Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 513: What... bloodline?

Milena felt completely rested and well-rested for the first time in a long time. Her thoughts were clear and fresh like never before. Although her body still felt weak and slightly sore, she was in a much better mood.

”Are you finally awake?” she heard a familiar voice.

Turning her head, she saw the Dark Duchess Elsa and another girl with short black hair. Looking more closely, she noticed a resemblance to Erza’s servants and was seriously scared.

”Relax,” — Arabel said. ”She, like you, was abducted and subjugated by the Womskinner race. She, like you, was saved at that time. I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of them.”

Arabel’s words calmed Milena down somewhat, but she still looked at Essora warily. It was only after Arabel’s words that Milena remembered how other people had mentioned that, in addition to the rescued Awakened Ones, Ethan and Isabella’s couple had brought three more outsiders with them. These three were under the care of Queen Irene. Milena realized that this girl was one of the three.

”Thanks to the potion, your human bloodline has partially recovered, and now you won’t have any complications,” Arabel said.

”But you won’t be able to fully recover like this,” she said softly.

Although Milena was bitter to hear these words, she understood that Elsa was right.

”As I said before, we have a way to cure you completely,” Arabel added.

Milena didn’t understand why this Elsa was talking about it again.

She has already given her consent. Why isn’t she treating her as promised?

”I see you have doubts about my words,” Arabel smiled faintly, looking at Milena’s doubts.

”I just want to explain to you before we start, so that you fully understand what you’re signing up for. Because after everything is done, there will be no turning back,” Arabel specifically emphasized these words, because after taking the bloodline change potion, it will be almost impossible for Milena to become human again.

”No matter how ironic it may sound, but the only way to completely cure you in the shortest possible time is to completely change your human bloodline to another one,” Arabel finally confessed her method, which she suggested to Milena.

Hearing this, Milena laughed hoarsely, but soon she writhed in pain.

”I want to be honest: we have the opportunity to help you and preserve your human bloodline, but this will require a huge number of expensive resources that you will not be able to find in our world. And the process itself will take a very long time — not a couple of days or even weeks, but months, maybe even years,” Arabel honestly admitted.

”In contrast, a complete change of your bloodline will only take a few days, and during that time you will fully recover,” she added.

Milena was extremely unhappy with this turn of events.

But as the mistress of her body, Milena was well aware that Elsa was right. Her own System also confirmed the woman’s words, noting that recovery requires special resources and time.

As she knew, they had very little time. Their world was rapidly moving towards its end, and Milena couldn’t wait.

However, before making a decision, she wanted to know which bloodline they were proposing to replace her human one with.

”What... bloodline?” Milena asked hoarsely.

Hearing this question, Arabel immediately perked up.

”What do you think about the bloodline of the Valkyries from the world of Junonia?” she blurted out instantly, surprising not only Milena, but also herself. Her excitement was so intense that she couldn’t help herself.

Milena repeated in her mind, and at that moment her system started sending messages, insistently demanding that she not miss this opportunity and agree to the proposal. The system even started listing all the advantages of the Valkyrie race, without mentioning the disadvantages.

[Do you realize how rare this chance is?]

[This system is unlikely to be able to provide you with such a potion until you find a way to upgrade it to epic rarity.]

”Okay...I agree,” Milena nodded, agreeing to her system’s demand after her insistence.

”Great!” exclaimed Arabel happily. Fearing that Milena would refuse, she immediately purchased a potion to change the bloodline of the Valkyries, paying 300 System points for it, and handed the bottle to Milena.

”Here, take this,” Arabel said, handing over the potion. ”As soon as you drink it, the process of changing your bloodline will immediately begin. Once it’s over, you’ll become my Valkyrie sister,” she added with a smile.

Milena was surprised, as was Essora, who was standing behind Arabel.

”Yes, my sister,” Arabel nodded. Then, in front of the two girls, she took on her first Ice Valkyrie appearance. Elsa’s purple hair turned snow-white, as did her eyes, and four snow-white wings materialized behind her back.

”How beautiful,” — Essora muttered, standing behind him and looking at him with mild envy.

Milena’s eyes were also fixed on Arabel in her Valkyrie form. She looked at the bottle in her hands, and the realization that she, too, could become like Elsa overcame all doubts. Milena longed to become a Valkyrie.

”Milena, before you take this potion, I would like to warn you,” Arabel said after some hesitation, deciding to share the information she had learned about the Valkyries.

She talked about the existence of flaws that every Valkyrie has. However, these words did not frighten Milena much, as her System immediately notified her that there would be no problems with this.

The second aspect is gender restrictions. If Milena becomes a Valkyrie, she may only have one or two children in the future, and both of those children will be Valkyrie girls.

Although this restriction seemed somewhat strict to Milena, she did not see it as a serious problem. Her system, for some reason, claimed that these restrictions would not apply to her.

The fact is that these restrictions were imposed by the world of Junonia itself, so that the Valkyries would not reproduce too quickly. However, there are no Valkyries in their world, so there are no such restrictions. Her system hinted that Milena could give birth to as many little Valkyries as she had enough strength.

And in the end, Arabel shared with Milena the most important news — about a possible conflict with the Valkyrie race from the world of Junonia. Most likely, the Valkyrie race would not be friendly to the existence of the Valkyrie race from another world. Especially when it becomes known that they have been given the opportunity to become Valkyries with the help of strange potions.

[Host. Don’t worry about it. Conflicts are inevitable, and as you’ve already noticed, she’s a Valkyrie too. This means that you won’t be alone in your battles. And if this System Host has the opportunity to become a Valkyrie and help you in this, perhaps in the future you and she will have several more Valkyrie sisters. So you won’t be alone in this fight.]

Milena, convinced of her system, unhesitatingly uncorked the bottle and drank its contents. Her unwavering determination surprised Arabel and Essora, even after Arabel warned her about possible problems.

As in the case of Arabel and Idan, soon after, Milena was enveloped in a strange pulsating cocoon that surrounded her, as if protecting her.

”Essora, please use your Orb ability on her. It will take about a week without your help, and a little more than a day with yours,” Arabel asked.

Essora nodded, not seeing much of a problem with that.

She could activate the Sphere’s ability and leave Milena to appear and upgrade mana crystals from time to time. Essora had already calculated roughly how many crystals she needed, and the ones Idan had given her should have been enough for her immediate expenses.

Arabel left Essora in the guest room and left her with satisfaction. After opening the access portal, she moved into Irene’s House. Without showing her face to them, she went to Leo’s house to meet with him and find out if he had completed her assignments.
