Succubus World - Start with Incubus System

In this world, men were incredibly precious.

Especially a man who had already become an Awakened. Even if his personality was bad, there were still countless Succubi willing to accept him.

Nathan had been doted on since childhood by his parents along with the women around him, so he didn’t feel there was any problem with his behavior at all.

He let go of the black-haired Succubus’s waist and stepped closer to Elowen.

”I’m a Bronze-grade Awakened, and my family has quite a few enterprises in the city too.” Nathan smiled, his voice brimming with confidence: ”If you feel you’ve been deceived by Erik, I can help you get in touch with the Connection Center.”

Elowen said indifferently:

”No need.”

Nathan still refused to stop.

”You don’t have to answer right away. We can find a quiet place to talk.”

Having said that, he directly reached his hand toward Elowen’s face, wanting to stroke her fair, delicate cheek.

Elowen’s jade-green eyes instantly turned cold to the extreme.

The gentleness she had while standing beside Erik completely vanished. A chilling killing intent radiated from her body, making the people standing nearby unconsciously back away.

At the same time, the plainclothes female bodyguards scattered throughout the great hall all turned their heads at once.

Their hands were already resting on their weapons.

They were all people of Elowen’s family, in charge of protecting the commercial center along with the young miss’s safety. If Nathan’s hand advanced even a little further, that arm of his would very likely be snapped on the spot.

But before Elowen or the female bodyguards could act, a hand had already reached out from the side.

Snap!

Erik reached out and gripped Nathan’s wrist tight.

The distance between his fingers and Elowen’s face was less than ten centimeters.

Nathan froze, then immediately tried to force his hand back, but his wrist was like it had been locked in an iron clamp, completely unable to budge.

”Let go!”

He knitted his brows and yanked his arm hard a few more times, but Erik’s hand didn’t waver in the slightest.

In this world, most men were doted on from a young age, and very few actively trained their bodies. Although Nathan had already become a Bronze-grade Awakened, he was only a support Mage, his abilities mainly used to enhance a Succubus’s power during battle.

He himself had almost never done any heavy labor.

Erik, on the contrary, had spent these past five years hauling cargo, delivering goods, doing repairs, and working night shifts, willing to do anything as long as it could earn money. Even without having opened the Heaven Gate, his physical strength still far surpassed that of most men in this world.

Erik’s fingers slowly tightened.

Nathan’s expression immediately changed, his face contorting from the pain.

”It hurts! Let go of my hand!”

The black-haired Succubus standing beside him was startled at the sight and instinctively rushed forward to save him.

But the moment she stepped up, six plainclothes female bodyguards appeared all at once.

Two blocked the front, two stood on either side, and the remaining two sealed off the retreat. The powerful aura radiating from their bodies made the black-haired Succubus immediately stop in her tracks, her face turning pale.

The lead female bodyguard said coldly:

”Stay put.”

The black-haired Succubus clenched both hands, but in the end still didn’t dare to keep acting.

Seeing his partner blocked, Nathan felt both pain and fury, and opened his mouth intending to curse Erik out.

But Erik gave him no chance.

He yanked Nathan’s wrist hard toward himself, and at the same time clenched his other hand into a fist and drove it straight down into his face.

BAM!

A heavy sound rang out in the middle of the great hall.

Nathan’s face was knocked to one side, his whole body spinning half a turn before he crashed hard onto the polished stone floor.

A small white object flew out of his mouth, rolled a few times across the ground, then came to a stop.

It was a tooth.

Nathan lay on the floor, his mind blank for a few seconds. It was only when the intense pain from his face came through that he clutched his cheek and let out a miserable scream.

”Agh!”

Half his face quickly swelled up, and tears he couldn’t hold back streamed from the corners of his eyes.

Erik paid no attention to his cries.

He walked over, bent down, grabbed Nathan by the hair, and dragged him toward Elowen.

Nathan panicked and braced both hands against the ground, but his strength was fundamentally no match for Erik’s. His knees along with his body scraped across the stone floor, leaving behind ugly sounds as his entire person was dragged along like an object with no weight to it.

”Let go of me!”

Nathan thrashed, his face flushed red from pain and humiliation.

Erik still said nothing.

He dragged Nathan to stand before Elowen and only then stopped, after which he pressed his head down hard.

Nathan’s body lost its balance, and his two knees slammed heavily onto the ground.

Thud!

He knelt right in front of Elowen.

The entire great hall instantly went quiet.

Nathan lifted his head, and just as he was about to keep cursing, the hand Erik had in his hair suddenly clenched. The pain shooting straight through his scalp made the words he hadn’t yet spoken get swallowed right back down.

Erik bent down, his voice so calm it sent a chill down the listeners’ spines.

”Apologize to her.”

Just three simple words, but Nathan’s expression changed at once.

He looked at Elowen standing in front of him, then looked at the people all around. Every staff member, customer, and female bodyguard was watching him kneel on the ground.

The humiliation made Nathan’s face contort even more.

”You...”

Erik didn’t wait for him to finish, and the hand gripping Nathan’s hair suddenly pressed down.

BAM!

Nathan’s forehead smashed against the stone floor.

”I don’t like repeating myself.”

Erik’s voice was still calm, but this time Nathan no longer dared to resist.

He could clearly feel that Erik wasn’t joking at all. If he opened his mouth to provoke him again, what he lost wouldn’t be just one tooth.

