor...” Yihua Palace Master cried out in surprise, tears falling.

Seeing Yihua Palace Master’s expression, Jing Yan realized that the skeleton, dead for eons, still sitting cross-legged, must be the East Emperor God who disappeared billions of years ago.
