Transmigrated as a Villain, Now I'm a Yandere Loli

Chapter 42: Chapter 42: The Reason She Likes You

At Linghu Park, Ichiko was walking, but the moment she took out her phone, she suddenly froze in place.

Shin, wearing glasses beside her, had his hands in his pockets. A hint of curiosity appeared in his sharp eyes when he glanced over. ”Why did you stop?”

”An older brother of mine sent a message, which made me a little... at a loss.”

Ichiko held up her phone and handed it to Shin to see.

Shin pushed up his glasses. ”Aren’t you an orphan? You have an older brother? Also, what does he mean by asking this?”

Ichiko put down her phone and looked up at the sky.

”He is Haruko’s older brother. For a while when I was little, I lived at Haruko’s house. Yuna Ge also took great care of me. Although our relationship was formed because of Haruko, he watched me grow up, so he’s like half an older brother to me.”

”And then, I don’t understand why Yuna Ge would ask such a question!”

She scratched her beautiful hair, feeling that too many things had happened recently, and she was going to go bald.

Shin said, ”This must be related to Haruko, asking if you like his sister... Wait a minute!”

Shin found a blind spot and looked at Ichiko in shock. ”Earlier, you told me Haruko was a yandere and about the excessive things she did to you. I’ve never understood what her motive was.”

”And you wouldn’t tell me, always looking like it was hard to speak.”

”Now I understand.” Shin suddenly realized. ”Haruko became a yandere because she likes you?”

Ichiko scratched her cheek and shyly turned her face away.

She quickly turned back, spreading her hands as if asking for resonance. ”You also find it very strange, right? I’m also a girl, why would she fall for me?”

Shin’s mouth twitched. ”The possibility of her falling for you isn’t small, is it?”

Ichiko: ”???”

”We’re friends, aren’t we? Why are you still sticking up for Haruko?”

Shin walked towards the pavilion helplessly. ”A renowned psychology Professor at Cornell University once conducted a large-scale survey on sexual orientation. Among absolute heterosexuals, the proportion of males is higher than females, but among bisexuals, the proportion of females is higher than males.”

”Females are naturally drawn to strength. Why do many young girls in middle and high school relationships mostly like to get involved with some delinquents? Because their minds weren’t mature then, and they wouldn’t consider things like careers or futures.”

”Being able to fight, being very capable, and acting a little more mature than their peers is considered excellent in the eyes of some people.”

”We cannot view children with adult thinking. Family reasons, social environment, and the breadth of exposure all affect a person’s thinking.”

”You once told me that Haruko was saved by you after being bullied. At that time, she had no friends, and even the teachers didn’t favor her. Your appearance became her only.”

Shin held up one finger, then extended a second one.

”Secondly, as a companion you grew up with, you were the strong dominant party. Children’s admiration, yearning, outward focus, and dependence can easily lead to negative changes due to learning incorrect knowledge.”

”For example, watching a melodramatic romance drama.”

”What the TV says about being together forever is the beauty of the male and female leads confessing to each other; after watching the drama, if you learn to say a couple of things from the TV in reality, you’ll definitely be misunderstood.”

”There’s also a very important point.” Shin looked Ichiko up and down and said helplessly, ”You’re too good-looking.”

Ichiko paused. ”That counts too?”

”Although you’re easily swayed and don’t have much initiative, you’re decisive in your actions, and with high looks, isn’t it normal to be popular with both sexes?”

Ichiko was speechless for a moment. ”This...”

Shin counted on his fingers again. ”Look, you became the object of Haruko’s dependence, you gave her a sense of security, you occasionally said some ambiguous sweet talk, you grew up hand in hand, and you hooked pinkies for a hundred years.”

”Let alone Haruko being a girl, even if she were an alien, she’d have to develop some other thoughts!”

Shin sighed. ”Miss Ichiko, it’s a society of free love now. One day, if Haruko scrolls through Douyin, plays some ACG, and a lot of yuri content is pushed to her, at the age of first love, who can resist that?”

The more Ichiko listened to Shin’s analysis, the more she sweated profusely. ”You... stop talking. What you’re saying is giving me so much pressure!”

Shin glanced at her indifferently. ”See, you’re avoiding it again.”

”I...” Ichiko pouted her small mouth aggrievedly. ”I came to find you to analyze whether Haruko is a yandere or not, okay? Don’t change the subject!”

”Ah, yes, yes, yes.”

Shin shrugged and chose to comply.

Sitting on the chair with one hand propping his chin, he asked, ”So, why do you think she’s not a yandere now?”

Ichiko sat opposite him, her expression serious.

She summarized and repeated what Lala had said earlier.

And added her own analysis. ”Generally speaking, yanderes don’t know they are yanderes, but Haruko said something like that. This has already formed a paradox!”

Shin propped his chin with one hand and said speechlessly, ”The fact that you can ask this question means you just want me to answer that she’s actually not a yandere, right?”

”I didn’t...”

”Stop!” Shin reached out and interrupted Ichiko. ”I’ve also studied psychology. Although I only learned the basics, I can tell that you just can’t believe Haruko is a yandere, which is why you’re stubbornly trying to find proof.”

Ichiko became anxious. ”But it really is a paradox!”

Shin: ”So, do you want me to tell you this: Haruko kidnapped you, confessed to you crazily, self-harmed, threatened to jump off a building, and everything was just an act to play with you?”

”Ever since Haruko confessed to me because she was jealous of you, I’ve felt that this person is very twisted.”

He and Ichiko were just ordinary opposite-sex friends, and it’s still the same now. He didn’t understand why Haruko was jealous at that time.

Shin still remembers. When school started, he ran into Ichiko and helped her move some luggage, and as a result, he was treated with hostility by Haruko.

Hostility is hostility, but then she inexplicably came over to confess, which really threw Shin off.

Although it was only that one time.

But since she was hostile towards me, why would her chosen ”revenge” be a confession?

Dressed up like that ghost, Shin didn’t like it either, and scared her away with just one look.

Talking up to this point, under Shin’s layer-by-layer analysis, Ichiko finally lowered her head like a defeated dog. ”Okay, I still can’t quite believe the fact that Haruko is a yandere and likes me.”

Shin looked at Ichiko’s dejected appearance and couldn’t help but sigh in his heart. ”If you really want proof, there are currently two methods you can try.”

”What methods?”

Ichiko’s eyes lit up.

Deep down, she still had a tiny bit of hope that Haruko wasn’t a yandere.

Hoping it was all an act by her.

Shin said indifferently, ”The first method is, aren’t you going to be Sento’s Miss in a couple of days? Tell Haruko that you’re going your separate ways with her, and then see her reaction. Do you dare to try?”
