Martial Arts: I Have Diligence Reward System

Only by thoroughly mastering all three fundamental auxiliary tactics and being able to deploy them at will, can one participate in the activation of the Twilight Clock.

For a typical Martial Artist, mastering these three auxiliary tactics completely would take at least two years.

Two years.

Nowadays, Martial Artists can no longer afford to waste time on auxiliary tactics.

Of course, Su Yue is an anomaly, not confined to the realm of humankind.

A decade or so ago, being adept in the three fundamental auxiliary tactics was also a key recognition by the Divine Land’s official authorities.

auxiliary Martial Artists.

Theoretically, it’s impossible to gather them.

The second requirement is the Clock Keeper.

The Clock Keeper must be a Grandmaster and must painstakingly cultivate a unique Qi chain.

The Qi chain is equivalent to the clock’s mainspring.

Although Sima Lingling is unsure how difficult cultivating a Qi chain actually is, he can sense the desperation of the writers through the records.

Compared to the third condition, the first two can be considered relatively easy.

In the past.

Finding 50 auxiliary Martial Artists was not difficult at all.

Even having a Grandmaster-level auxiliary as the Clock Keeper wasn’t unheard of, and despite the difficulty, Divine Land Martial Artists never feared challenges.

The mentor was once a Clock Keeper.

Yet the third condition requires opportunity.

The core of the Twilight Clock originated from the Yangxiang Race, and is unusually fragile, thus it cannot withstand excessively intense Qi Blood when activated.

But to propel the Twilight Clock, initiating the clock core is the first step.

If the clock core cannot be activated, everything remains a fantasy.

To initiate the clock core, it first requires a young auxiliary Martial Artist, with a maximum age limit of 20.

This Martial Artist must be proficient in tactics and understand the principles of tactics.

Moreover, he must have mastery over three auxiliary tactics, which serve as the key to activation.

Simultaneously, initiating the clock core also requires substantial Qi Blood as a foundation.

Moreover, a Martial Artist can only initiate the Twilight Clock once in their lifetime, a necessary measure given the core’s origin from the Yangxiang Race, a defensive mechanism of their mystical device.

Due to these stringent requirements, each activation of the Twilight Clock is regarded as an omen.

It foretells the emergence of a future great commander.

This is easily understood.

The youth capable of activating the clock core has already surpassed the essence of exceptional talent.

A future great commander is therefore unsurprising.

”Lingling, I heard you have two disciples; perhaps it’s wiser not to mislead them. Let them switch to Martial Martial Dao training, after all, Wuda is very crucial in these years!”

Lu Jianghao polished the Twilight Clock repeatedly.

Then, he raised his head, casting a glance at Sima Lingling.

”Mentor, one of my two disciples is a Qi and Blood Martial Artist who plans to return and inherit the family business after graduation.

”The other disciple... he is quite special!”

Sima Lingling shook his head.

Lu Jianghao, due to the decline of auxiliary Martial Artists, never paid attention to Divine Land news, unaware of Su Yue’s situation.

Yet Sima Lingling still felt a twinge of heartache.

The mentor has changed.

In the past, the teacher advised these disciples to recruit several auxiliary Martial Artists, striving not to sever the tradition of the auxiliary line.

But now, perhaps his heart is resigned.

”Well, Qi and Blood Martial Artists are fine too!”

Lu Jianghao nodded.

The Twilight Clock gleamed brightly under his diligent polishing.

”Mentor, is the Twilight Clock on the verge of shattering?”

Sima Lingling inquired.

She observed numerous cracks on the clock’s surface.

”The core of the Twilight Clock was initially a mystical device of the Yangxiang Race. The fact that it has lasted this long is already its limit.

”Perhaps next year, or the year after, this erstwhile auxiliary Sacred Artifact will completely fracture.

”When I die, I want to be buried together with the Twilight Clock.”

Lu Jianghao said.

”Mentor, as the records suggest, isn’t it true that activating the clock core allows the Twilight Clock’s hands to move, and thus it wouldn’t shatter so easily?”

Sima Lingling inquired again.

The book descriptions were very explicit.

Once the clock core is activated, the Twilight Clock’s hands begin to turn, allowing the Clock Keeper to freely activate the Twilight Clock at any time within a year.

At this point, the activator’s mission is also complete.

With the Twilight Clock in hand, a Clock Keeper can unleash its power using the Qi chain, and when joined with 50 auxiliary Martial Artists, this supreme auxiliary Sacred Artifact can pave the twilight road for the gods.

”True, it’s said that way. Unfortunately, there aren’t any Martial Artists in the present Divine Land who can activate the clock core.

”I wish to see the Twilight Clock hands move, allowing it to last for another year or so.

”It has been a benefactor to the Divine Land; it’s such a pity!

”In fact, activating the Twilight Clock gives the activator a rare opportunity. But Martial Artists nowadays don’t waste time on auxiliary tactics.”

Lu Jianghao raised the Twilight Clock, meticulously inspecting each crack.

”Mentor, give me the Twilight Clock, my disciple might be able to activate it.

”It’s worth a try.”

Sima Lingling mentioned Su Yue.

Since Su Yue’s breakthrough to 2000 cards of Qi Blood, Sima Lingling had this thought.

The mentor’s lifelong obsession has been with the auxiliary branch.

The demolition of You’an Mansion signifies the complete historical elimination of the auxiliary line.

He is old, unable to assume the role of Clock Keeper again, nor can he forge a Qi chain.

Moreover, gathering 50 auxiliary Martial Artists is improbable.

Yet the clock core of the Twilight Clock has every potential to be reactivated, even if it only sustains life for one or two years, it can afford the mentor a temporary respite from the pain of the You’an Mansion’s demolition.

”Haha, Lingling, I know you mean well!

”But I am not senile just yet, nor as fragile as you think. Tearing down You’an Mansion and severing the auxiliary lineage is merely a testament to the strength of the Divine Land.

”Birth, aging, illness, and death, it’s a natural cycle, and I see through it.”

Lu Jianghao waved his hand.

Sima Lingling may appear somewhat detached, but she is deeply understanding of human care.

Yet activating the clock core is not an easy task.

Finding a young prodigy is straightforward, but finding a youth who has honed auxiliary tactics to perfection is harder than ascending to heaven.

If it were any easier, the Twilight Clock wouldn’t have been activated merely three times over centuries.

Even during times of auxiliary Martial Artists’ prosperity, it was still impossible, much less now in decline.

”Mentor, let’s give it a try... he has arrived.

”By the way, my disciple needs Brother Lu Xiliang to impart some knowledge on the Profound Ice Palm.”

Speak of Cao Cao, and Cao Cao appears.

Through the surveillance video in the room, Sima Lingling saw Su Yue entering the lobby of You’an Mansion.
