Stronger by Paying Salaries and I Have 1 Billion Employees

At dawn the next day, the sky was just beginning to lighten.

The faint sound of birds chirping drifted from a garden hundreds of meters away, slipping through the crack in the window and into Chen Yansen’s ears.

The previous night was June 17th, the day before the 618 Shopping Festival. He had worked late at the Science and Technology Park until midnight and couldn’t be bothered to go back to Delta to sleep alone, so he had Xiaoli drive him to the residential complex where Ye Qiuping lived.

President Chen opened his eyes slightly, finding a bright and beautiful woman lying in his arms.

Master Ye’s hair was tousled, her mature beauty tinged with a hint of playful innocence. Her skin was snow-white and seemed as if it would release moisture at the slightest touch, smooth and delicate like satin.

The air was filled with a milky fragrance!

Chen Yansen lay with his eyes open, not planning to get up. He reached a hand under the blanket.

”Boss, don’t,” Ye Qiuping murmured sleepily.

”Your boss is giving you the day off,” Chen Yansen said softly.

”Two hours is enough. Any longer and I won’t be able to take it.” Bleary-eyed, Ye Qiuping giggled and subconsciously wrapped her arms around Chen Yansen.

The driver had been switched from Xiaoli to Huang Boxiang.

Chen Yansen leaned back in the rear seat, his mind pondering the progress of the Shencheng Factory. Thanks to Yuan Ruli’s assistance, Deep Blue Battery had gotten the green light all the way through the process of handling procedures and qualifications.

By roughly mid-August, Deep Blue Battery would be able to begin production.

The first batch of products would mainly be for mobile phones, tablets, and laptops, followed by electric vehicles, three-wheeled vehicles, and drones. These were primarily to supply Orange Technology, DJI, Cloud Speed, and Kuai Pao.

By then, Orange Mobile Phones would be even thinner with longer battery life.

Paired with the Aurora Future System and the Celestial Craft A100 Chip, Orange Technology would have what it takes to compete with Apple and Mountain Star.

Twenty minutes later, Lao Huang parked the car in front of Building No. 6.

Chen Yansen stepped out of the car and walked toward the building. He was immediately greeted by the sight of a massive LED screen, which displayed the real-time daily transaction volume for Pinbei.

5.52 billion yuan!

It was only 10:57 AM, and there were still 13 hours left until the end of the shopping festival.

It seemed the 10-billion-yuan goal set by Huang Zheng was very likely to be achieved.

”Morning, Class President,” Xu Xingxing said with a wave and a smile.

”Is Lao Huang here yet?” Chen Yansen paused and asked casually.

”Mr. Huang should be in his office,” Xu Xingxing replied.

Chen Yansen grunted in acknowledgment and walked into the elevator bay.

「Meanwhile.」

In a Ni Cai Factory Store in Jinling’s Liuhe District, the owner squinted his eyes and shot a vicious glare at his employee, Big Mouth. ”Damn it! Didn’t you say the shop across the street was selling fruit?”

”Boss, I didn’t expect them to be selling Orange Mobile Phones!” Big Mouth said, looking aggrieved.

”Get lost. I get annoyed just looking at you,” the owner said with a dismissive wave of his hand, looking impatient.

’Son of a bitch, I hope this place goes bankrupt soon. He’s always forcing me to swear oaths to customers,’ Big Mouth cursed inwardly. He didn’t dare talk back after being scolded.

Because Ni Cai’s products were of poor quality, customers would always hesitate before paying. As a salesperson, this was the moment to bring out Lu Hongbo or one’s own family as collateral: ”If this phone doesn’t work well, may the boss get hit by a car, and may my son be born without a dick.”

Faced with this situation, customers would usually hand over the money without another thought.

To put it bluntly, as long as a 399-yuan phone could make calls and send texts, it met the needs of 90% of its users.

”The Orange Phone store is doing great business,” Big Mouth said, standing at the counter and gazing at the bustling Orange Phone Direct Store across the street, his eyes full of envy.

’I wonder how much commission you get for selling one Orange phone?’

A dense crowd was lined up at the door, and Big Mouth couldn’t help but remember that his own store’s grand opening two years ago had looked just like this.

But ever since Orange Mobile Phone had burst onto the scene, business at the Ni Cai Factory Store had plummeted, never to return to its former glory.

’I’d be better off applying for a job at the Orange Phone store!’

Once the thought took root, it was impossible to suppress.

Big Mouth’s mind raced. He understood the principle of striking while the iron is hot. Their business was booming, so they were probably short on staff.

If he hesitated and shilly-shallied, he wouldn’t even be in time to eat hot shit.

”Boss, I’m going to go over and scout them out. I’ll see what models they’re mainly selling and at what prices,” Big Mouth volunteered.

”Go ahead,” the owner said nonchalantly.

He knew that Orange Technology’s two hottest-selling phones right now were the Qingcheng D2 and the Qingcheng D2 SE, which users had nicknamed the ”Large Qingcheng” and ”Small Qingcheng.”

Although Nicai Mobile Phone still had a 399-yuan model, some customers figured they might as well add 200 yuan and buy a Small Qingcheng.

At least it wouldn’t lag!

”Alright, I’ll be right back,” Big Mouth said with a sly grin. He crossed the street and entered the Orange Phone Direct Store.

The interior was only about fifty square meters, not a large space. It was even smaller than the Ni Cai Factory Store. There were three employees in total, plus a young man handling after-sales service.

”Give me a Small Qingcheng, the white one!”

”What? No more white? Black is fine too!”

”I’ll take a Large Qingcheng. Does it come with a free memory card? The Ni Cai store next door gives them away. Why don’t you?”

”Fine, fine, no freebie it is!”

The customers crowded around the three employees, all talking at once about what they wanted to buy.

The Large Qingcheng and Small Qingcheng were the most popular, though occasionally a customer would ask for an Orange C3S or a Yaocheng X1.

Although the street they were on was in a township within Liuhe District, it was still within the greater Jinling area, and there was no shortage of wealthy people.

Big Mouth wanted to go up and ask, but he couldn’t squeeze through the crowd at all.

He glanced at the after-sales employee, who looked bored with nothing to do. An idea struck him, and he sidled over with a grin. ”Hey bro, are you guys hiring? How’s the commission?”
