Reborn as a Weak Beauty Pampered by All

Chapter 434: Chapter 434: No Forcing, Trust Me, Okay?

”It was passable.”

Luo Yanqing nodded lightly and then, after a moment of silence, he recounted to Kang Li the words he had said to his biological mother, ending with, ”She shouldn’t come to our door anymore, otherwise, I will certainly not be merciful.”

”You handled it pretty well. After all, no matter what, she did give birth to you, she is your mother in terms of blood relation. If we were to have her reformed just because of what happened today, it would seem too heartless of us. As for fulfilling the legal obligations of providing for your biological mother, I have no objections.”

Kang Li only hoped that the woman would keep to her word and not think of coming to their door to make her presence felt again.

Otherwise, not to mention what the man might do, she would certainly pick up a stick and deal with it!

Luo Yanqing said, ”There’s another thing, I need to talk to you about.”

Kang Li: ”I’m listening.”

”That person will continue to work at the bureau.”

Although he did not specify the name, Kang Li didn’t need to think much to know whom Luo Yanqing meant by ”that person”, but she still chose to confirm, ”Are you talking about Comrade Shen?”

Luo Yanqing uttered an affirmative ”mm.”

Kang Li: ”She was originally working in your bureau. If not staying, does it mean she would be transferred?”

”The bureau has regulations that, considering her actions, it wouldn’t be strange at all if she were transferred, but Godfather expressly told me that she would stay as usual.”

Frankly, Luo Yanqing didn’t care at all whether Shen Yun would continue to work in the bureau; he just hoped that person would not appear in front of him.

That alone mattered, nothing else.

”I see!”

Reflective, Kang Li smiled after a while and said, ”Maybe Godfather has his own considerations! After all, ’that person’ is talented, and it would be somewhat a loss for your bureau if she were to be transferred just like that.”

Luo Yanqing: ”You’re not upset?”

”Upset? Why would I be? As long as she doesn’t provoke me, she can work wherever she wants, it doesn’t concern me.” Kang Li spoke casually, and hearing her finish, Luo Yanqing spoke, ”My thoughts are the same as yours.”

Kang Li laughed: ”That proves our values are aligned!”

Luo Yanqing: ”Mm.” acknowledging agreement.

At this, Kang Li sat up straight facing the man, then, she cleared her throat and said seriously, ”I also have something to tell you, actually, two things, so listen carefully now.”

Her phoenix eyes smiling, Luo Yanqing nodded, ”Go ahead, I promise to listen intently.”

”Your attitude is correct, I am satisfied.”

Kang Li cleared her throat again, her crystal-clear fox eyes full of satisfaction, and she said, ”The first thing is that I will go to North City TV Station to record a program every weekend; and the second thing, well... it might shock you, so please take a deep breath and prepare yourself for a shock.”

Upon hearing this, Luo Yanqing did not immediately respond, but asked, ”Record a program? What kind of program? Will it be exhausting for you?”

Kang Li: ”It’s a children’s program called ’Teacher Lizi Tells Stories’. It’s about telling stories to children, the whole program doesn’t last an hour, it’s not tiring at all; you don’t have to worry!” ”Lizi” similar to ”Li”, ’Teacher Lizi Tells Stories’ was the program title Wu Yue thought of and settled on in front of Kang Li before.

”Really not tiring?”

Luo Yanqing was skeptical. He said, ”Your health isn’t good, don’t push yourself too hard.”

”There’s no forcing, trust me, okay?”

Holding the man’s handsome face, Kang Li blinked her fox eyes seriously and said, ”I know you’re busy with work; I absolutely won’t cause you any worry.”

Grasping his little wife’s hand, Luo Yanqing said gravely:
