Chapter 415: Chapter 414: Three Altars—None of You Will Leave Alive!

Ye Chen made up his mind to participate in the Heavenly Blessing Ceremony of the Three Alien Races!

First, he was very interested in the Power of Rules rewards from this Heavenly Blessing Ceremony.

Second, this time the alien races specified that he should go, and even promised triple rewards according to the old rules, which means just by getting into the top three once, he could rescue three hundred captured humans from the alien race’s prison.

He Taiyuan looked troubled and said, ”Asura, listen to me first!”

”Please go ahead, Elder He.”

”The aliens’ heavenly blessing, the rewards brought down by the Power of Rules, actually have no effect on us humans. The three stages of the Heavenly Blessing Ceremony are specifically targeted at the abilities of the Celestial Eye Race, Iron Armor Race, and Green Ghost Race.”

Ye Chen replied, ”No problem, even if we don’t get these rewards, it’s worth exchanging them for the return of three hundred people.”

”They want to kill you during the Heavenly Blessing Ceremony!” He Taiyuan emphasized.

”If they want to kill me, let’s see if they have the strength!”

Seeing Ye Chen’s firm stance, He Taiyuan no longer tried to persuade him and instead explained the related details to him again.

The alien races shout for the top human talents to attend every Heavenly Blessing Ceremony they hold.

During this process, the Three Emperors of the Alien Race also made a Daoist Oath with He Taiyuan.

Aside from the competition within the Heavenly Blessing Ceremony itself, the other alien races are not allowed to target the human elite.

Participation in the Heavenly Blessing Ceremony is restricted for both humans and aliens.

This grinding by the Power of Rules is only aimed at the younger generation; only those under thirty can attend, and those who have received rewards three times from the Heavenly Blessing Ceremony cannot participate again.

Anyway, on the human side, those who performed outstandingly in the hunting operations are targeted by the aliens, using the bait of releasing some imprisoned humans to lure and kill the human talents through the Heavenly Blessing Ceremony.

Currently, the human who has attended the Heavenly Blessing Ceremony the most is Li Tianming, known for the twin swords, having participated seven times in total.

All seven times, he barely survived.

Li Tianming made it into the top three twice, rescuing two hundred people.

Tang Hao also attended the Heavenly Blessing Ceremony three times, rescuing one hundred people.

The more Ye Chen learned about the Heavenly Blessing Ceremony, the stronger his determination to participate became.

If Tang Hao could make it into the top three once, surely he can too.

During the last entry into the extraterritorial area, Ye Chen admitted that his strength was far less than Tang Hao’s.

But at that time, he was only at the Primordial Embryo Realm Eighth Layer!

Now... he has reached the First Layer of Transcendence!

Ye Chen believes he is quite superior to Tang Hao, so there should be no issue!

A moment later.

At the human habitat, Li Tianming, equipped with a long knife and a long sword, and Tang Hao, carrying a tattered long knife, arrived outside He Taiyuan’s residence.

”Elder He, I’m going to participate in the Heavenly Blessing Ceremony!” Li Tianming shouted.

Tang Hao also said, ”I’m going too!”

He Taiyuan led Ye Chen and walked out of the house.

When Li Tianming and Tang Hao saw Ye Chen wearing the blood-colored Asura mask, their expressions froze slightly.

Ever since they saw this Asura last time, they hadn’t encountered him again... Unexpectedly, Asura had been at Elder He’s place all along!

He Taiyuan said, ”Since you also decided to go, I won’t stop you, but beware of your limits; each person can only participate in one stage.”

”I have experience with the Iron Armor Race, I’ll take the second stage!” Tang Hao said.

Li Tianming said, ”Elder He, I can handle both the first and third stages!”

Ye Chen’s gaze shifted slightly, knowing the first stage is for warriors of the Celestial Eye Race, he said, ”The illusion realm of the Celestial Eye Race cannot interfere with me; let me take the first stage.”

Elder He looked at Li Tianming and said, ”Tianming, take the third stage. Your speed is indeed advantageous, and dealing with the Green Ghost Race is also your forte.”

Li Tianming didn’t say anything else, just nodded.

