Entry: I Secretly Cultivate Immortality in the Martial Arts World

299: Chapter 300 The Socialist World of Cultivation!Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang always acted without haste, yet he made sure to secure every step as he went.

He first assigned the members of the Great Alliance of the Heavens and Universe to various parts of the Immortal Realm, taking over the old sites of the Immortal Domains, God Realms, and Buddha Kingdoms in the name of the Heavenly Court to inventory resources, register populations, and organize the various powers.

The Spiritual Veins, mineral deposits, and Secret Realms that were originally controlled by Immortal Kings, Divine Generals, and Bodhisattvas were all nationalized by the Heavenly Court and then redistributed based on need.

Next, he began to implement a parliamentary system within the Mortal kingdoms.

This was no easy task.

There were millions upon millions of Mortal kingdoms, each with different customs, public sentiments, and histories; how could a one-size-fits-all approach work?

Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang then had members of the Alliance descend to the Mortal world one by one to hold symposiums with the local people, communicate with officials of the old era, and step-by-step Cultivate the public’s awareness of political participation.

For those emperors who were sensible and took the initiative to abdicate in favor of the worthy, Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang would grant them an honorary seat in the parliament to ensure their prosperity for the rest of their lives.

Some emperors resisted stubbornly, gathering Cultivators in an attempt to strike back.

For such individuals, Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang would personally make a trip and erase both the person and their palace.

As for the Cultivator class, Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang also established corresponding regulations.

High-level Cultivators such as Immortal Kings, Golden Immortals, and Profound Immortals could retain their original Immortal Caves and a portion of their resources.

However, they had to accept the supervision and assessment of the Heavenly Court, and were forbidden from privately expanding their influence, maintaining private armies, or interfering in Mortal affairs.

Low-level Cultivators and Human Immortals, on the other hand, enjoyed the Cultivation resources and promotion channels provided by the Heavenly Court.

The centennial Daluo Dao Discussion and Martial Arts Assembly was formally incorporated into the system of Heavenly Laws.

Those with outstanding results could take up positions in the Heavenly Court or serve in management roles across the various Major Thousand Worlds.

If Mortals had the Opportunity to step onto the path of Cultivation, there were also specialized academies and mentors to guide them, no longer being monopolized by Sects as in the past.

Naturally, all of this was not smooth sailing.

The Immortal Realm was too vast, and there were too many living beings.

All sorts of deeply entrenched interests could not be severed by a single decree of the Heavenly Laws.

Some complied in public but defied in private, some formed secret alliances, and some even attempted to assassinate the managers sent down by Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang.

But Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang, Long Da, and Ming He were never the kind of people to be soft-hearted.

Long Da’s axe did not listen to reason.

Whoever was defiant, he would strike.

Ming He’s twin swords did not care for grievances.

Whoever resisted, he would kill.

Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang’s methods were even more meticulous.

Members of the Great Alliance of the Heavens and Universe were spread throughout all realms, and their intelligence network was airtight.

Whenever someone plotted in secret, someone would come to their door for a ”heart-to-heart” within three days.

If the talk went well, it went well; if it didn’t, they would change the person they were talking to.

Death was not actually a big deal.

Under the Reincarnation system of the Supreme Creation Daluo Grotto-Heaven, all living beings could enter Reincarnation after death and Reincarnate to Cultivate again.

Those rebels who were slain were merely changing their physical shells to start anew, and the lucky ones could even retain some memories of their past lives.

But for those with heavy sins, it was a different story.

What were ”heavy sins?”

Massacring cities and exterminating clans, refining living beings, using living people to sacrifice to Magic Treasures, or using Divine Souls to refine Medicinal Pills.

These evil deeds, which were commonplace in the old Immortal Realm, were classified as extremely grave crimes under the Heavenly Laws.

For those who committed such sins, the Heavenly Court would not only destroy their Physical Body but also extinguish their Divine Soul.

Once the Divine Soul was dissipated, even Reincarnation was impossible.

They wouldn’t even have the chance to be reborn as a pig or a dog.

They would be completely erased from between heaven and earth, leaving not a single trace behind.

Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang once commented on this, ”Some people do not deserve a next life.”

When these words spread throughout the Immortal Realm, those Cultivators with a guilty conscience all shuddered.

Consequently, the voices of resistance gradually grew quieter.

It wasn’t because they were convinced, but because they were afraid.

Afraid of Long Da’s axe, afraid of Ming He’s swords, and afraid of Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang’s invisible, intangible, yet omnipresent methods.

The Immortal Realm began to change at a speed visible to the naked eye.

The emperors of the Mortal kingdoms abdicated one after another, and parliamentary halls rose from the ground.

At first, the common people were still trembling with fear, not knowing what this ”parliament” was, but over time they discovered that they could actually speak up, and that someone actually listened to their opinions.

Although the process was bumpy, often filled with arguments and chaos.

But compared to the past days when the emperor’s word was law and final, there was finally a glimmer of hope.

The Cultivators also gradually adapted to the new rules.

After a batch of those troublemakers who were used to oppressing the weak were purged, the rest learned to behave themselves.

The Spiritual Veins were still there, and Medicinal Pills were still being refined, but they could no longer be seized at will.

Some grumbled, saying it was unseemly.

Others were secretly relieved, saying they finally didn’t have to live in fear every day.

Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang remained noncommittal about this.

He knew that changing the rules of a world did not rely on a single day’s thunderous methods, but on day-after-day immersion and integration.

The Heavenly Laws were there, and the power of the Alliance was everywhere; as long as they persisted, after one or two generations, the new living beings would think all of this was only natural.

At that time, great harmony under heaven would no longer be just empty talk on paper.

In the Hall of Longevity, Gu Yan would occasionally sweep his Divine Sense over the progress of the Immortal Realm.

Seeing Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang so busy that his feet barely touched the ground, Long Da holding his axe like a door god every day, and Ming He occasionally killing a few people to sacrifice to his swords, he nodded slightly and silently gave the three of them a thumbs up.

”A socialist Immortal Realm, interesting.”

He whispered this and then closed his eyes again, continuing to stabilize his cultivation in the Great Luo Unity Realm.

...

The news of the Immortal Realm being moved away entirely could not be hidden in the end.

Although the Saint Realm was isolated from the Immortal Realm, the powerhouses in the Saint Realm each had their own ways.

Some were through deducing heavenly secrets, some were through Disciples descending to the Lower Realm to investigate.

Some were through noticing clues in the changes of the stars.

The news spread through the upper echelons of the Saint Realm like ripples.

Eventually, it reached the ears of every prominent Cultivator.

Some were shocked, some were suspicious, some were worried, and some were joyful.

They were shocked that a Major Thousand World like the Immortal Realm had vanished into thin air.

They were suspicious of which sacred being possessed such heaven-defying methods.

They were worried that before the Heaven and Earth Boundless Great Tribulation had truly arrived, such a strange change had already occurred.

What kind of scene would it be when the tribulation fully broke out?

Some were not worried but instead joyful.

Within the Tong Sect Schools of the Saint Realm, such an emotion was pervasive.
