Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Chapter 1964: Against The First Dungeon Boss, The Giant Winter Wolf King!

-----

”Holy Blazing Dragon Blade Arts.”

”First Form – Holy Dragon Blazing Fangs!”

I swung my sword forward in a horizontal and vertical slash. Giant draconic fangs materialized from my Sword Aura fused with Draconic Aura; enormous dragon fangs erupted and tore into their bodies. The Yeti attacking as a coordinated team were quickly riddled with deep, burning wounds. They screamed in agony and collapsed one after another.

Suddenly, from behind them, a massive three-headed wolf with white and dark purple fur burst into view. It barked furiously, leaped toward me, and swung its enormous claws. An overwhelming force slammed into me, pain exploding across my entire body.

CRAAASH!

In an instant I crashed into the icy wall. The giant creature charged again. That level of damage, the sheer pain...

”You’re a Tier 9 monster, aren’t you?”

[Giant Winter Wolf King – Curse Of Miasma Corruption Form (Tier 9: Rank 2)]

That was the Giant Winter Wolf King—one of the three bosses of this dungeon! It must have rushed here after sensing the commotion.

It seemed corrupted boss monsters had no obligation to remain in their lairs and could roam freely wherever they pleased.

I stood quickly, brushed the dust from my clothes, and locked eyes with the three-headed wolf. It had clearly evolved, gaining extra heads and a far larger, more imposing body.

”What? Mad I didn’t die instantly? I’m tougher than I look!”

”GRAAARRRR!”

The giant three-headed wolf howled and charged. I ordered the rest of my familiars to handle the Yeti and Polar Bears so they wouldn’t interfere, then leaped forward to meet it.

Rising higher with my dragon wings, I reached the level of its heads and brought Scarlet down with full force, channeling her Skills into a single devastating strike.

”Holy Dragon Great Sword Thunderous Dance! + Four Colored Holy Dragon Thunder Flame! + Sword Ki Aura Domain!”

I fused three of her Skills into one unified attack.

”Four Colored Holy Dragon Thunderous Infernal Sword Dance Domain!”

I spun in midair as I descended. Four-colored flames surged violently while thunder crackled along my blade and spread through my body. My Draconic Power condensed and erupted; the attack became a colossal ray of gold, green, red, and blue light that tore straight through the wolf’s central head.

SLAAAASH!

BOOOM!

A tremendous explosion erupted. The giant creature was hurled backward, crashing over several Yeti and Polar Bears before rising again in fury. The middle head was dead, but the other two still lived.

”I see—so you redirected the damage to one head and sacrificed it!” I said with a nod, flying toward them as my dragon wings blazed with fire and snapped with thunder. ”Come on!”

I unleashed the same combination again, this time merging it with Holy Blazing Dragon Blade Arts. A pseudo aura domain of pure Sword Ki formed around me; a single strike multiplied into dozens of burning, thunderous Ki blades.

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

The Tier 9 boss roared and released a suffocating miasma aura, transforming it into hundreds of massive icicles—each dozens of meters long—that assaulted me from every direction. Through my combined technique I created my own Sword Ki domain and carved forward, slashing apart anything in my path.

”ROOOAAARRR!”

Realizing its attack had failed, the monster gathered even more power into its two remaining mouths and unleashed a double breath of freezing cold and miasma. The combined beam completely froze me in place.

BOOOMMM!!!

The force launched me upward, my body smashing into the ceiling and shattering ice as I was hurled hundreds of meters high.

Ouch. That one really hurt.

I dropped back down through the hole I had made, catching the beast off guard. It glared at me with gleaming, razor-sharp eyes.

I had taken damage, but nothing my Aura couldn’t heal.

Still, the fact that it could hurt me at all proved this was a formidable opponent.

”The fight’s not over, buddy. Let’s keep going!”

I roared, unleashing more of my Draconian power as I charged with Sapphire held in front. I slammed her into the wolf’s face, driving the enormous monster downward into the ground, then swung Scarlet and drove her deep into its skull.

”GRYAAARRR!”

In agony the creature swung its giant claws, ripping through my Aura and Scales. Blood coated my body as I crashed into the wall again.

”Haah!”

But as I rose and glared back, the wolf continued screaming. A long blade of light remained embedded in its cranium—it couldn’t pull it free.

”Holy Sunlight Blade Summon – Explode!”

”GYAAAACK!”

The wolf shrieked in torment. Its left head swelled grotesquely; rays of light burst from its mouth, nose, ears, and eyes before the head detonated.

BOOOM!

The final head stared at its two fallen companions, then turned back to me and began absorbing the surrounding miasma, transforming once more.

”ROOOAAAARRR!”

RUMBLE!

”What’s this now?!”

I enveloped myself in my Yggdragon Double Aura and readied Sapphire. A violent storm of ice and miasma gathered around the monster, dragging dozens of lesser creatures toward it and absorbing them into its body.

The pressure was immense, but I charged straight in. I knew this thing was trying to power up further—perhaps to reach an even higher tier—so I interrupted it mid-transformation, slashing through the thick chaotic storm with Scarlet.

”Holy Blazing Dragon Blade Arts!”

”Second Form – Holy Dragon Infernal Claw!”

As I brought her down, a colossal claw descended from above. It shattered the storm of chaos, smashed into the still-transforming boss, and tore away half its body. One leg and one arm were ripped off; blood and entrails splattered across the ice.

CRAAAASH!

”GRAAAAAEEERRRRGGGHH!”

The boss monster screamed in utter shock and agony. I rushed forward and clashed with it again. The creature absorbed whatever it could reach, regenerating an arm and leg of pure miasmic ice, then attacked with massive claws. I met every strike with Scarlet and Sapphire, blending sword and shield into my core fighting style.

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

Parry, block, defend, parry, block, defend. I repeated the cycle relentlessly until the smoke cleared, revealing a towering dark purple werewolf covered in jagged purple miasmic ice spikes. It roared furiously at me. Half its face was missing—I had nearly killed it—but it had forced through a partial transformation, granting itself a significant new surge of power.

[The Dungeon Boss: [Giant Winter Wolf King – Curse Of Miasma Corruption Form (Tier 9: Rank 2)] has channeled the power within its Glacial Miasmic Heart and transformed into its Werewolf Form! All of its Stats have increased by 200%, and its Attack Speed has been further boosted by 100%.]

No wonder it felt so much faster and tougher now—this thing had become three times stronger and twice as quick!
