Supreme Sword God

Chapter 471: Chapter 470: Suspicion, Little Phoenix Returns!

Ye Chen concealed himself once more, waiting for those few members of the Iron Armor Race to chase after him.

Before long, four warriors of the Iron Armor Race appeared in Ye Chen’s line of sight.

They were all very cautious, and there was no chance for a surprise attack anymore.

Ye Chen simply charged directly at them.

The four from the Iron Armor Race froze in surprise.

Why was there a member of the Demon Race here?

Out of hostility toward the Demon Race, even though they hadn’t planned to attack immediately, they still erupted with power to intimidate.

”Stop!”

”Why are you, a member of the Demon Race, here?!”

”Best explain yourself clearly, or don’t blame us for being rude!”

Ye Chen stopped in front of these four and said, ”We are acting on the orders of His Highness Moss, spreading out to find the Human Asura.

I happened to pass by here and encountered the Human Asura; he seemed to be badly injured, but I couldn’t stop him, and there wasn’t time to notify His Highness Moss. Since you’re already here, why not cooperate with me to capture the Human Asura? Then you will gain credit!”

The eyes of the four Iron Armor Race warriors shone brightly.

They had lost their target and were worried about where to continue pursuing!

As for the Demon guy in front of them talking about credit, they completely ignored him.

These Demon folks came to the Celestial Realm with this arrogant demeanor!

”Tell us, where did the Human Asura go?”

Ye Chen randomly pointed in a direction.

The four warriors of the Iron Armor Race didn’t bother speaking with Ye Chen anymore and directly chased in the direction he pointed.

”Wait for me!” Ye Chen shouted, chasing after them.

In his hand, the long Demon saber was raised high, aiming at the back of an Iron Armor Race warrior’s head!

Suddenly, a flash of gold under his feet, his speed skyrocketed, catching up in an instant. With both hands, he swung the saber down hard!

”Boom!”

The violent force directly smashed the head of this Iron Armor Race warrior into fragments.

The other three Iron Armor Race warriors all turned back angrily.

But what greeted them was a fierce Sword Qi.

The Seven-Star Sword Array exploded once more, and seven top-grade spiritual swords turned another Iron Armor Race warrior into a sieve!

Controlling the raging Celestial Demon Qi, Ye Chen poured it into the long demon saber and then flung the sword away.

This saber of not low grade could not withstand such an explosive burst of Celestial Demon Qi.

”Boom!”

The long saber exploded.

The explosion blew away the remaining two Iron Armor Race warriors, the terrifying storm leaving them in a wretched state!

”Buzz!”

A clear sword’s cry resounded.

The Celestial Mark Sword appeared in Ye Chen’s hand, and with a sweeping motion, countless threads of Sword Qi wrapped around.

Wood Extreme Thousand Entwined Sword!

The Sword Qi entwined like vines, binding the two Iron Armor Race warriors in mid-air.

Then, from Ye Chen’s Sea of Consciousness, the vast Spiritual Power surged, transforming into two Spiritual Power hammers, smashing fiercely towards these two individuals.

They had already seen his secret, so they needed to be taken out in one fell swoop, without leaving them the slightest chance to catch their breath!

”Boom boom!”

His Spiritual Power evolved into the Chaotic Cloak Celestial Spirit Hammer, stomping on the two warriors of the Iron Armor Race who bled from their orifices and became dazed. Wielding his sword, Ye Chen cut down like slicing melons, one slash per person!

After the slaughter, Ye Chen’s Celestial Demon Qi erupted once more, trying to leave more traces of Demon Race battle, then disposed of all the bodies.

He needed to make the act convincing!

Leaving the bodies here would be too obvious.

Of course, he selectively scattered some items belonging to the victims around the place.

After the cleanup, Ye Chen walked away casually!

He had done everything he needed to; next, he would look for an opportunity to deepen the hatred between them.

It would be best to start with the Celestial Eye Race since Tong Yue from that race had personally experienced the last incident and would surely explode with anger, triggered with just a spark!

About half an hour later.

Prince Tie Zhan of the Iron Armor Race, leading over fifty Iron Armor Race warriors, found the place where Ye Chen had obliterated the evidence.

”Why is there a lingering presence of the Demon Race here?” Tie Zhan frowned.

”Prince Tie Zhan... they are dead!”

A warrior of the Iron Armor Race found some belongings of their companions nearby and immediately brought them to Tie Zhan.

Upon receiving them, Tie Zhan’s expression instantly changed, erupting with an extremely turbulent aura!

”The Demon Race, it must be the Demon Race’s doing!”

”We encountered the Human Asura; though he ambushed us... by the time he escaped, he was already severely injured and had lost any fighting strength!”

The two who had gone to inform Tie Zhan were righteously indignant.

Tie Zhan’s expression was grim.

He hadn’t participated in a hunting battle for a long time; this time he had just joined, and within half a day of the hunting battle’s commencement, more than twenty of their Iron Armor Race elites had already perished!

The loss was too great.

Before, judging by the battlefield traces, it was due to a human ambush!

But now... it was very likely the Demon Race causing trouble from behind!

”Prince Tie Zhan, we absolutely cannot swallow this anger; the Demon Race has gone too far!”

”Though the big picture is indeed important, we still can’t let the Demon Race walk all over us without consequence. If not addressed now, the Demon Race will only grow even more outrageous in the future!”

”We must settle this score here; otherwise, after the hunting battle concludes, this issue will be forgotten again.”

The exceedingly furious warriors of the Iron Armor Race were all clamoring to go and kill those twenty Demon Race individuals!

Tie Zhan took a deep breath and said, ”Calm down, everyone.

The Demon Race is indeed arrogant, disregarding us, but there is something odd about this matter.

Our warriors were chasing the Human Asura, yet the Demon Race struck against us. This prince truly cannot fathom why they would do so!”

”Could it be that the Demon Race and humans have reached some sort of underhanded agreement?”

”Or perhaps the Demon Race wanted to snatch the kill of the Asura and thus struck against our warriors!”

”In any case, the Demon Race cannot wash their hands of this affair!”

Tie Zhan furrowed his brows and said, ”Everyone, please restrain yourselves first. As for this matter, I, Tie Zhan, certainly won’t let it slide. When we find the Demon Race, we will confront them face-to-face. If it is confirmed that this was indeed the Demon Race’s doing, this prince will never let those Demons leave alive!”

......

The next two days were relatively calm.

The three major alien races and the Demon Race failed to locate the hiding humans.

And Ye Chen did not wander around anymore, instead staying in a cave to cultivate.

A few days ago, he indeed suffered some injuries.

Of course, the problem of injuries was resolved within half a day.

The reason he stayed in the cave for two days was that the Little Phoenix was about to recover.

He was waiting for the Little Phoenix to emerge!

If the Heaven and Earth Fire Seed Red Flame Spiritual Flame Origin in his Dantian were robust, Ye Chen wouldn’t need the Little Phoenix’s help and could elevate his combat power significantly.

But as the problem was present, his Red Flame Spirit Flame couldn’t be used, so he had to rely on the Little Phoenix for help in spitting fire!

Ye Chen had previously estimated that with his current combat abilities, directly confronting the princes and princesses of the three major alien races would be quite challenging.

And if he were to fight against that Demon, Moss... the chances were slim.

But with the Little Phoenix, he wouldn’t be afraid at all.

The fire-breathing Little Phoenix, even without the Red Flame Spirit Flame, significantly enhanced the explosive power, let alone now!
