Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 1157: In the Kitchen of the Family Home.

Idan changed out of his uniform into casual clothes, rolled up his sleeves and put on one of the two aprons. He started checking the ingredients that were available.

While he was doing this, Arabel took off the {Ghost Mask} and put it into her spatial ring. She settled down at the table, leaned her elbows on the counter, rested her chin on her palms and began to watch her husband.

Noticing that he had started to choose the ingredients, she tensed slightly. After her recent bout of nausea, she was still wary of any pungent odor. However, to her surprise, the kitchen remained filled with only a light, barely perceptible aroma of ingredients, spices and purity.

She inhaled slowly and blinked in surprise.

[The family kitchen adapts to the current state of the Hosts]

[Irritating odors, sudden temperature changes, and unwanted impurities will be automatically suppressed]

Arabel looked at the sudden refinement of the System in surprise, and then laughed softly.

“By the way, what’s your cooking level?”

“The third one, and yours?”

“Likewise,” Arabel replied, and after a moment’s silence, she added: “I want juice…”

Idan froze and turned to her.

“Which one?”

“Which one is there?” she asked in response.

Idan opened his roomy refrigerator and began listing: “Apple, pear, carrot, pumpkin, pomegranate, orange…”

Arabel chose apple juice.

“Okay,” — Idan nodded. Instead of taking the ready-made juice, he took the apples and, using a juicer, decided to make it himself.

He quickly completed the task and, before serving the Arabel juice, slightly diluted it with water.

“Here’s your juice, my lady,” Idan said with theatrical solemnity, which elicited a genuine laugh from Arabel.

Arabel took a sip and stood for a moment, enjoying the taste.

“It’s delicious.”

Idan, pleased with her reaction, returned and began to prepare the ingredients.

Watching him, Arabel was reminded of the mysterious Awakened One who delivered unique ingredients to ordinary restaurants through a mysterious box.

“I wonder if Darkia managed to find him?” she thought, and at the same time remembered her old plan to expand the cuisine of the new world.

The advent of {Local Systems Network} and Nexus has changed the situation. Now the Awakened Ones could not only communicate, but also find buyers for their products.

Sofia, for example, has already expressed a desire to open a restaurant in the Nexus, which means that over time there should be other Awakened Ones associated with peaceful activities, including cooking.

“Okay, I’ll leave all matters related to this up to Sofia and Beatrice for now.”

Idan noticed that Arabel was thinking about something as she slowly sipped her juice.

“What are you thinking about?”

Arabel looked up from her thoughts.

“I was thinking about the things I was doing before the Disaster, and how to continue them, given all the changes that have taken place,” she confessed.

Idan listened attentively to her while cooking and agreed that it was time for Sofia to start selling food for System Points.

“With the transition to selling for System Points, she will be able to quickly accumulate the necessary amount to rent a Slot module and open her own restaurant. And if she wants to buy a Core module, you could lend her the missing amount.”

Arabel nodded, agreeing with Idan’s thoughts. She also considered the possibility of such an offer for Sofia.

“However, it’s worth remembering that not everyone can access the Nexus. If we want everyone to be able to enjoy the cuisine of the new world, we need to think about ordinary people. In this regard, I fully support your decision to involve the Royce family,” Idan said.

“Use Beatrice as you planned. Let her contact the Royce family and find out if they are ready to cooperate,” he suggested.

“Speaking of Beatrice,” Arabel said with a sigh, putting the glass down on the table. “She’s been running into her father too much lately when he’s alone.”

Then she added with a slight smirk:

“It seems like she has a crush on my dad, and these chance encounters are just her attempts to get his attention.”

Seeing her smile, Idan felt a little uneasy. Knowing how much Anna, Arabel’s mother, looked like her and how jealous and possessive she was of Richard, he imagined the storm that would erupt if Anna found out about it.

“You know… I’m already starting to worry about Beatrice,” he said.

Arabel couldn’t help but laugh when she heard his words.

“Well, that’s my mother’s problem, I won’t interfere,” she said, and then added, “But knowing my father, I’m sure Beatrice is unlikely to succeed.”

Richard was indeed a devoted and deeply in love man with Anna, and Idan completely agreed with this.

“Speaking of your parents, how are they?”

Arabel raised her glass, took another sip, and smiled.:

“They’re doing well. I visit them almost every day through my avatar.”

After a short pause, she added:

“You know, they rarely, but still notice that you, their handsome son-in-law, don’t visit them. Although they immediately say that they understand what a busy person you are.”

Idan was distracted from cooking for a moment, realizing that he really hadn’t seen them for a long time. Arabel kept in touch with her parents almost every day through her avatar, but he himself did not find time to personally visit Richard and Anna.

“Then I need to catch up,” he said, returning his gaze to Arabel. “You and I will definitely visit them. I don’t want my father-in-law and mother-in-law to think that I came into their family just to steal their daughter.”

Arabel smiled softly.

“They will be very happy to see you,” she said confidently.

Idan devoted the rest of his time to cooking, and soon Arabel was presented with several mouth-watering dishes.

“Join me,” Arabel invited, not wanting to eat alone and eager to share a meal with him.

Idan took off his apron and sat down opposite.

Arabel carefully took the first piece and, inhaling the fragrance, smiled happily.

“How wonderful it smells!” her eyes shone with delight.

And when she put a piece in her mouth, she realized that the taste was simply excellent.

She began to enjoy eating, fully appreciating the advantages of the “Kitchen” of the family home.

When Arabel finished eating, she looked at her husband with pleasure and remembered something.

“By the way, I haven’t seen your grandmother today…” she began, but when she saw Idan’s reaction, she guessed.

“So she accepted Geminia’s offer after all?” she asked in surprise.

Idan nodded and confirmed:

“Yes, after much thought, Eleanor agreed to become Geminia’s student. And now she’s in Limbo with her.”