Nathan trembled as he lifted his head, half his face swollen red, his voice so small it was almost impossible to hear clearly.

”I’m... I’m sorry.”

Elowen looked at him coldly.

Seeing that she gave no reaction, Nathan grew even more afraid inside. He swallowed and tried to raise his voice a bit more.

”I’m sorry, Miss Elowen. I shouldn’t have offended you, and I certainly shouldn’t have carelessly reached out and touched you.”

Only at this point did Erik let go.

Nathan immediately dropped down to sit on the floor, both hands clutching his face along with his stinging scalp, not daring to look up at him.

Erik pulled a handkerchief from his pocket, calmly wiped the fingers that had just gripped Nathan’s hair, then looked down at him.

”Get lost.”

Nathan didn’t dare say another word.

He hurriedly braced his hands and stood up, but because his legs were still shaking he nearly fell again. In the end, all he could do was clutch his swollen red face and stagger toward the entrance.

The female bodyguards also stepped aside to let the black-haired Succubus leave.

She bent down and picked up Nathan’s tooth, then looked at Erik along with Elowen. In her eyes there was shame and disappointment, but there also appeared a trace of admiration she couldn’t hide.

In the end, she still silently ran after Nathan.

The great hall became so quiet that the sound of their two sets of footsteps gradually fading away could be heard clearly.

Erik watched them go, then casually tossed the handkerchief into a nearby trash bin.

From beginning to end, his expression had barely changed at all.

He didn’t like causing trouble.

But that didn’t mean he would stand by and watch someone carelessly grope Elowen.

When Erik turned his head back, he immediately noticed that there was something off about the gazes of the women around him.

Store staff.

Female bodyguards.

Succubi who were out with their partners.

Even a few female Awakened who had just returned from a Trial Space stopped in their tracks, looking at him with heated eyes.

Erik had a tall, large build and trained regularly, completely different from most of the scrawny or overweight men in this world.

He also dared to fight with his own hands.

Most importantly, he had just stood in front of his Succubus and openly declared that anyone who dared touch her had better be prepared to get hit.

For Succubi who were used to being seen by men as combat tools or servants, the pull of that scene was strong to the point of being nearly impossible to resist.

The one who reacted most strongly was of course Elowen.

She was standing right behind Erik, her jade-green eyes lit up, her face flushed red, her breathing far more ragged than before.

Through the contract, Erik could clearly feel the emotions surging up inside her.

Moved.

Stirred.

Along with an intense longing that could almost no longer be suppressed.

This was the first time a man had ever stood as a shield in front of Elowen.

Not because she wasn’t strong enough to protect herself, but because Erik wouldn’t allow anyone to carelessly insult or touch her.

Elowen stepped over and hugged Erik’s arm tight.

This time, her whole body was practically plastered against him.

”Mr. Erik...”

Her voice trembled faintly, carrying emotions so strong they were hard to conceal.

Erik felt that the situation wasn’t good.

Elowen’s hunger had already surfaced back when they were still in the elevator. After witnessing him protect her, her emotions along with the contract were stimulated even more intensely.

”Let’s get out of here first.”

Erik quickly took Elowen’s hand and pulled her toward the door.

He paid absolutely no attention to the phones being raised all around them.

Some had filmed the scene of Nathan reaching his hand toward Elowen.

Some had filmed the moment Erik gripped his wrist tight.

A few had even zoomed in on Erik’s cold face, his firm arm along with the punch that knocked out Nathan’s tooth.

Erik didn’t know that those videos would quickly be posted onto social media.

Right now, all he wanted was to get Elowen away from this place as soon as possible.

The moment the two of them stepped outside, a long silvery-white magic car had already stopped in front of the steps.

The uniformed female driver immediately got out and respectfully opened the door.

”Miss.”

Erik looked at the luxurious car before him, but no longer had the mood to be astonished any further. He and Elowen stepped into the rear compartment.

The space inside was far roomier than an ordinary car. On both sides were soft sofas, in the middle was a small table, and toward the front there was also a partition that could completely soundproof it from the driver’s area.

The moment the car door closed, Elowen immediately sat down right up against Erik.

The female driver softly asked through the communication device:

”Miss, are we heading home?”

Elowen looked at Erik, her face flushed red all the way to her pointed ears.

She hurriedly answered:

”Drive a little slowly.”

The female driver was quiet for a moment, then respectfully replied:

”Yes, Miss.”

The partition between the two compartments slowly rose.

The space in the back was quickly sealed off completely.

Erik turned to look at Elowen.

She was looking at him too, her jade-green eyes veiled with a layer of mist. Elowen’s two hands were already wrapped around his arm, her breathing clearly heating up.

”Mr. Erik...”

She leaned in close, her voice both embarrassed and pleading.

”You said you’d give me a little.”

Erik was silent for a few seconds, then reached out and gently stroked her silver hair.

”I remember.”

Elowen immediately rose up on her toes and kissed his lips.

The kiss only lasted a brief moment. When they parted, she panted, her gaze as she looked at Erik growing even more heated.

Then, Elowen slowly left the sofa and knelt down on the soft carpet in front of him.

Her face was flushed red, but her eyes still looked straight at Erik, carrying an undisguised longing along with anticipation.

The silvery-white car slowly pulled away from the commercial center.

Outside, the flow of people still moved about in dense crowds.

Inside the completely soundproofed compartment, Elowen finally no longer had to keep enduring the hunger that had been pent up since morning.
