Gardener of Eden

Chapter 135: Chapter 135: Royal Supply

Rowan stepped out onto the quiet, moonlit fields of Sunny Vale, feeling the cool night breeze sweep across the farm. Tipping back his Enchanted Straw Hat, he extended his palms toward the earth and channeled his core energy, activating [Breath of Eden - Lv. 3].

A sweeping wave of rich, emerald mana erupted beneath his boots, cascading across the topsoil to purge lingering impurities and flush the ground with concentrated vitality.

Walking down a freshly tilled section of the expanded acreage, Rowan unsealed a small pouch containing the saved cores from the mutated Sun-Crystalline Eden Apples and Amethyst-Gold Peaches.

He carefully planted them along the designated rows, pressing the nutrient-dense seeds deep into the soil. Grown in surface earth, these upcoming trees would yield crops of a lower mana purity compared to the divine domain originals; however, this commercial tier would be far more affordable for average citizens and local grocers, fulfilling Eden International’s goal to make high-purity produce accessible to everyone.

To jumpstart their development, Rowan summoned the Vessel of the Eternal Tide from his system inventory. The sea-blue mythical relic hummed warmly in his hands, its wave-patterned engravings flaring as it tapped into the non-diluted matrix of Primordial Life Liquid he had stored within its chamber.

Tipping the relic’s spout, Rowan swept a continuous, golden-blue mist across the entire property. The infinite primordial spring water rained down like a shimmering canopy, saturating every acre of soil.

Beneath the dark earth, the newly planted cores drank greedily, triggering immediate root activation, while the surrounding spirit-crops soaked up the divine essence. The entire farmland hummed with elevated life force, guaranteeing a massive, high-quality surge in growth by the time the sun rose over the homestead.

A pair of vibrant, gold-bordered System windows expanded across Rowan’s vision, flashing brightly in the quiet air of the farm:

The sheer backlog of experience from cultivating the [Domain: The Virgin Soil], nurturing the World Tree, and transforming the twenty-five acres of Sunny Vale had finally registered all at once. A warm, invigorating surge of core energy rushed through his mana circuits, washing away any lingering exhaustion and expanding his core capacity.

Rowan paused, staring at the translucent system interface with an amused smirk.

”I totally forgot about grinding my levels,” Rowan thought to himself.

While other academy prodigies and guild climbers risked their lives clearing dangerous dungeon bosses and monster hordes for incremental gains, his path as the Gardener of Eden was passively fueling his growth through raw creation and agricultural mastery.

Looking out over the lush, mist-covered fields of Sunny Vale, Rowan made a firm mental resolve. With the mutated crops thriving and his domain expanding, he decided to commit even more dedicated time to farming, gardening, and soil revitalization.

Pushing his agricultural output to the absolute limit would be his fastest route to reaching Level 20 and unlocking his Tier 2 Awakening.

Walking back into the quiet homestead from the mist-covered farmland, Rowan headed upstairs to his room. He washed away the dirt and cool night dew with a long, hot shower before changing into loose, comfortable clothes.

Drying his damp hair with a towel, he collapsed onto his bed, finally letting his body relax after a long day of harvests, storefront rushes, and late-night soil revitalization. Pulling out his phone, he leaned back against the headboard and unlocked the screen, curious to see how the realm was reacting to today’s events at Eden International.

The moment his social media feed loaded, his notifications overflowed into an absolute wall of viral activity. Clips and posts from Sunny Vale’s commercial district were trending at the very top of the regional network.

High-definition videos captured earlier that morning showed the packed storefront, the instant 10:00 AM sell-out, and the staggering A-grade mana purity readings coming from the runic display case.

Scroll after scroll featured emotional video reactions of the ten taste-testing winners. One clip showing Chef Cedric on his knees weeping tears of pure bliss after taking a single bite of the Amethyst-Gold Peach already had millions of views, with comment sections wildly debating whether any produce on the continent could rival such divine quality.

Other posts heavily praised Rowan’s announcement of the recurring weekly raffle, highlighting how Eden International was setting aside two full A-grade fruits every week so regular citizens could taste what was usually reserved for high noble houses. Posts tagged with #EdenInternational, #SunnyValeHarvest, and #DivineFruitRaffle flooded every major forum board.

Rowan chuckled quietly to himself, his thumb flicking past heartwarming messages from local townspeople expressing their gratitude. Seeing his family’s business thrive while bringing genuine joy and vitality to the community made every ounce of effort worth it. Setting his phone on the nightstand, he rested his hands behind his head and closed his eyes.

With his status now sitting comfortably at Level 12 and the newly planted cores soaking in primordial life liquid beneath the soil, he drifted off into a deep sleep, eager to push his agricultural grind toward Level 20 come sunrise.

Ring, ring—

The soft chime of his phone broke the quiet hum of his bedroom. Rowan glanced down at the glowing screen, raising an eyebrow when he saw Princess Lyra’s caller ID flashing on the display.

Swiping to accept, he brought the phone to his ear. ”Lyra?”

”Rowan, I shared the apple and peach with my parents at dinner, now they’re asking if we can get a regular supply from you,” Lyra’s voice came through the speaker, sounding breathless and slightly embarrassed. She quickly added, ”I’m sorry for troubling you this late at night.”

Rowan chuckled softly, leaning back against his pillows. Given that her parents were Emperor Aurelius and the Empress of the realm, it was no surprise that A-grade primordial fruit had turned heads at the imperial dining table.

”Sure,” Rowan replied smoothly, mentally running through his current domain yields, store vault requirements, and his mother’s daily intake for the baby. ”But I can only supply you seven apples and seven peaches every two weeks. We barely have enough for our store and personal use.”

On the other end of the line, Lyra let out a soft, relieved breath. Securing fourteen divine-tier fruits every fortnight was practically a monarch’s treasury in uncorrupted mana—far more than the royal court had dared hope for given Eden International’s extreme scarcity.

”That is more than fair, Rowan. The imperial house will gladly pay full price—plus a private retainer fee for priority delivery,” Lyra promised warmly. ”Thank you again... and rest well.”

”Goodnight, Lyra.”

Setting his phone back on the nightstand, Rowan let out a satisfied sigh, closed his eyes, and drifted off to sleep, knowing Eden International had just secured the Imperial Royal Family as its newest recurring customer.
