Martial Arts: I Have Diligence Reward System

Everything is ready, just missing the final push.

Su Yue lay on a hospital bed in the best hospital of West City, smiling a bit foolishly.

No choice.

Beaten black and blue by Li Duozhi, although the injuries weren’t severe, external wounds were inevitable, his facial features slightly deformed.

Li Duozhi is not stupid.

He might have guessed something, so now when he fights Su Yue, his strategy mixes in regular beatings.

Before, Su Yue would just end up coughing up blood.

But now, Li Duozhi focuses on making Su Yue look shameful, specifically aiming for the face.

Although Su Yue’s realm barrier continually breaks, his personal image indeed somewhat collapses.

But it’s not important.

Take one more beating tomorrow, and I’ll succeed completely.

”Maybe I should wear a helmet tomorrow, he always targets my face, better not ruin my looks.”

Su Yue pondered while lying on the bed.

As for injuries, Su Yue has money now, he bought the best pills, and his recovery is swift.

Unknowingly, dawn arrived.

But before Su Yue could be discharged, Zhao Jiangtao unexpectedly pushed the door open and entered.

”Principal, are you looking for me?”

Su Yue was taken aback.

This early in the morning, did the principal really have to come to the hospital to find me?

Is there something wrong?

Su Yue felt a bad premonition.

”How are the injuries?”

Zhao Jiangtao’s tone was indeed a bit solemn.

Not only solemn, but also a bit melancholy, like he just returned from a gravesite.

”The injuries are fine, barring any unforeseen circumstances, I can break through today.”

Su Yue nodded.

He felt a bit nervous.

”Today something unexpected might happen, let me first introduce you to someone.

”This is Senior Yuan Xingzi from the Dao Sect!”

Zhao Jiangtao pointed to the corner of the ward.

As he spoke, Su Yue turned his head.

Buzz!

In an instant, his scalp tingled with fright.

Su Yue is not afraid of murder, not afraid of danger, not even afraid of zombie puppets.

But even so, it’s strange.

Su Yue loved listening to ghost stories as a child, so he’s especially afraid of ghosts.

Yes.

The kind of ghosts in the traditional sense of the Divine Land, that pop up under beds, in toilets, on ceilings, in wardrobes, or even in the back seat of cars, covered in blood, with empty pants legs, no killing force, just meant to scare people.

Su Yue couldn’t understand why a head hiding in a toilet wouldn’t worry about being suffocated.

And Yuan Xingzi’s current state met all of Su Yue’s fantasies about ghosts.

Pale as wax, skeletal, with unusually murky eyes, wearing a gray-white gown, hair disheveled, truly like a corpse.

Su Yue carefully sensed, he couldn’t even detect this person’s aura.

”Hello, Senior Yuan Xingzi!”

Su Yue took a deep breath, after all, with Zhao Jiangtao present, he was not afraid to stay with a ghost.

Mysterious Dao Sect?

Shouldn’t be a ghost, quite scary though.

”Apologies if my appearance startled you.”

Yuan Xingzi nodded lightly.

His voice was particularly hoarse, like sandpaper rubbing.

”No, no, senior misunderstood, I’m just not fully healed yet!”

Su Yue came to his senses, quickly waving his hand.

His expression was somewhat disrespectful to the elderly, truly shameful!

”Su Yue, Senior Yuan Xingzi has made countless contributions to the Divine Land, respected even by Marshal Yuan Longhan.

”Senior Yuan Xingzi, you can have a conversation with Su Yue, I’ll return to West Martial first!”

Facing Yuan Xingzi, even the principal seemed somewhat reserved.

”Mm, thank you, Principal Zhao!”

Yuan Xingzi nodded plainly.

”Su Yue, I’m leaving now. If there’s anything, you can find me afterwards!”

Zhao Jiangtao nodded, closing the door.

Deathly silence!

After Zhao Jiangtao left, the ward plunged into a deathlike stillness.

Three minutes later!

Su Yue’s back was drenched in cold sweat, he couldn’t bear this kind of oppression.

”Senior Yuan Xingzi, would you... like some hot water?”

Su Yue broke the awkwardness.

”Su Yue, I came to West City not for anything major, just to teach you a martial technique.

”Of course, you can refuse me!”

Yuan Xingzi began speaking.

”Martial technique?

”What martial technique?”

Such a good thing?

Su Yue’s heart pounded wildly; Yuan Xingzi was clearly Ninth Grade, an esteemed Ninth Grade, coming specifically to teach him a martial technique.

This definitely wasn’t ordinary stuff.

Though it couldn’t be an earth-shattering technique, an excellent one for sure.

But why come specially for me?

”This technique is called Storm Sphere, theoretically an unmatched technique, but due to certain special circumstances, it was ultimately modified into an excellent technique.

”Moreover, only Martial Artists past the intermediate level of Qi Ring can barely practice it.

”Among this generation of Wuda Students, you’re the only one I found. Actually, the Dao Sect has a few disciples who can learn it, but they don’t participate in the Divine Land’s wars, so learning it would be pointless!”

Yuan Xingzi briefly introduced.

”Lan... basketball? Like the sport basketball?”

Su Yue was stunned.

Thankfully, it doesn’t involve learning singing, dancing, and rap, otherwise, how awkward it would be, I’d have to part my hair in the middle and wear suspenders.

Moreover, Su Yue was even more curious about this martial technique.

Just how powerful it must be to require surpassing the intermediate level of Qi Ring.

No, I’m still a peak Third Grade, not counted as an intermediate Martial Artist yet.

”Not the sport basketball you mentioned.”

Buzz!

Yuan Xingzi shook his head.

He didn’t use more words to explain, in the air above the ward, a surge of Qi Blood condensed into the two big words ’Storm Sphere!’

”Senior, I haven’t completely broken through to Fourth Grade yet, can I learn it?”

Su Yue asked again.

”You can learn, but you’ll have to wait until after reaching Fourth Grade to perform it.

”Sorry, I may not live much longer, and I have a lot to do, so I’m in a bit of a rush.”

Yuan Xingzi explained again.
