Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Chapter 1976: Great Growth! Strength Rank Up Requirements? And Dropped Items

-----

After finally defeating the boss, we decided to take a well-deserved break. It had been an exhausting battle, and honestly, that creature possessed near-divine power. Is this the kind of strength Tier 9 monsters and above truly wield? I don’t even want to think about facing a Tier 10.

Even beyond that, far more terrifying monsters exist in certain parts of the world, particularly the Dark Side of the Demon Continent—an immense, pitch-black wasteland teeming with horrors so dreadful that even most demons refuse to venture there.

In that place, Tier 10 monsters are ordinary, while even stronger beings reaching Tier 11, 12, 13, and even 15 roam freely. It is also the domain of the Dragon King.

Ding!

[Strength has gained 22000 EXP.]

[Your Strength Stat has Leveled Up!]

[Your Strength Stat has Leveled Up!]

[Your Strength Stat has Leveled Up!]

[Your Strength Stat has Leveled Up!]

[Strength–Rank F: Level 6/10 → 10/10]

[Total Strength has increased from 14 to 22!]

[All Sub-Stats have increased!]

[The Skill: [Flames of Strength: Lv1] has Leveled Up.]

Whew, that progressed surprisingly quickly. My Strength Stat has finally climbed to 22, and the change is already noticeable. My muscles, though still small and lean, feel incredibly dense and powerful. When I channel enough energy, a vivid crimson aura surrounds me, making my entire body feel dramatically heavier.

The concept of Strength within me has also split into several sub-stats, each one enhancing a distinct aspect of my being.

Although Strength has now reached Max Level, it can be Ranked Up.

[Strength has reached Max Level and can now Rank Up.]

[Rank Up Requirements]:

[Max Level: 10/10]

[Tier 5 or higher Monster Core: 0/10]

[Tier 5 or higher Monster Blood Liters: 0/100]

[Push Ups: 0/1000]

[Sit Ups: 0/1000]

[Squats: 0/1000]

[Run 10 kilometers: 0/10]

But what are these odd requirements?!

The Monster Cores are realistic—I can collect those here without issue—but the rest? Exercise? Push-ups? Sit-ups? Squats? Running ten kilometers? It seems the system is only beginning to track them now.

”Hm, what is it?” Alice asked, glancing at the messages alongside me. ”Ah, those requirements look pretty straightforward. Is it really that bad?”

”No, no, it’s not bad. I was just caught off guard, that’s all,” I shrugged. ”I suppose I could tackle them right now?”

”Are you seriously planning to run in circles for ten kilometers like some fool?” Armageddon asked.

”Well, do you have a better suggestion?” I sighed. ”Anyway, let’s check how everyone else has progressed...”

As I released my familiars and they slumped onto the floor, completely spent, I noticed their auras pulsing with golden light. Each pulse brought a level increase and a subtle surge of power.

Ding!

[Your Contracted Familiar: [Scarlet] has reached Max Level and can now Evolve!]

[Your Contracted Familiar: [Sapphire] has reached Max Level and can now Evolve!]

”Looks like everyone grew decently strong,” I said. ”Not quite at max level yet—wait, two already hit the cap? How did you manage that so quickly?”

I turned to my Living Sword and Living Shield, floating beside me. They had no conventional eyes, but I could sense their surprise.

No, they do have eyes—those gleaming jewels set into their decorative steel dragon heads. They must be watching me with those.

”Well, we handled the heaviest fighting, didn’t we?” Scarlet asked.

”Yeah, we battled for you and shielded you!” Sapphire nodded.

”Right, that must award more EXP,” I realized, nodding. ”Alright then, I wonder if I can evolve you right now? Let’s hold off a moment though—there’s something else.”

I looked back at the boss’s shattered remains. Several small glowing orbs hovered there, alongside a brightly shining red treasure chest.

”Wow, is this a dungeon reward? Monsters don’t usually drop treasure chests though...?” I wondered, rubbing my chin.

”No, this is the Reward System, Sylphy—it’s active now!” Alice explained. ”Come here.”

She guided me over. I picked up the palm-sized golden crystal orbs; they vanished into my inventory the moment I touched them.

The treasure chest disappeared the same way.

”What?”

New system messages appeared before me.

[The {Reward System} has been activated. Congratulations, you have received several Rewards!]

[You have collected: [Boss Monster Soul Orb (A Grade)] x12]

[You have collected: [Boss Monster Treasure Chest (S Grade)] x1]

”Oh wow, Boss Monster Soul Orbs?” I marveled. ”What are these?”

I quickly retrieved one from inventory. Its warm power enveloped me gently.

”A new item crafted from leftover soul essence,” Alice explained. ”These will strengthen and expand your Soul, making Cultivation, Mana control, and utilization much easier.”

”Oohh!” I nodded eagerly.

”They can serve as Materials too,” Armageddon added. ”You could substitute them in place of certain items.”

”Oooohhhh!” I was thrilled. ”Alright, let’s absorb a few and see how it feels...!”

I pressed my hand against the first one. It shattered into soul particles that my soul eagerly absorbed.

A wave of warm energy flowed into me, filling me with pure exhilaration.

”Oh, this feels incredible~ What the hell?” I said happily. ”Hahaha! I love this sensation...”

I absorbed three more before feeling satisfied—and somehow, Demonic Energy began stirring inside me.

”Huh?”

”Though they aren’t true souls, the system registers them as such,” Alice said.

”Wow!” I exclaimed. ”I had no idea... Wait, maybe Red can finally consume some souls?”

As I spoke, Red’s many bodies turned toward me. Every one of them had their tongues hanging out, drooling as they stared longingly at the Soul Orb in my hand.

Huh, okay, I get it, looks like he wants to try them!
