Villain: Manipulating the Heroines into hating the Protagonist

Chapter 749: First Move Of Wang Jian Against Langston Industries

Wang Jian was now settled comfortably in California, the heart of Langston Industries. With his suite in the hotel, luxurious and lavish, he began working on his plan to bring down David Langstonʼs empire. His two prime tools-Sarah and Charlotte-were ready, but he wasnʼt in any rush. He knew that patience and precision would win this game. After all, dismantling an empire didnʼt happen overnight. Wang Jian smiled to himself as he looked out of the large windows overlooking the city skyline, already formulating his next steps.

The morning started with Sarah and Charlotte lounging in their suite, looking far more rested than they had the previous day. Charlotteʼs son was off exploring the hotel, and Sarahʼs daughter was keeping herself entertained on a tablet. Both women were now fully aware of the power they had over their companies and how they could wield it like a weapon.

Wang Jian sauntered into their suite, dressed casually but exuding an air of authority. ”Alright, ladies, letʼs get started,” he said smoothly, sitting on the edge of the bed. He looked at them both, his tone calm but commanding. ”The first step is subtle. Weʼre not going for the knockout punch just yet. Instead, weʼll start by undercutting Langston Industries on their most profitable products.”

Sarah raised an eyebrow, sitting up straighter. ”Undercutting? You want us to drop our prices?”

”Exactly,” Wang Jian confirmed. ”Davidʼs been running on high margins for too long. Heʼs become complacent. Heʼll never expect a sudden price drop. Itʼll force him to either lower his prices or lose customers. And Iʼm betting he wonʼt want to lower them because itʼll eat into his profit margins. Thatʼs when we strike.”

Charlotte looked intrigued. ”And how long do we keep this up?”

Wang Jian smiled. ”As long as it takes. But donʼt worry, you wonʼt lose any money. Your companies are stable enough to absorb the temporary losses. What weʼre aiming for is to destabilize his cash flow.”

Both women nodded, their minds already buzzing with ideas. Wang Jian knew they were both smart enough to execute the plan, but the best part? David wouldnʼt know what hit him.

Meanwhile, David Langston sat at his desk in Langston Industriesʼ headquarters, unaware of the storm brewing. Heʼd spent the past few days finalizing his plan to bribe key members of the board at both Sarah and Charlotteʼs companies. With those insiders, he would stage a coup and oust them from their positions. Once that was done, taking over their companies would be a formality.

David leaned back in his chair, smirking. ”Sarah and Charlotte wonʼt see this coming,” he muttered to himself. ”Their companies will be mine in no time.”

But just as he was about to congratulate himself, his assistant knocked on the door and entered with a file. ”Mr. Langston, you need to see this,” she said, her voice tinged with urgency.

David frowned and opened the file. It was a report on his competitors-Sarah and Charlotte. His eyes widened as he scanned the documents. Their companies had both dropped their prices on several key products-products that were nearly identical to what Langston Industries specialized in. And worse, customers were flocking to them.

”Damn it,” David cursed, tossing the file onto the desk. This was a direct attack, and it had hit him where it hurt: his bottom line.

He stood up and began pacing, his mind racing. ”Theyʼre trying to force my hand,” he muttered. ”If I drop my prices, Iʼll lose profits. If I donʼt, Iʼll lose customers. But why now? Why so aggressive?”

David clenched his fists. He needed to respond-and fast. ”Get me the marketing team,” he barked to his assistant. ”Weʼre going to launch a counter-promotion. If they want to play dirty, weʼll play dirty too.”

Back at the hotel, Wang Jian lounged on a large leather couch in his suite, enjoying a glass of wine while Jessica and Emma were seated on either side of him, giggling and teasing him. Jessica ran her fingers down his arm while Emma leaned in close, whispering something in his ear that made him grin. Life was good, and Wang Jian was in control.

Jessica nudged him playfully. ”So, whatʼs the next move, mastermind?”

