Stronger by Paying Salaries and I Have 1 Billion Employees

The more members joined the Cloud Speed Express Alliance, the more these courier companies would depend on Cloud Speed Service Stations and Cloud Speed Express lockers.

Chen Yansen knew full well that the authorities would never allow Cloud Speed Express to form a monopoly, as it was a sector vital to the public’s livelihood.

This was the main reason Cloud Speed had laid low after acquiring the ”Three Passes and One Reach” companies.

’When it comes to a cake, you just have to grab the biggest slice. Trying to eat it all by yourself is a good way to choke.’

At three in the afternoon, the front desk called.

”Bring her to my office,” Chen Yansen said.

After hearing her name, he became even more certain that Mao Chaorong and Qu Fang were the founders of Xiaohongshu.

As for why it was currently called ”Little Red Skirt,” that was actually easy to understand.

A product’s name could be influenced by external factors like its development stage, financing, or acquisitions; it was perfectly normal for it to change.

For example, iQiyi was formerly known as ’Qiyi,’ Qian Du Music was formerly ’Qianqian Jingting,’ Renren Network was formerly ’Xiaonei Network,’ and Tmall Mall was formerly ’Taobao Mall.’ Examples like these were endless.

Three minutes later, a KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK came from the door.

”Come in!”

Chen Yansen replied.

Guided by the receptionist, Qu Fang pushed the door open and walked in.

”Hello, Mr. Chen. My name is Qu Fang. This is my personal resume, as well as the business plan for ’Little Red Skirt’.”

Qu Fang first introduced herself, then handed over a thick stack of documents.

”The name ’Little Red Skirt’ is no good. It immediately gives the impression of being female-centric, and ’Red Skirt’ creates the false sense of a niche shopping app. Change it to Xiaohongshu. RedNote. It’s concise, easy to grasp, and better for marketing.”

Chen Yansen leaned back and waited for Qu Fang to take a seat before speaking unhurriedly.

”Xiaohongshu? It certainly is catchier than ’Little Red Skirt.’ Thank you for the guidance, President Chen.” Qu Fang thanked him with composure.

Chen Yansen’s gaze swept over Qu Fang. She wasn’t exceptionally beautiful, but her strength lay in her calm and steady demeanor, and her eyes held a sharp glint of astuteness.

Her posture was upright, her back straight, her hands folded naturally on her lap. Her every gesture conveyed the competence of a seasoned professional.

His first impression of Qu Fang was that she was even a cut above Mao Chaorong.

”I’ll give you two options: 20% equity for 2 million, or 95% equity for 50 million, with the remaining 5% equity distributed over three years,” Chen Yansen stated concisely.

”I’ll take the 50 million.” Qu Fang smiled confidently and chose the latter without hesitation.

’The more money you take, the more traffic and resources come with it.’

Besides, rather than having her equity diluted round after round, it was better to latch onto the most powerful backer from the start.

”You’re smarter and more decisive than Mao Chaorong.” Chen Yansen smiled faintly, his eyes filled with appreciation.

”You’re too kind, President Chen. I just want to become one of Senlian Capital’s own,” Qu Fang replied with a nod.

”In that case, welcome to Senlian Capital, President Qu,” Chen Yansen said with a smile, extending his right hand.

”Thank you, President Chen.” Qu Fang immediately stood up, shook Chen Yansen’s hand, and responded respectfully.

’Xiaohongshu holds multiple strategic values for Senlian Capital. First, it can create a closed loop of using content to generate consumer interest and drive sales. Second, it can enhance Orange Technology’s overall brand image and help it upgrade. Third, it can provide targeted traffic for the group’s other products.’

’Most importantly, Qu Fang’s business plan for Xiaohongshu hasn’t even gotten off the ground yet. Getting in at this stage is a total steal.’

’As far as he knew, Xiaohongshu’s market cap would eventually exceed 200 billion, even surpassing Miha You.’

’Fifty million for two hundred billion. No matter how you spun it, it was an absolute win!’

After chatting with Qu Fang for a bit, Chen Yansen picked up his phone and called Gao Weilin. ”Old Gao, come over for a minute.”

”Okay, Boss.” Gao Weilin understood. ’The big boss has another job for me.’

OFO Bike had deployed its second batch of shared bikes in Hang City, with the total number exceeding ten thousand and daily revenue reaching 30,000 Hua Yuan.

Cheng Wei’s pace of expansion was not slow either. After retrofitting the first and second-generation DiDi Bikes with smart locks, he increased the number of deployed bikes to 15,000.

In fact, a total of 15,600 bikes had been deployed in two batches, but over 600 of them had gone missing.