Then, He Taiyuan waved his hand, and two long knives and a long sword flew out of the Storage Ring, all top-grade magical artifacts!

”These were brought by Asura last time; use these new weapons to battle!” He Taiyuan said.

Although Ye Chen also brought a batch of Daoist artifacts this time, He Taiyuan didn’t give them.

Daoist artifacts are too conspicuous.

Very easily, it would raise suspicion among the alien races.

Moreover, Li Tianming and Tang Hao are both at Unity Realm; top-grade magical artifacts are sufficient.

With their level of strength, using Daoist artifacts would require refining, otherwise, they wouldn’t be able to unleash the power of the Daoist artifacts.

Now, with the battle imminent, there’s no time.

Tang Hao took the brand-new long knife, swung it, and laughed heartily, ”Hahaha, this time, I’ll definitely chop several Iron Armor Race bastards!”

Li Tianming, not one to speak much, showed an expression of excitement after replacing his swords.

He Taiyuan said, ”Let’s go!”

With that, He Taiyuan’s power surged forth, carrying the three towards the location of the Heavenly Blessing Ceremony hosted by the aliens.

The rest of the humans at the habitat watched their departing backs flying off and bowed down in salutation!

......

About half an hour later.

He Taiyuan and Ye Chen fell before three grand altars.

The three altars stood tall, densely staircased.

Around the altars, were already full of members from the three alien races.

An Iron Armor Race strongman with skin glowing with a faint golden light sneered, ”Blind old dog, you’re pretty bold this time, bringing all three at once.”

”Li Tianming, Tang Hao, plus the newly emerged Asura, tut-tut, these three must die here today. Without them, you humans are bound to lose the next hunting operation!” A Green Ghost Race strongman snorted coldly.

The Celestial Eye Race strongman, with an indifferent expression, said, ”Humans have lost ninety-seven times in the hunting operation; once it reaches a hundred times, you blind old thing must obediently return the one-tenth Power of Rules, letting you survive for forty more years; all this is about to end!”

He Taiyuan stood before Ye Chen and the others, his powerful aura bursting forth, shielding against all gazes and intimidation, said coolly, ”Our humans will take on one stage each, stop the nonsense and let’s begin!”

The Celestial Eye Race strongman immediately stepped forward and said, ”The same old rule, Celestial Eye Race initiates the first stage!”

With these words, the vertical eye in the strongman’s brow shot out a special light beam, piercing into the first altar.

”Buzz!”

The top of the first altar suddenly emitted a screen of light, dropping around it, encompassing the whole altar.

Then, nine young warriors from the Celestial Eye Race darted out, landing at the altar’s edge.

Each stage has only ten participating spots.

He Taiyuan mentioned earlier that humans would take on one stage each, so the Celestial Eye Race promptly sent nine out!

These nine fellows were all at the Unity Realm!

The strongest one at the Unity Realm Fifth Layer!

Since they are all under thirty and those rewarded three times by the Heavenly Blessing Ceremony can’t enter, in terms of cultivation level, they can’t be absurdly strong.

”Elder He, I’m going,” Ye Chen said, then dashed forward.

Once Ye Chen stood at the edge of the first altar.

The eyes of the nine Celestial Eye Race warriors turned sharply to him.

”We received info last time that you were only at the Primordial Embryo Realm, didn’t expect you’ve reached the First Layer of Transcendence; guess all your human resources were spent on you.”

”Hahaha, barely just into the First Layer of Transcendence, a mere waste; the instant you enter the altar will be your moment of death!”

”Wearing a blood-colored mask and dare call yourself Asura, deluded fool; later, I’ll surely smash your mask and head together!”

The nine warriors from the Celestial Eye Race, one after the other.

Their gaze and tone were filled with disdain towards Ye Chen.

Based on the info they received, this human Asura last time only managed to kill Iron Armor Race’s Tie Shan by collaborating with Tang Hao.

Now, no one accompanies this Asura.

Besides, once inside the altar, countless powerful illusions appear – the ideal battlefield for the Celestial Eye Race, with them nine against one!

Ye Chen looked at the nine Unity Realm warriors beside him from the Celestial Eye Race and sneered, ”I promise none of you will leave here alive!”
