Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Having lost his motivation to work hard and earn money to move out, after his parents rejected his plan, a plan he had been working for since his childhood, Justicio simply… became different.

Becoming unmotivated, lazy, and slightly selfish, he didn’t want to do anything else than lay down, occasionally hunt to eat, and do nothing else.

He had lived and worked hard for his parents which he loved so much, yet their endless stubbornness completely made all his efforts worthless.

What was the point anymore?

That was a question he would ask himself way too many times a day, as he saw the days pass, the nights pass, and life becoming more and more boring, more monotone…

Until she appeared, Aquarina.

She changed his life instantly, with Silvia, an old childhood friend he sometimes greeted now and then, the two girls…

They appeared inside of his life forcefully, grabbed his arm, and dragged him with them everywhere.

He didn’t want to; he really didn’t want to be with them!

But they simply forced their way into his cold heart, and he was forced to step out of his comfort zone anyways.

He saw how they trained, how they fought, and how their motivations were so beautiful, they had dreams and hopes, much larger, and bigger than his own.

Although he mostly was jealous of them, there as also a sense of… attachment he developed over the time they spent together.

He became attached to them, to their friendship, to their niceness, to their words and their motivational speeches which were so damn cringe sometimes.

At one point, he suddenly began to regain his motivation, he wanted to be at their side even if a little bit more.

And also, perhaps, with their ideas in his mind, to improve the status of his family through his own efforts.

And for that, he needed to grow stronger.

Eventually, through adventurers and laughs, Justicio regained his smile, and a bit of his motivation, dreams, and perhaps even hopes.

It was incredible what friendship could make; it could change someone so much…

He couldn’t believe it.

And now, he was doing this…

Yes, he could remember now.

He was doing this because he wanted to gain their respect even more and help them.

Justicio wanted to help Aquarina in the trial, and he wanted to become even stronger.

To pass the inheritance trial, and to become someone worthy of the ancestor’s legacy.

“GRRRHHHH…!”

The massive insect glared at him furiously, opening its mandibles, and then pushing them down towards him, to swallow him whole.

And now, what?

What could he do?

Justicio glanced at his untimely demise.

At best it will fail, and nothing will happen to him.

At worst, he’ll die.

Or perhaps even worse than that, he will become this monster.

“No…”

Aquarina and Silvia’s visions appeared within his mind, images popping up across his entire being.

Then of his parents, of the love he still felt for them, despite everything, despite their stubbornness…

“NOOO!”

With a scream full of desperation and anger, Justicio swung his fists, overflowing with a willpower never seen before.

BAAAM!

His punch alone pierced through the monster’s mandibles, leaving a massive hole through its face!

“GRYYYAAAARRGH!”

The insect monstrosity cried in agony, stepping back and grabbing its wound, touching it in disbelief and pain.

“Huh?”

Justicio glanced at his own fist, covered with green insect blood.

“Did I do that?”

He couldn’t believe it!

“No, there’s no way…”

“GRRRHHHH…!”

As he doubted himself, the insectoid monster started crawling back to him.

There was no time to doubt.

There was no inner voice telling him what to do, nobody was coming to help him either.

The young man was alone on this, by himself.

But this, at the end of the day…

Yeah, he already realized.

“This is not a physical realm, but the realm of my own mind, and soul…” he thought. “And if its truly my mind and soul, then… I am not weak.”

“SHYAAAAH!”

As the monster fired dozens of sunlight beams, Justicio stepped forward.

He swung his hands, deflecting the beams with casual swipes of his hand.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

His face remained stoic and serious, focused and infused with undying resolve.

The insect realized this, and it seemed to feel something.

Fear!

“G-GRYYEEEH!”

While still trying to act tough, the monster rushed towards him, swinging its massive arms against him, trying to tear the young man to shreds with its long claws.

Yet Justicio held his ground focusing and remembering the words of his mother, who taught him how to fight.

“Justicio, you’re small, smaller than most men in the tribe. That is a fact, my son,” she once said. “That’s why you have to learn to keep your ground and never let them throw you around. Strengthen your endurance, keep your stance firm, and then when they hit you and you take it, hit them from below.”

He remembered her fiery eyes, showing that she was once a mighty warrior.

“And break their damn chins.”

CLAASH!

The attack reached him, as Justicio took it head-on.

The impact was tremendous, yet his strengthened arms took it!

Even as they bleed.

And then, in that moment.

He imitated Aquarina’s Heavenly Step, releasing a wave of Ki from his legs.

And…

CRAAASH!

He hit the monster’s chin, as a gigantic shockwave of power surged from his fists, cleaving through the insect’s face!

And tearing it to shreds.

“GRYYAAEERGH?!”

BOOOM!

Before the insect could understand what happened, its face exploded apart, as its gigantic body fell from into the ground below.

Justicio’s body, covered on his own blood and the blood of the monstrosity, sighed in relief.

“I won?”

He couldn’t believe it.

It was that simple.

He simply had to believe on himself.

And he also had to hold a strong will, a powerful resolve.

That was…

All.

FLASH!

The moment he defeated the monster, he noticed its entire body exploded into golden light, fusing with his body.

He felt stronger, and stronger, and stronger…!

It was a never-ending boost of power!

But that wasn’t all, as something was left behind when this strange creature was defeated.

“Huh?”

A small white colored larva, looking around confused, a bit scared too.

“Kyuuh? KYUH?!”

“Is this…?”

Justicio couldn’t believe it!

“A spirit?!”
