I Became a Medical Genius in the 80s

Chapter 1066: Chapter 1065: He Likes Men

Upon hearing Beisitian’s words, Wei Zhongxun deeply agreed. If Brother could find a girlfriend, perhaps he wouldn’t be so obsessed with his master?

But no one can say for sure, just like if he were to find a girlfriend, he fears he couldn’t let go of Zheng Lulu.

Wei Zhongyuan heard these words, and his heart felt like it sank to the bottom of a valley, the knot in his heart feeling unbearably uncomfortable.

”What’s the matter?” Wei Zhongyuan slowly opened his eyes and looked at Beisitian’s expression.

Beisitian raised her eyebrows, ”Don’t you know it yourself?”

Wei Zhongyuan remained silent. This time, he had made it too obvious, causing her to find out... but does his affection make her unhappy?

”I don’t know.” Wei Zhongyuan lowered his gaze slightly. If she continued, she would find out anyway, so he might as well be straightforward, then he would leave for distant lands.

He couldn’t be forced to find a girlfriend because of this.

Beisitian stood up, walked to Wei Zhongyuan’s bedside, and frowned at him. ”Zhong Yuan, I always thought you were a man who stood tall and strong, but this time I really don’t understand what made you wish for death. You know, if we had come a bit later, you would be having paper burned for you now!”

Wei Zhongyuan was startled and looked up. He had braced himself for harsh words from her, but hadn’t expected her to say such things.

He stared into Beisitian’s eyes, which held thin anger and confusion. Her eyes were so clear and straightforward, without a trace of extra thought.

He suddenly felt relieved and smiled bitterly in his heart. The affection he harbored hadn’t one ounce of intention to confess, because she already had a family and children. He couldn’t do something despicable like that.

He was prepared to keep it a secret for life, as this was both bitter and sweet to him. At least he could stay by the side of the woman he admired for a lifetime.

”What does this have to do with finding a girlfriend?” Wei Zhongyuan asked.

This needed to be clarified.

Beisitian sighed, ”Having a family means having responsibility, and one wouldn’t easily harbor thoughts of death anymore; they’d have to consider others.”

Wei Zhongyuan’s heart suddenly cleared up—she’s looking out for him!

In fact, the reason he had harbored thoughts of giving up back then was due to the inability to truly be with the one he admired during a time when he was mentally and physically fragile.

But when he thought of never seeing Beisitian again, he regretted. He would rather live to see her, than be separated by death.

So the moment he sensed Beisitian’s arrival, he no longer wanted to die; he wanted to see her again, see her smile, see her wisdom and intelligence, see her calm composure.

Everything about her was so beautiful that he couldn’t consider any other woman, couldn’t let anyone else into his heart.

”Wei Zhongyuan! I’m talking to you!” Beisitian was amazed to find he was daydreaming.

Did this experience change the usually cold, unapproachable Wei Zhongyuan? The usually serious and cautious person was actually distracted.

Wei Zhongyuan closed his eyes briefly. ”It’s nothing, don’t concern yourself with my matters.”

Beisitian was about to say something more when Wei Zhongxun leisurely said, ”Master, don’t worry. Don’t you know my brother actually likes men? He bent a long time ago.”

Wei Zhongyuan’s mouth twitched slightly, looking at him with a cool gaze.

Beisitian: ”...” Is there really someone who would speak so poorly of his own family?
