The Billionaire's Heir I Never Knew Was Mine

The smile on Zachary’s face grew even brighter.

Hearing her praise felt more rewarding than closing any business deal.

The two of them continued eating while chatting about random things. Every now and then, Zachary secretly added more food to her plate whenever she wasn’t paying attention, making her laugh when she noticed.

By the time they finished lunch, Sienna leaned comfortably against her chair while taking the last sip of her latte.

Now that she finally had the energy to look around, she took in the beautiful villa surrounding them.

The interior was elegant yet warm, filled with soft colors and tasteful furniture that made the entire place feel welcoming rather than extravagant.

Then her eyes drifted toward the floor-to-ceiling glass windows.

Beyond them stretched a breathtaking white sandy beach. Gentle waves rolled onto the shore beneath a bright blue sky, and the sunlight reflected beautifully across the sea.

”This place is beautiful,” she said softly.

She remained captivated by the view, completely unaware that Zachary had stopped looking outside and was looking only at her.

A gentle smile appeared on his lips.

”Hmm,” he whispered almost to himself. ”Very beautiful.”

”Sienna.”

She turned back toward him.

”Yes?”

”Are you full now?”

She smiled and nodded.

”I am. I finally feel like I have my energy back.”

”That’s good.”

A mischievous smile slowly spread across his face.

Before she could ask what he was thinking, he stood from his chair and stood beside her.

”What’s with that smile? What’s in your mind?” she asked suspiciously.

Without answering, he slipped one arm beneath her knees and the other around her back before effortlessly lifting her into his arms.

”Zach!”

She instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck as he laughed.

”My wife,” he said with a playful grin, ”Let’s try to have another baby!”

Sienna couldn’t believe what she heard. They had rested only a few hours, and now this man wanted to do it again.

She laughed despite herself and lightly tapped his shoulder.

”I’m still tired, Zach.”

”You can rest after that. You don’t have to do anything... just rest on the bed all day.”

Holding her securely, Zachary carried her toward the bedroom. At the same time, she shook her head with an amused smile, secretly enjoying every moment of being spoiled by the man she loved.

...

At Lakeside Garden, Zachary’s house.

In the family dining room, Skylar sat quietly in his chair. Unlike usual, he hadn’t touched a single bite of his lunch. His favorite grilled lobster rested untouched on his plate, slowly growing cold. For a six-year-old boy who usually became excited whenever lobster was served, it was obvious something was weighing heavily on his mind.

Arthur stood quietly near the corner of the room. At the same time, Samantha waited beside him, ready to help if their young master needed anything. As they watched Skylar staring absentmindedly at the table, they exchanged puzzled glances.

Arthur finally leaned toward Samantha and whispered, ”Is Young Master feeling unwell? He hasn’t touched his lunch.”

Samantha nodded with the same worried expression.

”I was wondering the same thing,” she whispered back. ”This is the first time I’ve seen him lose his appetite. He doesn’t even look interested in his favorite food.”

Arthur frowned. ”Should we call Master or Madam?”

Samantha immediately shook her head.

”I don’t think that’s a good idea. They’re on their honeymoon. I’ll be the last person to bother them.”

Arthur let out a quiet sigh and looked back at Skylar. His young master still hadn’t moved. He simply rested his chin in one hand while staring at the phone beside his plate.

After another minute of silence, Arthur finally spoke.

”I’ll ask him.”

Without waiting for Samantha’s response, he walked toward the dining table and stopped a respectful distance away.

”Young Master,” he said gently, ”You look restless. Is something wrong? Don’t you like today’s lunch? I can ask the chef to prepare something else if you’d like.”

Skylar slowly lifted his head. His eyes were filled with worry.

”My mom and dad haven’t called me yet,” Skylar said quietly. ”I’m worried something happened to them.”

Arthur blinked. The heavy stone that had been sitting on his heart instantly disappeared.

’So that was the reason. The young master wasn’t sick...He simply missed his parents.’

Arthur smiled warmly and said, ”I’m sure they’re fine, Young Master. Perhaps they’re staying somewhere without a phone signal.”

Skylar narrowed his eyes suspiciously.

”Really?”

”Of course.”

”Is there actually a place without a signal?”

Arthur nodded with complete confidence. ”There are many places like that.”

Skylar looked unconvinced.

”Hmm...” Arthur pointed toward the untouched lunch. ”Why don’t you eat first? Maybe after lunch, Master and Madam will call you.”

Skylar looked at his lobster. Then on his phone. Then back at the lobster.

His little face became unusually serious.

Finally, he shook his head. ”No.”

Arthur blinked. ”No?”

”I need to test your theory first.”

”My... theory?”

Skylar nodded firmly before picking up his phone. ”If Dad really has no signal, then my call won’t go through. Right!?”

Arthur’s eyes widened. ”Young Master, perhaps we should wait a little—”

Too late.

Skylar had already pressed the call button.

Arthur and Samantha stood frozen as the phone remained on speaker.

Then...

”It connected,” Skylar announced.

Arthur nearly choked. ’Connected? That wasn’t supposed to happen.’ He thought.

Skylar held the phone closer to his ear while everyone waited. The ringing continued, but no one answered.

After a while, Skylar lowered the phone and looked at Arthur with a deeply troubled expression.

”Arthur...”

”Yes, Young Master?”

”It’s connected.”

”...Yes.”

”But Dad didn’t answer.”

Arthur forced an awkward smile. ”Perhaps... he’s busy.”

Skylar slowly nodded.

”I see.”

Arthur secretly sighed in relief. Maybe that explanation would satisfy him. But it didn’t.

Skylar suddenly stood up from his chair with determination shining in his eyes. ”Alright.”

Arthur was puzzled. ”Alright?”

”We’re going to the island.”

Arthur nearly tripped over his own feet to hear that.

”The... island?”

Skylar nodded seriously. ”Yes, the place my dad brings Mommy on a date. I’ll call Uncle Logan...he can drive us there.”

Arthur and Samantha stared at each other in horror.

’Oh no! How could Skylar crush on his parents’ honeymoon?’ Arthur thought worriedly. ’I need to stop him!’
