Longevity through Upgrading Buildings

Chapter 409: Chapter 208: Alchemy Room+

For Ji Yuan, a genuine Tier Two Alchemist, crafting Tier One Elixirs is naturally a matter of ease.

Ten days to get started, twenty days to master it proficiently.

A month later, as he looked at the dozen or so bottles of Heaven-Supporting Pills and Water-like Pills in his hands, with these elixirs... they should be able to open up the market for Dong Qian’s ”Miracle Medicine Shop.”

After all, Ji Yuan had previously investigated on All Things Island.

There are shops selling these Heaven-Supporting Pills and Water-like Pills, but the quantities are small, mostly procured from Joy Palace as ready-made pills and then resold.

The reason being that many of the herbs used to make these elixirs are found only in the territory of Joy Palace.

Ji Yuan didn’t purchase any elixirs but bought the elixir recipes, along with various herbs.

As long as the cultivators of the Water Dragon Sect don’t have too high a demand for these two kinds of elixirs... Ji Yuan is confident he can maintain a stable supply for several years.

A few years down the line, who knows, the righteous and demonic factions might have already clashed, and by then, everyone would mind their own business.

When Ji Yuan came to the Miracle Medicine Shop before, Dong Qian had already instructed Shi Xiuer.

So he didn’t need to wait for Dong Qian to return and went directly to the Miracle Medicine Shop.

As soon as he entered, Ji Yuan felt a difference from the last time. Firstly, there were many more goods displayed in the shop, and secondly... there were customers.

The last time Ji Yuan was here for two or three hours, he didn’t see any customers coming in.

But this time, he saw two female cultivators arm in arm, selecting elixirs.

Upon seeing a cultivator in a dark blue magic robe enter, they quickly clasped hands in salute, ”Greetings... greetings, Senior Uncle.”

”No need for formalities, just continue your selection,”

Ji Yuan said with a smile.

Shi Xiuer wanted to come over to pay her respects, but Ji Yuan transmitted a message for her to attend to the customers first. He then strolled around the shop, browsing casually.

Hmm... Not bad, quite a lot of items I placed here have been sold, that’s all Spirit Stones.

Perhaps because of the presence of a Foundation Establishment cultivator, the two female cultivators hurriedly left after choosing their needed elixirs... They felt uneasy staying there.

After receiving the Spirit Stones, Shi Xiuer approached and saluted, ”Junior greets Senior Brother Wu You.”

”Just call me Senior Brother, calling me Senior Uncle makes me sound old.”

In the Water Dragon Sect, it’s usually the case that Qi Cultivation Stage disciples address Foundation Establishment cultivators as Senior Uncle, but if the Foundation Establishment cultivator suggests calling them Senior Brother, it often indicates a close relationship.

”Senior Brother isn’t old at all, he’s quite young,”

Shi Xiuer said with a laugh, covering her mouth.

Regarding Senior Brother Wu You before her... she had already assumed in her heart that he was Senior Sister Dong’s partner, so this shop was actually his, the Isle Master Wuyou’s!

If that’s the case, then she definitely needed to say something nice.

”Has Senior Sister Dong come back recently?”

If Dong Qian had returned, she would definitely have checked on the shop, so asking Shi Xiuer should yield an answer.

”No, but Senior Sister Dong did send back a batch of elixirs through someone else,” Shi Xiuer replied honestly.

”Hmm, how’s business at the shop?”

At this, Shi Xiuer smiled, her almond-shaped eyes curving as she lowered her voice to say, ”With those Talismanic Elixirs that Senior Brother provided, business has been much better recently, I’ve even attended to several Foundation Establishment Senior Uncles.”

”In terms of Spirit Stones, this month’s earnings are comparable to several months’ worth before!”

Ji Yuan wasn’t surprised at all by this.

The goods were fine, the prices slightly lower, naturally attracting many customers.

”I still have some items here, take a look and appraise them, purchase them if the price is right.”

Ji Yuan handed over a Storage Bag filled with the elixirs he crafted during this time, along with magical artifacts and talismans he drew.

Included were a few Tier Two talismans and elixirs.

With no customers, Shi Xiuer seized the opportunity to inventory, but as soon as she realized the elixirs’ details, her face turned beet red.

She took out two bottles of elixirs and held them in her hands.

”Senior Brother, this... this...”

Ji Yuan remained calm, ”You know the prices, right?”

Shi Xiuer, having passed Dong Qian’s ”interview” and becoming the ”Manager” of the shop, was well-versed in the prices of various top-grade items, this was standard practice.

”Yes, I know,” Shi Xiuer took a deep breath, ”A single Heaven-Supporting Pill sells for roughly 50 Low-grade Spirit Stones, the Water-like Pill is slightly cheaper, around 45 Low-grade Spirit Stones.”

”Set the prices as you see fit, no need to lower them, as the competition is minimal, sales won’t be an issue.”

”Alright.”

Seeing her agree, but still blushing, Ji Yuan couldn’t help but tease, ”Remember to place them at the entrance, so people see them as soon as they walk in.”

”Huh?”

Shi Xiuer, being a young, inexperienced lady, turned red even on her earlobes and neck upon hearing these words.

After a while, she calmed down, and seemingly remembering something, quickly said, ”Oh right, Senior Brother, this is the earnings from this period. Would you like to take them?”

”Sure, hand it over.”

Ji Yuan was curious about how much they had earned during this period.

Shi Xiuer took a Storage Bag from her own Storage Bag, with a small label attached and neatly written words: To Senior Uncle Wu You.

With a divine sense scan, Ji Yuan found there were nearly a hundred Mid-grade Spirit Stones inside.

Not bad, not bad, it seems the Tier Two talismans sold well.

”Not bad, here’s a reward for you.”

Ji Yuan took out a Mid-grade Spirit Stone and placed it in Shi Xiuer’s hand.

”Huh?”

Shi Xiuer, looking at the Mid-grade Spirit Stone in her hand, couldn’t help but widen her eyes. For her, a Qi Cultivation Stage cultivator, 100 Low-grade Spirit Stones were quite a significant amount.

Ji Yuan had intended to say a few more words, but the Communication Talisman in his Storage Bag vibrated slightly. After perceiving it, he left immediately.

”Cultivate well, strive to reach Foundation Establishment soon.”

Shi Xiuer watched Ji Yuan’s hurried departure, then couldn’t help but glance at the elixirs in the Storage Bag, a subconscious question arising in her mind.

’I wonder if Senior Sister Dong and Senior Brother Wu You would use these elixirs...’

As soon as the thought arose, her recently composed face turned red again, and she quickly ran to the counter to inventory the remaining elixirs and talismans, forcing herself to calm down.

Ji Yuan left the shop and immediately took out Liu Yuan’s Communication Talisman, saying via transmission,

”Alright, I’m coming over now.”
