Transmigrated as a Villain, Now I'm a Yandere Loli

Chapter 21: Chapter 21: God is Knocking on the Door

Drip-drop~ Drip-drop~

The rain was gradually getting lighter. Inari closed his umbrella, shook the rain off his body, and rushed into the girls’ dormitory.

Fortunately, the power was out at this time, so he was quick and no one noticed him.

After being stuck in traffic for half an hour and receiving a call from Ichiko, he finally arrived here.

His mood was as low as the dark clouds; he knew something very serious had happened tonight.

It was also the first time he had seen Ichiko so anxious.

But the person she was anxious about wasn’t himself!

Moreover, he still didn’t know what had happened, only acting as a tool person for the entire night.

First, he watched Sento show off. Just when he finally had a chance to make his presence known, he got stuck in traffic on the way and couldn’t even help Ichiko. After finally arriving at the school, he received a call from Ichiko saying she needed help at the girls’ dormitory?

And it was Haruko’s favor!

He felt like a tool.

This made Inari inexplicably jealous.

Even if the object of his jealousy, Haruko, was a girl.

”But after tonight, Ichiko’s impression of me will definitely improve a lot, right?”

Inari climbed the stairs, thinking with anticipation.

Then he reached the rooftop.

He didn’t even bother with his umbrella, hurrying to find Ichiko.

Immediately after, his smile froze.

Under the rain shelter, he saw two beautiful girls huddled together.

Ichiko held the curled-up Haruko in her arms, as if afraid she would catch a cold, doing her best to hug this delicate loli, and voluntarily leaning half of her body out into the rain to help Haruko shield herself from the raindrops carried by the wind.

Both seemed to have fallen asleep from exhaustion, and water droplets had made their beautiful hair stick together.

Looking at the two beautiful girls leaning on each other, Inari admitted.

He was jealous.

This kind of Mary Sue plot development should be for the male and female leads, right? What right did Haruko have?

Could it be that I got the wrong script?

His heart was in turmoil, but Inari quickly woke Ichiko up, ”Ichiko, wake up, don’t sleep here, you’ll catch a cold!”

Her shoulder was patted, and Ichiko suddenly woke up.

She subconsciously shouted, ”Haruko!”

Feeling the hot softness in her arms, Ichiko felt much more at ease, ”She’s still here, it’s good as long as she’s okay.”

This scene made Inari’s expression even uglier.

His face was twisted with jealousy!

He had pursued Ichiko for three months, and he hadn’t even held her hand!!!

Fortunately, the night hid his expression.

Inari took a deep breath, calmed himself down, and comforted himself that Haruko and Ichiko had a good relationship, they were best friends, and it was normal for them to be intimate.

They’re girls, it’s very normal like this.

He reached out and pulled Ichiko up, ”Let’s go, we’ll go down first.”

”Okay.” Ichiko leaned against the wall and looked at Haruko again, ”My legs are a bit numb, can you please help?”

”No problem.”

Inari squatted down, intending to pick up Haruko, but when he saw a color on the ground different from the clear rainwater, his eyes widened.

”What is this?”

He asked doubtfully and immediately noticed many marks on Haruko’s hands.

He had no idea how such marks got there.

Did she bump into something, or was she hurt by someone?

He took a deep breath and looked at Ichiko, ”Is this what you meant by life-threatening danger? Does she want to leave this world forever?”

Ichiko was silent for a moment, ”Let’s take Haruko to the Hospital first, I’ll explain to you later.”

”Okay!”

Easily picking up Haruko, the two quickly went downstairs.

After getting her into the car, they both breathed a sigh of relief.

Inari calmly started the ignition, ”Let’s send her to the nearest Hospital. My private Hospital is too far from here. She has a high fever now, and I’m afraid something might happen if we delay.”

Ichiko sat beside Haruko, holding her hand, ”I hope there’s no traffic jam.”

”If there’s another traffic jam, I’ll just call for a plane!”

Inari said fiercely, turned on the headlights, and quickly drove away from the school.

It would still take some time to get to the Hospital, and he couldn’t help but glance in the rearview mirror.

He saw Ichiko constantly using tissues to tend to Haruko, first wiping the water from her hair and neck, then wiping away the cold sweat that had beaded on her.

Her eyes were filled with heartache, and her movements were gentle.

Inari withdrew his gaze and asked, ”How many more minutes until we reach the Hospital? Can you tell me what’s going on now? And what about Haruko’s injuries?”

Ichiko stopped her actions and bit her lower lip.

Haruko had gradually returned to normal, but that scene seemed to be etched into her soul.

She slowly said, ”My mind is also in chaos. I haven’t had much contact with Haruko these past two months, and I don’t know what happened to her. These marks on her hands, she did them herself.”

After thinking for a long time, Ichiko still concealed the matter of Haruko giving her a gift.

She knew Inari’s feelings for her.

She was afraid he would be as drastic as Sento if she told him such a horrifying thing.

But even telling half of it was shocking enough.

Inari had seen many strange things, but even so, his eyes were a bit shocked, ”You mean, Haruko has always had a tendency for self-harm?”

The unnaturalness on her fair and tender little hands was heartbreaking to look at.

Saying this, Inari suddenly remembered something and abruptly said, ”Wait a minute, maybe it wasn’t voluntary, maybe she was forced.”

”Forced?” Ichiko was stunned for a moment.

She knew it should have been Haruko’s voluntary act, and it was for her.

But why would Inari come to such a conclusion?

Inari explained, ”Actually, yesterday, I had someone investigate what happened to Haruko over the past two months. Perhaps without your protection, she hasn’t been doing well these past two months.”

Ichiko frowned.

Inari: ”Leaving aside the matter of her targeting you, outside of these things, Haruko has actually been in a state of long-term bullying.”

”Her home is near here, right? Her high school isn’t far either. Although she’s entered university, her high school relationships haven’t changed at all. She’s a day student, and she was often blocked at her door by delinquent girls on her way home in the past.”

”And at school, there are also a few guys who got in through connections. She’s bullied at school and blocked at home; a fool like her can easily develop psychological trauma.”

Inari let out a breath, ”If she was forced, it’s not strange for her to harm herself.”

Ichiko gradually fell silent after hearing this.

Without a doubt, Inari found a very good excuse for her.

Ichiko knew that a large reason for Haruko becoming like this was still herself. Before, she had just subconsciously avoided what happened in the basement, unwilling to think about it.

But just now, holding Haruko.

While waiting for Inari under the rain shelter, feeling the delicate body in her arms gradually warming up, Ichiko also calmly recalled what she said in the basement.

—Ichiko, it’s always been you I liked!

—You always told me that I was your most precious friend, your most important person, the person you liked the most!

—Since you told me all that, why did you betray me!

Leaning against the seat, Ichiko’s throat felt a bit choked.

She looked at the cloudy sky, and lightning seemed to fall along with her gaze, saying to her:

You gave her hope, guided her thoughts, and when she liked, clung to, and depended on you hopelessly, you brought her despair.

Since that’s the case, why do you still care about her?

The rain beat against the window, as if God’s hand was knocking on the door, urging her to open it quickly and send Haruko away.

The whistling wind seemed to whisper in Ichiko’s ear: Rather than the girl beside you endure this miserable life, it would be better to just end it all and return.
