Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Aquarina drew the weapon Sylphy had recently gifted her, a golden dagger embedded with fiery golden jewels. As she imbued it with Mana, she unleashed a slashing wave. Her friends panicked, trying to stop her, but it was too late. The attack struck the small statue, shattering it into pieces. Aquarina’s eyes widened as an immense weight crashed down on her body.

The intensity felt as if a titan had descended from the skies and fallen onto her small frame. The weight slammed her into the floor, creating a massive crater that sent ripples across the temple. Her friends watched in horror as her legs and arms twisted and broke, her eyes bled, and she groaned in agony, biting her lips and clenching her teeth, resisting by using all her might.

“G-Gaagh…! AAAAGGHH!”

Aquarina pushed forward. Her healing staff worked tirelessly to mend her wounds, while her spirits, shocked by their master’s actions, stayed by her side.

“You can’t handle the weight alone!!!”

Undine rushed to her and offered as much help as she could.

“We can’t do it alone, but…! Both of you, come!”

Undine called for Leon and Drakon. They flew to Aquarina’s side, transforming into spiritual power and fusing with her, enhancing her physical strength with their spells and abilities.

FLAAASH!

The three Spirits merged into her body, altering her appearance. She gained Undine’s water fairy traits with blue skin, Leon’s cat ears, tail, fur, and claws, and Drakon’s scales and eggshell-like armor.

“Her Spirits are helping her!” Silvia said happily.

“But why didn’t she ask for their help before?!” Justicio asked.

“She… doesn’t want them to bear the burden…” Pyuku sighed. “Aquarina, you’ve always been this way… you want to do everything on your own, you want to help everyone by bearing it all… this is something even Sylphy has reprimanded her for, but Sylphy… is kind of similar too.”

“Is that so…” Silvia sighed.

“But now we can… no, wait, there’s one left!” Justicio panicked.

“Haaa… Haaa…”

Aquarina gasped for air. With her spirits’ power, she barely held the weight, using her staff, wrapped around her body, to heal herself constantly.

Otherwise, she would likely die.

“Aquarina, you can’t just take that weight!”

“Just quit already!”

Silvia and Justicio kept insisting, but Aquarina wouldn’t budge… She was determined, not just for herself, but for her friends too.

She wanted them to rise to new heights, and this was the only way.

Her eyes shone brightly as she looked back at them.

“We have to do this; we can’t walk back… We can’t.”

“But…”

“Damn it!”

As her friends cried, they stepped forward and touched her shoulders.

“Huh?”

Aquarina looked back, her eyes widening.

“Then take our power!”

“Let’s do it together! You won’t bear it alone!”

Roaring with frustration over her stubbornness, they smiled as their Auras merged with hers.

“Thank you… Let’s do this, together!”

FLUOSH!

Pyuku watched, realizing he was the only one left behind…

No, not anymore.

He refused to just watch.

He was done being a “side character”!

“Aquarina! I’ll lend you my power!”

Pyuku turned spiritual, fusing with Aquarina’s body and imbuing her with his powers. Her hair turned blue and slime-like, flowing like glowing azure slime tentacles, her appearance now almost alien, god-like, yet majestic.

Her friends’ powers were flowing through her. For a moment, Silvia and Justicio became almost ethereal, their beings using Aquarina as a vessel through her unique constitution.

Justicio’s Fusion Armor covered her, merging with her bones and muscles. Silvia’s Soul Weapon power and Khepri’s mechanical armor further enhanced her body, inside and out.

FLAAASH!

As Aquarina and her friends merged into a giant of gold and azure steel, she swung her hand. Her dagger transformed into a radiant golden sword, cutting through the titan statue.

“HAAAAAAH!”

The slash sliced the titan and its crystal, shattering everything and making it crumble. A massive tremor slammed the fused friends into the ground.

TRUUUM!

“GUUAAAAHHH!”

They roared in agony and frustration, but also with new resolve, crawling relentlessly toward the exit. Their bodies were crushed and regenerated, their Mana rapidly depleting.

Visions of their memories passed through their combined minds, souls, and bodies… their smiles, experiences, hunts, laughter. These moments weren’t for nothing. Each memory strengthened the bonds that held them together.

Yes…

The true lesson of this trial wasn’t just bearing ridiculous burdens but relying on each other. Every bond they made had meaning.

They weren’t fleeting feelings or memories.

Each memory, smile, laugh, and day spent together formed their bonds…

These bonds were physical, made of bones and muscles, of everything they were.

Their unified strength poured from every inch of their combined powers, bodies, and souls.

“RUUUUAAAHHHHHH!”

Roaring, they stood on their two feet, a titan born from their bonds, their friendship, their relentless dreams and hopes!

BAAAM!

Their blazing fist smashed through the exit, causing a huge explosion that shook the trial. The titan walked forward.

Each second was agonizing, feeling like an eternity!

But they were almost there, about to reach it!

“Don’t give up…!”

“We can do this, damn it!”

“We’ve done so much more before…!”

Their souls unified into a single force.

Indeed, they had faced far greater challenges…

Their thoughts aligned as they smiled.

“THIS IS NOTHING!”

They took several steps forward, breaking the floor. The immense weight on their bodies surpassed that of a mountain.

RUMBLE!

Then, as they fell, they landed in a long, dark corridor.

They passed through the exit, the weight gone. All of them lay on the floor, smiling in relief, their bodies battered and bloodied.

They only had to carry weight, yet this felt more intense than any battle they had ever faced…

“WELL DONE, YOUNG WARRIORS. YOU HAVE PASSED THE FIRST OF THE THREE TRIALS. I AM PLEASED. THROUGH YOUR BONDS, FRIENDSHIP, AND TRUST, YOU HAVE SURPASSED WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN IMPOSSIBLE ALONE.”

“FOR YOUR GREAT PERFORMANCE AND FOR DEMONSTRATING TO THIS OLD MAN THAT THERE’S STILL HOPE OUT THERE… I SHALL GRANT YOU THE BEST REWARD FOR THE FIRST TRIAL.”
