Rebirth in the 90s: Her Counterattack and Redemption

Chapter 1350: Chapter 804: A Perfect Match

The final address of the wedding planning company is set at Sha Hua Mall, about 100 meters away from the main store of Liangyou in Sha City, on the first floor, with an area of over 200 square meters, which is sufficient for the initial stage.

The original tenant of the shop was a communications equipment company, but due to the traffic flow not being proportional to the rent, they decided to relocate. When Luo Ye and others came to see the store, some items from the previous tenant had not yet been moved out.

The landlord is called Yan Zhu, a short, stout man in his forties. After the contract was signed, he enthusiastically offered suggestions on how to decorate and promised that as long as the renovation didn’t excessively alter or endanger safety, he wouldn’t mind.

“Thank you, Uncle.” Qu Yue politely expressed gratitude.

“No need to be so polite. You are the owner of Liangyou. I’m relieved and at ease renting this property to you. It’s my honor to help out.”

Qu Yue looked at him in confusion: “You know me?”

Yan Zhu smiled eagerly: “My daughter, Yan Wei Qin, is a classmate of yours. I’ve seen your photo.”

“Oh, oh, oh…” Qu Yue nodded repeatedly and looked towards Luo Ye, “Yan Wei Qin is Mr. Luo’s girlfriend.”

Yan Zhu’s expression stiffened slightly, then he smiled again and invited them: “Speaking of which, us having this cooperation is also fate. Why not have dinner together tonight? It’s on me!”

“Uncle Yan, you’re too kind. If anyone should be treating, it should be us. You’ve already saved us a considerable amount on this rent, and we are well aware of that.

However, everyone is quite tired today. How about we schedule another day, inviting Auntie and Wei Qin too, to make it a joyous occasion together?” Qu Yue indirectly refused Yan Zhu’s suggestion.

“Mr. Qu, let’s not talk about the rent. I know the situation of this location. Even if it wasn’t you renting, I was planning to let it go a bit more.

Continuously changing tenants is too exhausting for me. Each time it’s vacant for ten days to half a month, it’s more economical for me to reduce the price a little.

This is the first time we’ve had such a suitable transition, so it’s indeed fate. This meal, I must treat you.

I know you all are not from ordinary families and don’t lack an uncle’s meal, but it’s my heartfelt intention. Refusing would mean looking down on me.” Yan Zhu was determined not to give up and even drew closer the relationship further.

Ying Nuo leaned close to Luo Ye’s ear and whispered: “He might as well straightforwardly say to Mr. Qu, ‘Kid, I like you; be my son-in-law.’

Luo Ye laughed and pinched her silently.

After some pleasantries, they finally decided to have dinner together two days later.

Once Yan Zhu left, Xing Nong humorously poked Qu Yue: “Young Master, you’re quite a hot commodity, being pursued like this. Doesn’t it make you proud?”

“Get lost, stop talking nonsense.” Qu Yue swatted her hand away and looked at Li Wen Zhang and Sun Min, “Let’s divide the work. I’ll find the renovation team; meanwhile, you guys can research the wedding market in Sha City and get the equipment ready.”

“Okay.” Li Wen Zhang hesitated for a moment, “Mr. Qu, it’s still best to send a finance person. While mutual trust is important, it’s better to have a clear beginning to our business cooperation, don’t you think?”

“Agreed!” Qu Yue readily accepted. He trusted the other party, but over time, if someone tried to stir things up, rumors could hurt relationships. It’s better to seal any loopholes from the start.

While they were talking, Luo Ye took a phone call and returned with a helpless smile towards Sun Min and Li Wen Zhang: “Aunt Shangguan and Uncle Sun already know about your registration to Sha City.”

Sun Min immediately tensed up: “Did Nuonuo tell you?”

“No, it was my mom.” Luo Ye spread his hands, “Your mom and dad went to my house and talked with my mom. As for how the news got leaked, it starts with my aunt…”

Luo Ye explained the circumstances to them and concluded, “Aunt Shangguan’s intention is that if Sister Minmin truly wants to be with Brother-in-law, she should go home and talk about it properly to see how to handle the wedding. She hopes you can be together rightly and properly.”

“Can I trust her?” Sun Min unconsciously stepped back, “I rather think that they might trick me into going back then keep me there.”

“Does mother-in-law know where my home is?” Li Wen Zhang’s eyes showed anxiety. His parents were just honest workers who had never been involved in conflicts, fearing that they’d only take the brunt if confronted.

“Not yet, but it’s only a matter of time. With Aunt Shangguan’s capability, finding Brother-in-law’s home isn’t difficult. After all, Brother-in-law’s name is distinctive, and with him running a wedding company, narrowing down that range isn’t hard at all.”