Wang Jian chuckled, taking a sip of his wine before answering. ”Itʼs simple. Davidʼs going to retaliate soon—heʼs predictable that way. Heʼll likely run a counter-promotion, try to win back customers with flashy deals. But thatʼs exactly what I want him to do.”

Emma looked curious. ”And why is that?”

”Because,” Wang Jian explained, ”heʼll be burning cash to fund those promotions. And while heʼs busy trying to win back customers, weʼll be siphoning his resources from under his

nose.”

The two women exchanged a glance, impressed by his foresight. Emma leaned in closer, her lips brushing his ear as she whispered, ”I canʼt wait to see what you do next...”

Wang Jian smirked, pulling her onto his lap as Jessica giggled. ”Oh, trust me, darling, itʼs going to be quite the show.”

As predicted, David Langston launched his counter-promotion just days later, offering huge discounts on several of Langston Industriesʼ key products. His marketing team flooded social media with ads, and for a brief moment, it seemed like he was gaining ground again. Customers began to flock back, enticed by the low prices and flashy deals.

But Wang Jian was ready. As soon as Davidʼs promotion went live, Wang Jian instructed Sarah and Charlotte to launch their own marketing blitz. However, instead of fighting David head- on with more price cuts, they focused on branding. Sarahʼs company rebranded itself as an eco-friendly, sustainable alternative, appealing to the growing market of environmentally conscious consumers. Charlotte, on the other hand, repositioned her company as a premium brand, offering quality that Langston Industries couldnʼt match.

The result? While David was burning cash to keep his prices low, Sarah and Charlotte were attracting new, loyal customers with strong brand identities. Langston Industriesʼ temporary surge in sales wasnʼt enough to cover the growing losses from the promotion.

David was furious. Sitting in his office, he glared at the latest sales reports. Despite his best efforts, Sarah and Charlotte were still gaining ground. He had spent millions on the promotion, and it hadnʼt been enough.

”Damn them!” he shouted, slamming his fist on the desk. ”How the hell are they still winning?”

He paced the room, his mind racing. ”I need to hit them where it hurts. Iʼve got to stop playing defense and start attacking. Bribing their board members isnʼt enough-I need to go

bigger.”

David grabbed his phone and called his chief financial officer. ”Weʼre going to buy out their suppliers,” he said coldly. ”If we control the supply chain, they wonʼt be able to produce their products. Weʼll starve them out.”

His CFO hesitated. ”Thatʼs a risky move, David. It could backfire if they find new suppliers...”

”They wonʼt,” David snapped. ”By the time they do, itʼll be too late.”

Wang Jian, of course, anticipated this move as well. As soon as David began buying out

suppliers, Wang Jian instructed Sarah and Charlotte to diversify their supply chains. They secured deals with smaller, more agile suppliers who were eager for new business. While David was busy trying to corner the market, Wang Jian and his mistresses were staying one

step ahead.

As Wang Jian sat with Sarah and Charlotte one evening, they discussed the latest developments. ”Davidʼs trying to squeeze us out by controlling the supply chain,” Charlotte said, her brow furrowed in concern.

Wang Jian smiled calmly. ”Let him try. Weʼve already diversified. By the time he realizes his mistake, itʼll be too late for him.”

Sarah nodded, her confidence restored. ”Weʼll keep pushing forward. Heʼs going to run out of

moves soon.”

Wang Jian leaned back, looking utterly relaxed. ”Exactly. And when that happens, weʼll deliver the final blow.”

And so, the battle between Wang Jian and David Langston continued to unfold, with each side making bold moves and counter-moves. But while David was growing increasingly desperate, Wang Jian remained calm, confident, and always a step ahead. And as the pressure mounted,

Wang Jian took full advantage of his time in California, enjoying the pleasures of his voluptuous mistresses-whether it was a quiet evening with Bella, or a playful afternoon with Jessica and Emma.

The destruction of Langston Industries was inevitable, but Wang Jian wasnʼt in any rush. After

all, the game was just beginning.
