The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 825: Chapter 825: If He Dies

It must be said, Xia Ji is extremely intelligent. She has a grasp on human nature, including the ability to observe the environment and analyze the overall situation, which is unparalleled.

At least among those present, not a single person can accurately guess Xia Ji’s thoughts.

Even Su Yu, who has always been cautious around Xia Ji, doesn’t have assured confidence when facing her. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have fallen into Xia Ji’s hands time and again over the years. Even if he managed to avoid Xia Ji’s most fatal strike with his abilities, to completely defeat Xia Ji remains uncertain.

So now, Xia Ji’s sudden move is seen by the crowd as her last desperate struggle. After all, at this moment, Xia Ji is already at her end, having no assurance of victory in this battle.

Only Su Yu, having suffered too many losses against Xia Ji, instinctively feels that she has another motive. So while everyone is fighting fiercely against Xia Ji and Ling Yue, his gaze is fixed on the Shengxue Pearl floating in the array.

At this time, Xia Ji is no longer a threat, but if she goes mad and breaks the Shengxue Pearl while they are unprepared, it’s likely they all would go down with her.

Therefore, Su Yu, taking advantage of the chaos, plans to approach the Shengxue Pearl and take it away, though breaking Xia Ji’s array requires effort.

Just as Su Yu is analyzing how to break the array Xia Ji set up above Tianqing Pool, Xia Ji, who had been battling the crowd, suddenly shifts and appears in the center of Tianqing Pool, launching a fiercely strike towards Su Yu. As Su Yu defends against the Red Silk Xia Ji threw at him just so, he misses the moment when Xia Ji slaps the Shengxue Pearl forcefully into Su Yu’s body.

Su Yu originally had no problem handling Xia Ji’s attack, especially since Xia Ji was heavily injured at this time. But even if Su Yu anticipated Xia Ji had other intentions, he thought Xia Ji would smash the Shengxue Pearl to perish together. Never did he expect Xia Ji would ruthlessly drive the Shengxue Pearl directly into his body, catching him entirely off guard, his body was suddenly hurled several meters and landed heavily on the ground.

At this moment, Xia Ji has also stopped.

Her fight just now had pushed her to the limit, at any moment, she could collapse.

But she definitely will not fall.

When everyone pauses, she is already on the other side of Tianqing Pool.

The Xia Clan is actually built on a nearly circular piece of land. When they came, the canyon they passed through was the entry point of the Xia Clan, where it connects to the outside world. Besides that short side, everywhere else leads to a deep abyss without an opposite shore.

Tianqing Pool is located on the westernmost mountain top outside Mengluo City, and on the other side of the pool is a bottomless abyss.

Right now, Xia Ji stands at the edge of that bottomless abyss.

”Do you really think I want to die with you all? Don’t kid yourself, on the road to the afterlife, I don’t want to see any of you at all. The Xia Clan’s people are forbidden to kill each other, see, I didn’t kill anyone. I merely put the Shengxue Pearl into his body; if he dies, it’s the Shengxue Pearl’s doing, not mine. So don’t, by any means, blame it on me.”
